Abstract

Integrasi teknologi dalam pembelajaran anak harus dilakukan dengan tepat. Pembelajaran berbasis teknologi tetap harus dapat meningkatkan perkembangan sosial emosional anak, terutama jika dikaitkan dengan interaksi anak dengan dalam lingkungan sosialnya. Platform “Kahoot!” merupakan salah satu website yang dapat dijadikan salah satu alternatif. Desain permainan dalam “Kahoot!” yang bersifat multiplayer memungkinkan anak untuk dapat berkolaborasi sekaligus berkompetisi melalui permainan yang interaktif. Aktivitas yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan platform ini dapat memfasilitasi interaksi sosial anak sehingga kecenderungan terjadinya kecanduan terhadap teknologi (gadget addict) dapat dikurangiKata Kunci : AUD; kahoot; sosial emosional; TIK

Abstract

Pendidikan  karakter  disiplin  perlu  ditanamkan  semenjak  dini,  anggapan  bahwa  anak  usia  dini belum perlu diperkenalkan disiplin karena masih terlalu muda adalah anggapan yang tidak tepat. Karena  karakter  merupakan  sikap  atau  watak  yang  akan  terus  melekat  pada  anak  sampai  anak dewasa.  Manusia  merupakan  makhluk  monodualis,   yaitu    manusia  sebagai  makhluk  individu sekaligus  sebagai  makhluk  sosial.  Menerapkan  disiplin  kepada  anak   bertujuan  agar anak dapat berperan  sebagai  makhluk  sosial  karena  akan  bersinggungan  antara  kehidupan  individual  anak dengan   kehidupan   sosial   bermasyarakat,   sehingga   anak   harus   terampil   dan   terlatih   untuk berdisiplin  agar  dapat  menyesuaikan  kehidupan  dalam  bermasyarakat.  Anak  dapat  membentuk perilaku   sesuai dengan peran-peran yang ditetapkan kelompok budaya, tempat individu itu diidentifikasikan.  Karena  tidak  ada  pola  budaya  tunggal,  pergesekan  dengan  lingkungan  sosial tidak dapat dihindari,  agar anak dapat masuk dalam lingkungan  sosial maka diperlukan  karakter yang dapat diterima oleh lingkungan sosial. Kata Kunci:anak usia din, disiplin, pendidikan karakter

Abstract

This study aims to describe the understanding of group B children in Diponegoro Kindergarten Surabaya can be improved through themed learning videos. This research is a type of quantitative descriptive research using classroom action research (CAR). According to Hasnunidah (2017: 68) explains that classroom action research is an action research conducted in the classroom. The population in this study were group B children at Diponegoro Kindergarten Surabaya. By using purposive sampling, the sample is determined intentionally by the researcher based on certain criteria or considerations so that it does not go through the selection process as is done in the random technique (Faisal, 2008:67). The researcher chose 7 children in group B of Diponegoro Kindergarten Surabaya, which consisted of 4 girls and 3 boys. Data collection techniques are an important part of research with the aim of obtaining valid data in a study. In this classroom action research, data collection is done by using observation, interview and documentation techniques. The results of the research described in the previous chapter can be concluded that the provision of learning videos can improve children's understanding of learning in group B Diponegoro Kindergarten, Tambaksari District, Surabaya City. Because it is seen from the results of developmental assessment observations, in the first cycle the success only reached 57.1%. And in the second cycle the average increased to 85.7%.

Abstract

This research aimed to determine the success of using the reading aloud strategy to improve English pronunciation skills. The reading material has a different topic in each meeting. This research observation was conducted for 3 meetings. It used the qualitative descriptive method. The research subjects were 13 students, consisting of 11 female students and 2 male students. The results of the study showed that the application of reading aloud could improve the ability to pronounce English. Then, this implementation also helped students build a collection of words or vocabulary. Furthermore, this strategy helped students improve comprehension of a text. In addition, this implementation could help classroom management. Teachers could limit student activities as well as control their activities. Abstract

Since the Cold War era, the United States (US) and Russia have practiced the same pattern of diplomatic relations, namely the exchange of prisoners. The exchange started in 1962 and continued to the most recent one in 2022. To this end, this article examines the trajectory of the prisoner exchange between the US and Russia through a descriptive qualitative approach complemented by a transactional diplomacy perspective. A chronology of prisoner exchanges between the two countries is presented in this study, along with the costs involved and the benefits received by each nation. From various exchange events between the US and Russia, it was found that the relationship pattern is transactionalism, tends to be bilateral and even ignores the multilateralism framework. The two countries have taken similar roles as the initiators of prisoners’ exchange. In addition to the roles, the positions of the two countries also alternate with one another. If the US acts as the initiator, Russia will be in a “wait and see” position and vice versa. In the end, bargaining position becomes the determining variable for who is in the “wait and see” position and who acts as the initiator.KEYWORDSPrisoner Exchange; Russia; The United States; Transactional Diplomacy

Abstract

Zheng He (Cheng ho) Mosques become iconic mosques in Indonesia as its architecture represents well Chinese culture. Even though, the legacy of the figure behind this name turned out to be a concern. Many people do not know that Zheng He is one of the figure who has contributed greatly to spread Islam in Indonesia. For this reason, the major objective of this study is investigating how Zheng He’s image and perception formed in the view of young Muslims, as the new generation who have big responsibilities related to the continuity and the development of Islam. The other purposes of this research is to find out how far Zheng He is known, as a diplomat and great explorer, become a role model in the process of young Muslim’s character building. Furthermore, reconstruction is carried out to form a positive image and perception of Zheng He and reconstruct the representation of Chinese culture and its relation to Islam.
