Abstract

Early childhood development needs to be considered properly, especially cognitive development. However, there are still many parents who are less sensitive to this. Therefore, the authors conducted a study to determine the level of parental concern for the cognitive development of children who were analyzed based on parenting patterns. The research method used a survey method with a sample of 20 parents and 20 teenagers. The results show that there are 45% of parents who choose authoritative parenting and 45% of adolescents who get authoritative parenting from their parents. With this figure, parenting is very influential on children's cognitive development, some of the effects are 50% of people are easy to interact socially, 75% of people are easy to catch life's problems, 55% of people are difficult to find solutions to their problems, 60% are able to understand the concept of value/ love even though it is still difficult, and 65% feel a little involved in the learning process. The author advises readers to always apply authoritative parenting because it is included in the ideal parenting pattern. Abstract

Perkembangan motorik kasar manusia bisa berkembang dengan optimal apabila distimulus dengan cara yang benar, sangat beragam permainan untuk anak-anak yang berfungsi menstimulus motorik kasar misalnya permainan tradisional lompat tali. Pada penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan memahami manfaat dari permainan tradisional lompat tali bagi perkembangan motorik kasar anak usia 5-6 tahun. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara di TK Plus Darul Hikmah dinyatakan bahwa permainan tradisional lompat tali memiliki ragam kebermanfaatan bagi perkembangan motorik kasar anak usia dini. Peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, metode deskriptif. Partisipan yaitu guru anak usia dini di TK Plus Darul Hikmah, kemudian subjek yang digunakan adalah anak berusia 5-6 tahun terdiri dari 3 anak. Teknik pengumpulan data diantaranya teknik observasi, teknik wawancara, dan teknik dokumentasi. Untuk analisis data peneliti melakukan tiga tahapan yang pertama reduksi data, yang kedua penyajian data, dan yang terakhir penarikan kesimpulan. Sumber data yang digunakan adalah data primer dan sekunder. Berdasarkan observasi di lapangan, peneliti menarik kesimpulan bahwa permainan tradisional lompat tali memiliki kebermanfaatan bagi perkembangan motorik kasar anak usia 5-6 tahun apalagi di zaman sekarang sudah jarang dimainkan. Maka, diperlukan pelestarian permainan tradisional.

Abstract

Matematika merupakan ilmu yang penting dalam kehidupan. Para peneliti telah mengamati anak-anak pada saat bermain dan mencatat bahwa pemikiran matematika sering muncul dalam peraturan bermain. Maka sudah menjadi tugas guru untuk megembangka konsep pembelajaran bermain sambil belajar yang khususnya di PAUD yaitu dengan pembelajaran STEAM (Science, Technology, Enginering, Art and Mathematics) ditinjau dari unsur mathematics. Konsep pembelajaran STEAM dapat membantu mendukung keingintahuan itu melalui pengalaman dan peluang bagi mereka untuk terlibat dalam pembelajaran dan bermain mathematics karena dalam pembelajaran STEAM, anak-anak sering bermain dan terlibat dalam dunia angka, geometri, dan pengukuran. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui dasar kebutuhan analisis unsur mathematics pada pengembangan pembelajaran STEAM subtema kendaraan darat untuk anak usia dini. Metode yang digunakan yaitu EDR (Educational Design Reseach) dengan meninjau tahapan satu yaitu analisis dan eksplorasi. Kesimpulannya bahwa dasar kebutuhan analisis unsur mathematics dalam pengembangan kemampuan mathematics untuk anak sangat berpengaruh terhadap proses berpikir anak pada seluruh aspek perkembangannya.

Abstract

Early age is a golden period where all activities that children carry out at that time can affect the future, one of which is the parenting style applied by parents and the environment which will affect children’s development. Therefore, parents must instill good parenting styles for their children. Not only parents, PAUD institutions also need to carry out learning and parenting programs for parents so that the parenting style applied by parents and teachers is the same so that children’s development will be more optimal. The purpose of this research is to find out how the parenting program is implemented at TKN Pembina Tasikmalaya. The method used is qualitative which is carried out with in-depth interviews, so that researchers obtain clearer data. From the results of the interviews, it can be concluded that the Tasikmalaya TKN Pembina can be said to be quite good at implementing parenting programs.

Abstract

Many people utilize swimming pools for exercise, recreation, entertainment, and, nowadays, pools have become a promising business venture. Swimming pools are commonly found in hotels, tourist attractions, and even in modern times, residential homes often come equipped with pool facilities. The Grand Mayasari Estate Swimming Pool is one such pool in Tasikmalaya that is increasingly popular among visitors. This pool is privately owned, and its management provides a comfortable environment for both exercise and recreation. The aim of this research is to understand the management of the Grand Mayasari Estate Swimming Pool, focusing on planning, implementation, evaluation, follow-up, owner and member difficulties, and member development. The research method employed is qualitative with a descriptive approach. Data collection involves observation and interviews. The obtained data reveals effective management, evidenced by thorough planning regarding human resources, facilities, and training programs. Evaluation involves digitalization pressure and customer involvement as steps to adapt to industry trends. Management follow-up illustrates awareness of the importance of a digital presence. Challenges such as customer reviews and identifying areas for improvement are addressed through collaboration between management, customers, and members.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the gross motor skills of children aged 5–6 years through jump rope activities at TK Cahaya Islam, Garut Regency. The method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with the Kemmis and McTaggart model, conducted in three cycles. The research subjects were 19 children from group B2. Data were collected through observation and analyzed using descriptive qualitative and quantitative techniques. The results showed that jump rope activities significantly enhanced children's gross motor abilities, especially in terms of balance and agility. Improvements were observed in each cycle, from the initial condition to the third cycle, with the majority of children reaching the "developing as expected" and "very well developed" categories. Therefore, jump rope games are effective strategies to foster gross motor development in early childhood. Keywords: ross motor skills; jump rope game; early childhood

Abstract

The golden age (0–5 years) is a critical period for children's growth and development, so early detection of malnutrition and the risk of growth failure is crucial to prevent long-term impacts. This study aims to explore the urgency of routine monitoring of early childhood nutritional status and identify risk factors for growth failure. The research method used a descriptive qualitative approach with field observation techniques on 40 children aged 0–72 months at the Ciroyom Integrated Health Post (Posyandu), Tasikmalaya. Data were collected through anthropometric measurements, parent interviews, and developmental examinations using the Pre-Screening Development Questionnaire (KPSP), hearing, and vision tests. The results showed that some children experienced stunting and wasting, as indicated by z-scores below WHO standards. Causal factors include a lack of parental nutritional knowledge, suboptimal parenting patterns, unhygienic environments, and recurrent infections. The conclusion of this study confirms that routine monitoring through Posyandu and comprehensive growth and development detection are essential as early intervention strategies to prevent growth failure in early childhood. Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of gross motor skills in early childhood with special needs (5-6 years) in PAUD Al-Istianah Tasikmalaya Regency. The purpose of this study is to find out the types of delays in grass motor development in early childhood, the causes of delays in childhood development, and solutions and handling from parents and teachers to delays in gross motor development in early childhood. The research method used is a qualitatuve approach with a case study method. This research was conducted in PAUD Al-Istianah, Tasikmalaya Regency with the subject og this study, namely a 6-year-old boy. Data collection techniques carried out by researchers are interviews, obervation, and documentation. The results of this study stated that the subjects studied experienced dealys in gross motor development in the muscles of hands and feet caused by neurological disorders that nad been sufferes since birth. The subject experienced the disorder because the subject was born prematurely, and the dealy was seen when the subject was 3 year.
