Abstract

Freedom of speech on social media is sometimes inappropriate with the ethics of communicating and has led to cyberbullying. Instagram is the most commonly used social media in cyberbullying. Cyberbullying needs to be minimized because it has many adverse effects. One way that can be done is by identifying cyberbullying comments so those comments can be deleted automatically. The method used in this study is text classification using Support Vector Machine (SVM) algorithm with the application of Binary Particle Swarm Optimization (BPSO) optimization method as features selection. The study aims to build a cyberbullying comments classification model and compare the classification model performance with and without the application of features selection. The experimental results showed that modeling with SVM produces a reasonably accurate classification performance over 72% for all classification performance on each C. The application of BPSO for features selection can improve classification performance by increasing accuracy and specificity. However, the model without features selection on C = 0,1 is chosen in this study case because it has the highest sensitivity with good accuracy and specificity that can detect cyberbullying comments more accurately.

Abstract

Indonesia as one of the largest coal producing countries in the world has an important role in coal global demand. Currently, most countries in Europe are turning to coal as a source of electricity. This is due to Covid-19 pandemic and the conflict between Russia and Ukraine which endangers energy sources. Therefore, forecasting coal prices in the future is needed to determine the right policy in dealing with the large demand for coal. Coal price fluctuation are influenced by several factors such as the prices of the other commodities instance natural gas price. The natural gas price factor will be modeled in coal price forecasting using the transfer function method as the input series. This study compares the ARIMA and Transfer Function in coal price forecasting. The results showed that MAPE values of ARIMA and transfer function method are 23,14% and 17,66%. Based on MAPE values that forecasting using the transfer function method has a better ability than ARIMA method in forecasting coal prices.

Abstract

Scientific documents contain valuable knowledge which can be discovered using text analysis. Meanwhile, the act of typing the text may discover the psychological and health condition. The hand load of the typer is essential information for designing a better keyboard, which is relevant to students' well-being in higher education institutions. This study aims to analyze the hand load of students when typing their theses in the Indonesian language. We calculate letter frequency in the Indonesian language theses documents, examine the hand load balance based on letter position on a QWERTY keyboard, identify letter hotspots, and examine hand alternation using circular visualization. The results are that the left hand has the higher load hand, indicated by the most frequent letter appearing in the documents and the letter W as the hotspot, located on the keyboard's left side. Moreover, hand alternations based on the sequence of Indonesian text identify a significant high alteration of letters from the left to the left side when typing Indonesian documents using the QWERTY keyboard. This result confirmed that the left hand has more load and less time to take a break than the right hand.

Abstract

Multiple correspondence analysis is one of the statistical methods that can be used to describe the characteristics of criminal acts. Information about charateristic of crime is necessary to reduce the number of criminal acts. The purpose of this study is to describe criminal acts in the City and District of Madiun. Data sourced from Madiun City Police Station and Madiun District Police recording during 2016. The result of the research shows that criminal acts of theft, mistreatment and fraud have similar events characteristic at public place and residential area of Madiun City and Sub Unit of Development Area 2 at 06.00-11.59. Gambling and rape also characterize similar events at the crime scene residential area Sub Unit of Development Area 3 at 18.00-23.59. Illegal logging has different characteristics than other criminal acts. Meanwhile, theft, torture, and rape have characteristics of ≤ 25 years old and education level ≥ Senior High School (SHS). But criminal acts of fraud, illegal logging, and gambling have different characteristics of the perpetrators.

Abstract

Based on World Health Organization (WHO) the cases of death due to Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) ranked the 10th worldwide in 2020. CKD need to be done prevent early. History data to identify individuals predisposed to CKD in this research. In this research data contains missing values, therefore using Fuzzy C - Means (FCM) method to address it. The percentage of error in clustering CKD using FCM method is 20,25% and balanced accuracy of 84,80%. The result from classification using Classification and Regression Trees (CART) shows that accuracy value of 97,50%; sensitivity of 100,00%; and specificity of 92,86%. Individual suffer from CKD if having (1) hemoglobin more than or equal 13; spesific gravity 1,020 or 1,025; serum creatinine less than 1,3; albumin 1 or 2 or 3 or 4 or 5; and sugar 0 or 2 or 3 or 4 or 5, (2) hemoglobin more than or equal 13; spesific gravity 1,020 or 1,025; and serum creatinine more than or equal 1,3, (3) hemoglobin more than or equal 13 and spesific gravity 1,005 or 1,010 or 1,015, (4) hemoglobin less than 13 and red blood cell count less than 5,5.
