Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi mengakibatkan banyak media pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan dosen. Sehubungan dengan hal itu, perlu dicoba penggunaan media pembelajaran berbasis Weblog (Blog) untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar mahasiswa, karena hasil pengamatan menunjukkan hasil belajar mahasiswa masih rendah untuk matakuliah Kalkulus I. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui hasil belajar mahasiswa sub kelompok rendah, sub kelompok sedang, dan sub kelompok tinggi dengan pembelajaran menggunakan weblog. Menelaah pendapat mahasiswa tentang pembelajaran dengan menggunakan weblog dan hambatan dalam mengimplementasikan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan weblog. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kuasi eksperimen. Subjek penelitian adalah seluruh mahasiswa semester III tahun ajaran 2012/2013, dengan objek hasil belajar mahasiswa. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu tes dan non tes. Hasil yang diperoleh pada penelitian: Terdapat pengaruh pembelajaran menggunakan weblog terhadap hasil belajar mahasiswa.Terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar mahasiswa antara sub kelompok rendah, sub kelompok sedang, dan sub kelompok tinggi dalam pembelajaran dengan menggunakan weblog. Pendapat mahasiswa tentang pembelajaran dengan menggunakan weblog berada dalam klasifikasi cukup positif. Hambatan-hambatan dalam mengimplementasikan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan weblog, diantaranya: Kurangnya fasilitas internet untuk mengimplementasikan pembelajaran tersebut. Lamanya waktu yang dibutuhkan untuk setiap pertemuan dalam pembelajaran tersebut. Materi yang disajikan dalam weblog tidak semua bisa dimengerti oleh mahasiswa, karena beberapa materi diperlukan pendalaman yang cukup dengan dibantu oleh dosen. Kurang lengkapnya fasilitas yang disediakan weblog dalam mempermudah pembelajaran tersebut.Kata kunci : hasil belajar, media pembelajaran, pembelajaran berbasis weblog

Abstract

Kemajuan dalam bidang pendidikan salah satunya ditandai dengan proses pembelajaran yang tidak lagi berpusat pada guru. Permasalahan tersebut menuntut para ahli untuk mengembangkan pembelajaran yang berimplikasi pada pembelajaran yang berpusat pada peserta didik (student centered learning). Salah satu model yang mengarah pada student centered learning adalah mobile learning (m-Learning). Adapun tujuan dalam penulisan artikel ini adalah (a) untuk mengetahui dan memperoleh gambaran tentang pembelajaran berbasis mobile, dan (b) untuk mengetahui dan memperoleh gambaran mengenai proses pembelajaran berbasis mobile. Pembelajaran ini menggabungkan beberapa aspek diantaranya perangkat teknologi, aspek sosial, dan peserta didik. Pembelajaran dimulai dengan mengunduh aplikasi materi pelajaran untuk di-install di telepon seluler (handphone). Setelah instalasi selesai, pengguna dapat memulai menjelajah materi tersebut. Fasilitas yang disediakan masing-masing penyedia aplikasi materi berbeda-beda, tergantung kebutuhan dan tujuan yang ingin dicapai. Kata Kunci: mobile learning, teknologi, peserta didik

The study is aimed at finding out the result of students learning process in low-level learners, middle-level learners and high-level learners using weblog. It is also aimed at analysing the students opinions and their obstacles in implementing the weblog-based learning. The method used in the study is quasy experiment. The subject of the study is all 3rd semester students year 2012/2013, with the object is the students learning result. The instruments used are test and non test. The result of the study: there is an impact of the weblog-based learning on the students learning result. There are differences in the learning result within the low-level learners, middle-level learners and high-level learners using weblog-based learning. The students opinions toward weblog-based learning is positive. The obstacles are the lack of internet facilities in implementing it and the longer time needed in every meeting. The material given in weblog-based learning is sometime hard to be comprehended by the students, because some materials should be given with the lectures’ help. The weblog also gives insufficient facilities to make the learning process easier.

Abstract

This Arts, Technology, and Science Program for Society is motivated by the number of ECE teachers who are not graduated from the specialized major, and still lack of understanding and skills in designing educational props. In addition, teachers' motivation to create the propsis also low. The purpose of this training is to form a working group of teachers who have knowledge in making creative and innovative props. Making props on this program has a hospitable concept for children, an environmentally friendly, and sourced from materials that are easily obtained from the environment. It has also low manufacturing costs, and implements the principles of 4R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle and Replace) in everyday life, especially in teaching and learning process in school. The programwas implemented in ECE ofCinambo and ArcamanikDisctrict, Bandung. The program lasted for 8 months from March to October 2016. From this activity, all participants gain knowledge and skills in props-making to improve their quality and profesionalism as a teacher. In addition, this training program can open opportunities to develop entrepreneurial spirit to produce safe and environmentally friendly props for children with selling points.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui gambaran keterampilan abad 21 mahasiswa melalui model pembelajaran Problem Based-Calculus Learningbantuan software Geogebra pada kalkulus integral. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenografi. Adapun subjek pada penelitian ini berjumlah 30 semester III Pendidikan Matematika tahun ajaran 2019/2020 kemudian 3 mahasiswa yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling dari keseluruhan mahasiswa untuk melakukan wawancara. Teknik atau langkah-langkah yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah memberikan soal-soal keterampilan abad 21 meliputi  kemampuan pemecahan masalah, kemampuan komunikasi, kemampuan berpikir kritis, dan kemampuan berpikir kreatif serta angket, menganalisis hasil tes keterampilan abad 21 dan jurnal, mengelompokkan mahasiswa ke dalam kelompok atas, menengah, dan bawah untuk kemudian dipilih 3 mahasiswa guna diwawancarai terkait hasil tes. Wawancara ini bertujuan untuk mengklarifikasi hasil tes keterampilan abad 21 dan angket kemudian dianalisis secara kualitatif. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah keterampilan abad 21 mahasiswa kelompok atas adalah baik, keterampilan mahasiswa kelompok sedang adalah cukup baik, dan keterampilan mahasiswa kelopmpok bawah masih kurang baik.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the validity of the learning design and the validity flipbook of the cofactor expansionwith the plomp model related to creative thinking skills, and to determine the implementation of the cofactor expansion learning design with the Plomp model related to creative thinking skills assisted by theapplication flipbook. The method used in this research is design based research according to Plomp. Sources of data in this study are learning design validators, applications, and small groups. The instruments used in this study were design and application validation sheets, creative thinking skills tests and student response questionnaires. In this research, which is developed is learning design with the help ofapplication flipbook. The data obtained were analyzed using percentages which were interpreted according to their qualifications. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that the learning design developed is very valid, the flipbook developed is very valid, the implementation is related to creative thinking skills in the complete category, and student responses meet positive criteria. It is recommended that further research be carried out for large-scale implementation, or other mathematical abilities.

Abstract

The problem in this research is the lack of readiness of the practitioner students to practice in the field and the low ability ofhigh-order thinking of the students of praktikan. The purpose of this research is to know the comparison by using four activelearning models to improve students' high thinking ability. This research uses Research and Development method, with firstphase design, preliminary study done by applying qualitative descriptive approach. The second stage, the development of modeldesign, teaching materials web-based learning media by applying a descriptive approach, followed by the application of smallscopes of model design, teaching materials, and web-based learning media by applying the experimental method (Single OneShot Case Study). The results of the limited trials show that the average value of higher-order thinking skills for the guideddiscovery-based learning model and peer instruction is higher than the MinDS and Making A Conversation type of learningmodel. The findings of the limited trial result of the four guided discovery learning models are more suitable for improvingthe activity as well as the material content of the design of discovery learning activities (KBP) still confuses the students, sothere needs to be improvement.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low creative thinking ability of students in learning mathematics. One alternative learning that can be applied to improve student creative thinking ability is the Blended Learning (BL) model with the help of the edmodo application. The purpose of this study was to see the increase in creative abilities, accountability character, and the relationship between accountability characters and creative thinking ability through the application of the BL model assisted by the Edmodo application. The research method used is a quasi-experimental method. The population in this study were all student of class X in one of the secondary schools in Bandung Regency with a sample of class X IPA 1 as the experimental class and X IPA 2 as the control class. The instrument used was a creative thinking ability test. Based on the results of the Mann Whitney analysis of the creative thinking ability test of students, the increase in creative thinking ability that learn to use the BL model is better for student who use the Discovery Learning Model. The accountability character of students who use the BL model with Edmodo applications has a good interpretation. The accountability character of students has a positive relationship with creative thinking ability and low interpretation.

Abstract

The optimum portion of learning activities of students in a learning becomes urgent given to students, with the ultimate goal of obtaining the expected learning outcomes. However, the reality that occurs, the learning process often marginalizes the activities of students, one of the causes of this problem is the learning process that is fixed on the old pattern, namely the one-way learning process, from the teacher to the students, the teacher carries out learning by ignoring the optimization of participants' learning activities students, learning activities of students are only limited to listening and or taking notes. In other words, the teacher is active while the child is receptive. So that learning outcomes are expected to be at a low level or may not be achieved at all. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR/PTK), PTK is defined as a teacher's measured and systematic effort to solve problems that arise in learning events in his class, as well as to determine the quality of the process and learning outcomes of students. Solving these problems is done inclusive in the implementation of learning that is practical, situational, conditional, and contextual. The conclusion of this study is that cooperative model of TPS type can relatively improve student learning activities, cooperative model of TPS type can relatively improve student learning outcomes, and learning by using cooperative model of TPS type obtain positive responses from students.

Abstract

The underlying problem of this research is the low ability of students in mathematical representation in learning mathematics. One alternative learning that can be applied to improve students' mathematical representation ability is the Creative Problem Solving (CPS) approach. The purpose of this study is to analyze the improvement of mathematical representation ability of students who learn using the Creative Problem Solving (CPS) approach with students learning to use the expository method. This study uses a quasi-experimental method with the nonequvallent pretest and posttest group control design. The study was conducted in one of the junior high schools in Bandung Regency. The population in this study were all students with samples namely class VII A (experimental class) and VII B (control class). The research data obtained from the use of instruments in the form of mathematical representation ability tests and questionnaire responses of students. The results of the analysis show that: 1) Increasing the mathematical representation ability of students who get learning using the Creative Problem Solving (CPS) approach is better than students who get learning with the expository method, 2) Students' responses to learning using the Creative Problem Solving approach (CPS) positive.
