Abstract

Latar belakang: Umbi porang di Kecamatan Ngrayun berpotensi dijadikan tepung yang dapat menjadi inovasi pangan serta meningkatkan ekonomi masyarakat Ngrayun. Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui kadar kalsium oksalat dan hasil pemutihan (bleaching) tepung umbi porang serta hasil uji mutu tepung umbi porang sesuai dengan SNI 7939:2013. Populasi dalam penelitian yaitu tepung yang terbuat dari umbi porang Kecamatan Ngrayun yang sudah direduksi kalsium oksalatnya dan melewati proses pemutihan. Sampel dalam penelitian yaitu tepung umbi porang dalam sekali produksi yang diambil secara acak. Metode: dilakukan uji mutu SNI 7939:2013 terbatas serpih porang yang meliputi uji kadar air, uji kadar glukomanan, dan uji kadar abu. Dilakukan pula uji reduksi kalsium oksalat dan uji derajat putih. Hasil: pengujian mutu sesuai SNI 7939:2013 bahwa tepung umbi porang memenuhi persyaratan kecuali kadar abu. Hasil uji kadar air 12,965%, kadar glukomanan 50,103%, kadar abu 90,733%, kadar kalsium oksalat setelah direduksi 0,00053 mg, dan derajat putih 315. Simpulan dan Saran: Tepung umbi porang tersebut memenuhi persyaratan kecuali kadar abu, sehingga tepung belum dapat untuk dikonsumsi dan perlu pengolahan yang lebih baik lagi.

Abstract

Basil is a plant that grows wild in the yard. The citral content in this plant produces a distinctive aroma. Utilization of this plant in general is still limited to consumption as fresh vegetables or certain traditional dishes. Basil leaves contain many useful compounds for the body such as vitamins A, B, C, beta-carotene, minerals, proteins, carbohydrates, fats, flavonoids, arginine, anetol and boron. Research on the use of basil leaf extract has been shown to have an effect on reducing the number of Staphylococcus Aureus bacteria, microorganisms that are pathogenic.The metod of vresearch is Experimental method , The sampling use a pupposive sampling,This research aims to make loose powder formulations using ethanol extract of basil leaves and test them for their inhibitory effect on Staphylococcus Aureus bacteria. The formulations made in this study were tabor powder with the main content of 1%, 2% and 3% basil leaf ethanol extract which then tested the of Staphylococcus Aureus. Based on the results of the study, the three formulations above each had an inhibitory power against Staphylococcus Aureus bacteria based on the research results, the three formulations above each had an inhibitory power against Staphylococcus Aureus bacteria Based on physical testing, both formulas 1, 2 and 3 showed results that met the requirements on organoleptic examination, pH, irritation properties, degree of fineness, pouring volume test and shock test, adhesion test and moisture test during storage for 2 weeks. From the results in this study it was concluded that the formulation above met the requirements.

Abstract

Antibiotik merupakan obat yang digunakan untuk mengatasi infeksi bakteri. penggunaan antibiotik di seluruh dunia telah meningkat sebanyak 36%, sehingga menyebabkan meningkatnya resistensi antibiotic. Untuk menghindari hal hal yang tidak di inginkan pada pengguanaan antibiotik, diperlukan KIE (Komunikasi, Informasi dan Edukasi). Proses KIE dalam Pengabdian ini menggunakan media Leaflet. Pengabdian ini bertujuan Untuk mengetahui Pengaruh KIE Media Leaflet Tentang Cara Penggunaan Amoxicillin Terhadap Pemahaman Pasien Rawat Jalan RSUD Dr. Harjono Ponorogo. Desain pengabdian ini adalah pemberian informasi kepada pasien dengan media leaflet, kemudian dilakukan perhitungan untuk melihat seberapa besar efektifitas dari pemveian informasi yang diberikan menggunakan metode kuantitatif deskriptif dengan studi Quasi eksperimental dengan menggunakan desain one group pre-test post-test. Sampel pada pengabdian ini berjumlah 70 responden yaitu pasien atau keluarga pasien. Pengabdian ini dilakukan pada bulan April-Mei 2024. Berdasarkan hasil Pengabdian Pengaruh Kie Media Leaflet Tentang Cara Penggunaan Amoxicillin Terhadap Pemahaman Pasien Rawat Jalan Rsud Dr. Harjono Ponorogo, menunjukkan bahwa nilai N-Gain diperoleh sebesar 0,81. Pada pengabdian ini dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa KIE dengan media Leaflet mempunyai pengaruh yang tinggi terhadap pemahaman pasien tentang cara penggunaan Antibiotik Amoxicillin.

Abstract

Indonesian people have long utilized plants as traditional medicine. One of them is bandotan leaves (Ageratum conyzoides L), which is known to have active compounds such as flavonoids and saponins with potential as antibacterial against Salmonella typhi bacteria. The purpose of this study was to determine the antibacterial effectiveness of ethanol extract of bandotan leaves against Salmonella typhi bacteria.Abstract topics include: introduction (1-2 sentences), the objective of study (1 sentences), maximum 200 word abstract in English in italics with Times New Roman 11 point, single space. Abstract should be clear, descriptive, and should provide a brief overview of the problem studied. Methods: The research was conducted using maceration method to obtain ethanol extract of bandotan leaves with concentration of 5%, 10%, 20%, 40%, and 80%. Antibacterial activity was tested using the diffusion method with paper discs. The zone of inhibition was measured and statistically analyzed using one-way ANOVA.
