Abstract

The rapid development of information technology can affect all aspects of daily life. One example is information systems. An information system is very important because it can make it easier for us to get the information we need. This is an abstract version of the Indonesian language. The Department of Food Security and Agriculture of Bojonegoro Regency is one of the agencies that needs to implement an information system related to scheduling agricultural extension workers because there is a problem where the scheduling of training and visits of agricultural instructors is done manually. Making an information system is a solution to the problems experienced. The information system that will be created by the author is named SIJALUTANI, where the name is an abbreviation of the Information System for Scheduling Training and Agricultural Extension Visits. The model applied to this information system is using the Waterfall Model.

Abstract

Internasionalisasi pendidikan tinggi merupakan strategi penting dalam meningkatkan daya saing lulusan di kancah global. Namun, minat mahasiswa untuk terlibat dalam program internasionalisasi masih tergolong rendah, sehingga diperlukan upaya peningkatan pemahaman dan kesadaran mengenai manfaat pengalaman akademik internasional. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan minat serta kesiapan global mahasiswa melalui program student mobility bekerja sama dengan Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin (UniSZA) Malaysia. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi koordinasi mitra internasional, sosialisasi program, pendampingan administratif dan teknis, pelaksanaan perkuliahan internasional inbound–outbound, serta monitoring dan evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan minat mahasiswa dalam mengikuti program internasional, kesiapan administrasi yang lebih baik, serta meningkatnya wawasan global dan kepercayaan diri mahasiswa dalam berinteraksi di lingkungan akademik internasional. Dengan demikian, program ini berhasil mendukung peningkatan internasionalisasi di lingkungan Fakultas Ilmu Komputer UPNVJT sekaligus berkontribusi terhadap pencapaian kompetensi global mahasiswa.

Abstract

Hydroponics is a method of growing plants without using soil media. Some vegetables such as spinach are more suitable to be planted during the rainy season with a cool atmosphere, and some other vegetable crops have different temperature requirements so that environmental temperature monitoring and planting media are very important in the hydroponic method of planting. Temperature is a condition that can be measured using a temperature measuring device called a thermometer. The DS18B20 sensor is one of the sensors that can be used to measure water temperature. In this study, the LCD Matrix which has been connected to Arduino displays data from temperature sensors installed at several measurement points, namely on the storage tube at the bottom and surface and in areas close to the planting media. The temperature generated by the system is then validated using a mercury and alcohol thermometer. The use of a microcontroller can help store temperature changes from time to time and can be displayed again. This makes temperature monitoring activities more effective and efficient.
