Abstract

Terrorism has been a popular issue since September the Eleven. The incident was followed by a proclamation of war against terrorism by the US governments. The US invited other countries to join the campaign with President George W. Bush's monumental saying "You are either with us or against us". The effort of countering terrorism by the US and other countries with a weapon is likely to be ineffective. Countering terrorism, especially religious motivated terrorism can effectively be conducted by understanding the root causes of terrorism and eliminating what so-called global injustice.Terorisme menjadi isu populer sejak 11 September (2001).

The other important species of saplings were Scutellaria discolor and Acer niveum. The plot consisted of 17 species of trees and 9 species of saplings. This species composition was very small comparing to other tropical rain forests elsewhere. This small number of species composition is suggested not directly correlated with a soil fertility.Soil analisis form the plot showed that its properties was not so distinct from other tropical rain forest soil conditions.

Abstract

The government has implemented a Policy for the Imposition of Restrictions on Emergency Community Activities that have an impact on the trade sector, one of which is micro, small and medium enterprises. These business actors, in addition to experiencing a decrease in turnover, also received criminal sanctions in the midst of the imposition of this emergency Community Activity Restriction by the local government. The formulation of the problem in this study is how freedom of trade in the midst of the Imposition of Restrictions on Emergency Community Activities is viewed from the point of view of sociological jurisprudence and justice. The approach method used in this study is a normative juridical approach, with secondary data collection. Data collection in this research is by literature study. The results obtained were analyzed qualitatively. From the results of the study, it shows that in sociological jurisprudence, trading in the midst of the Imposition of Restrictions on Emergency Community Activities is a community right that becomes a public reality that should still be monitored and controlled without imposing fines even though the Salus Populi Suprema Lex Esto principle is the basis for implementing these sanctions. However, at least the legal ideals must still be considered in order to change social values in the community. In the concept of justice, trading in the midst of the Imposition of Restrictions on Emergency Community Activities is the right of everyone to defend their life and life which has been formulated by law in the form of rights and obligations. This emphasizes that the Government must still pay attention to justice by considering economic and social factors, which of course must be relevant to public order where a scale of justice is recognized.

Abstract

Due to their affordability and compact size, the annual rise in fuel prices has prompted Indonesian consumers to opt for more fuel-efficient vehicles, particularly hatchback models. This study analyzes the key factors influencing fuel consumption in hatchback cars produced in 2024 in Indonesia using statistical analysis with MATLAB. The data analyzed includes technical specifications from various popular hatchback models in the Indonesian market, such as vehicle weight, torque, engine capacity, and engine technology. The analysis results show that vehicle weight has a moderate positive correlation (r = 0.25) with fuel consumption, meaning heavier cars use more fuel than lighter vehicles. In contrast, engine capacity and torque show weak negative correlations with fuel consumption, with correlation values of -0.13 and -0.18, respectively, suggesting that while these factors influence performance, their effect on fuel efficiency is relatively minimal. The findings highlight the critical importance of vehicle weight reduction as a key strategy for improving overall fuel efficiency. Furthermore, this study provides essential insights for consumers to select vehicles that offer a better fuel economy. It also offers valuable guidance for manufacturers looking to design more fuel-efficient and environmentally friendly cars. The potential for vehicle weight reduction to become a primary focus for increasing fuel efficiency in hatchback cars is especially emphasized, offering hope for a more sustainable automotive market in Indonesia
