The aims of the research were to determine to the effect of learning models on mathematics achievement viewed from students cognitive style. The learning model compared were model elicting activities, team assisted Individualition, and direct instruction. The kind of research was a quasi experimental research with 3 x 2 factorial design. The population was the students of Junior high school in SMP N Pringsewu. The size of the sample was 208 students. The instruments used were mathematics achievement test and questionnaire. Hypothesis analysis test used two ways analysis of variance with unbalanced cells. The conclusions were as follow. model elicting activities gave better mathematics learning achievement than the students who used Cooperative Learning TAI type and Direct Instruction Assisted Powerpoint, and the students who used Cooperative Learning TAI type gave better mathematics learning achievement than the students who used Direct Instruction Assisted Powerpoint; For all types of students cognitive style give the different effect for mathematics learning achievement of students, In each model of learning, students with cognitive style types field independent gave better mathematics learning achievement than field dependent.Keywords: Kooperatif; MEas; TAI; Gaya Kognitif

This study aims to improve mathematics achievement of the students at MTsGUPPI Kresnomulyo in the academic year 2014-2015 by applying cooperativelearning model, Think Talk Write and direct learning model in terms ofmathematical logic intelligence in high, medium and low categories. This studyincludes quasi experimental with one dependent variable and two independentvariables. The dependent variable is mathematics achievement, and theindependent variable is TTW learning model as the experimental class and directlearning model as the control class. The data analysis was tested by using two-way analysis variance with the measurement 2 x 3. The findings in this study are:(1) the result of cooperative learning TTW type provides the mathematicslearning achievementis better than direct learning; (2) high intelligence ofmathematical logic provides mathematics learning achievement is better thanmedium or low mathematical logic intelligence; and (3) medium mathematicallogic intelligenceis better than low mathematical logic intelligence. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan bantuan keilmuan kepada guru SMP Negeri 25 Bandar Lampung dalam menyusun skenario pembelajaran yang memuat pendidikan karakter selain muatan inti lainnya yaitu pengetahuan dan ketrampilan. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan dalam bentuk pelatihan selama empat kali pertemuan dengan peserta sebanyak 25 orang guru. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode ceramah, tanya jawab, diskusi, dan demonstrasi. Praktik lapangan implementasi skenario pembelajaran yang menerapkan pendidikan karakter oleh guru peserta pengabdian, menggunakan pendekatan saintifik. Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan diperoleh temuan sebagai berikut: 1) Guru SMP Negeri 25 Bandar Lampung sebagai peserta pengabdian kepada masyarakat menunjukkan antusiasme yang sangat tinggi; 2) Para peserta dapat mengimplementasikan penguatan pendidikan karakter kedalam skenario pembelajaran yang disusunnya; 3) Para peserta dapat mengimplementasikan skenario pembelajaran yang disusun dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar; 4) Perubahan karakter peserta didik yang mencerminkan budaya bangsa Indonesia merupakan dampak posistif, dari skenario pembelajaran yang diimplementasikan.

The purpose of this study was to describe the level of students' written mathematical communication skills in solving story problems in algebraic material. The population used is class VIII SMP N 1 Gadingrejo 2017/2018 Academic Year. While the sample is class VIII.9 students with sampling techniques using purposive sampling. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMA Yasmida Ambarawa di kelas XI. Materi matematika bertujuan untuk memahami efek dari kemampuan penalaran terhadap prestasi belajar; efek kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis terhadap prestasi serta efek secara bersama-sama kemampuan penalaran dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan SPSS 25 menggunakan model regresi garis ganda. Penelitian dilakukan di kelas XI dengan jumlah keseluruhan 31 siswa di semester gasal TA 2021/2022. SMA Yasmida Ambarawa merupakan SMA swasta satu-satunya di kecamatan Ambarawa Pringsewu Lampung. Lokasi SMA ini berdekatan dengan SMA N 1 Ambarawa, SMK Yasmida dan SMK Muhammadiyah sehingga jumlah siswa di SMA Yasmida Ambawara relatif sedikit. Temuan penelitian yang disusun secara ringkas meliputi: 1) Ada perbedaan efek kemampuan penalaran matematika siswa dengan pretasi siswa dalam pembelajaran. 2) Ada perbedaan dalam kemampuan menyelesaikan masalah matematika pada prestasi siswa. 3) Terdapat pengaruh kemampuan penalaran matematis beserta kemampuan pemecahan dalam masalah bersama-sama pada pretasi belajar siswa di kelas X1 pada materi Matrik SMA Yasmida Ambarawa saat pembelajaran. Hasil dari R Square adalah 98,5% sehingga prestasi siswa memiliki dampak yang signifikan pada materi matrik.

Dalam pembelajaran matematika dapat menggunakan konteks keseharian yang akrab dan disenangi oleh siswa. Penggunaaan konteks dalam pembelajaran matematika dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan apresiasi yang akan berpengaruh terhadappeningkatan prestasi belajar. Bidang sport atau olahraga khususnya sepakbola merupakan salah satu bidang yang digemari hampir oleh setiap siswa. Menggunakan konteks sepakbola dalam pembelajaran matematika, baik sebagai sumber belajar maupun rekreasi matematika dapat membantu meningkatkan rasa ingin tahu, berpikir reflektif/kritis, dan tentu saja apresiasi terhadap matematika. Ada banyak aspek matematika di dalam permainan sepakbola (Soccer atau Football). seperti topik bilangan, geometri hingga peluang yang dapat dibelajarkan dengan topik sepakbola. Namun permasalahan selama ini ilmu matematika dan ilmu olahraga disampaikan secara masing-masing. Padahal dalam pembelajaran matematika dapat menggunakan konteks olahraga sepakbola. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini menggunakan metode daring/online dengan melakukan webinar menggunakan Platform Zoom. Untuk merealisasikan metode tersebut melakukan tahapan atau tahapan, yakni, 1) Perencanaan, 2) Pelaksanaan, dan 3) Evaluasi. Tujuan dari program ini adalah memberikan pemahaman tentang relevansi antara pembelajaran matematika dikaitkan dengan konteks olahraga sepakbola. Hasil yang didapatkan dari kegiatan ini bahwa peserta menyatakan puas dengan kegiatan yang dilakukan, mendapatkan pengetahuan bahwa dalam pembelajaran matematika dapat dikaitkan dengan konteks permainan sepakbola.

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of FlipaClip as a learning media, and to compare the problem-solving abilities of students who learn using FlipaClip and PowerPoint. This study employed the ADDIE development paradigm (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluate) as a framework for research and development (R&D). The findings demonstrated the validity and viability of learning media that use a contextual approach to linear program content. With extremely valid criteria, the material validation findings came out at 84.38%. The validation results from media experts were 94.79%, which is considered highly valid. Although the student response received an assessment percentage of 83.64%, the response also met the FlipaClip-based learning media's "very interesting" requirements, indicating that it is practical to use. Moreover, the research shows that FlipaClip-based learning media on program material can improve the mathematical problem-solving ability of class XI students. Quantitatively, the difference is shown by the interpretation of N-Gain obtained in the experimental class, which is quite an effective category with a percentage of 70.22%. The average mathematical problem-solving ability of grade XI students who are given FlipaClip-based learning media is higher than the average student who is not given the media, as indicated by the results of the independent sample t-test, namely the Sig. (2- tailed) value of 0.000 <0.05.

Permasalahan dalam riset ini merupakan rendahnya hasil ulangan harian siswa yang disebabkan oleh rendahnya keterampilan representasi matematis siswa. Riset ini ialah riset deskriptif dengan memanfaatkan instrumen berbentuk soal uji yang berupa soal penjelasan serta pedoman wawancara. subjek penelitian berjumlah 23 orang siswa, penerapan pembelajaran di lakukan secara daring di masa pandemi Covid-19. Instrumen riset di bagikan melalui whatsapp grup, serta wawancara dicoba lewat via telpon. Informasi yang diperoleh dianalisis buat mengenali keahlian representasi matematis siswa. Menurut hasil analisis lembar jawaban serta wawancara dari 23 siswa diperoleh kesimpulan jika ketercapain siswa pada indikator representasi visual 65,2%; indikator representasi ekspresi maupun persamaan 43,5%; dan indikator representasi kata-kata 41,2%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan representasi matematis siswa masih perlu diperhatikan untuk dapat ditingkatkan. The problem in this research is the low results of students' daily tests caused by the low mathematical representation skills of students. This research is descriptive research using an instrument in the form of test questions in the form of explanatory questions and interview guidelines. The research subjects were 23 students, the application of learning was carried out online during the Covid-19 pandemic. The research instrument was distributed via WhatsApp group, and interviews were tried via telephone. The information obtained was analyzed to identify students' mathematical representation skills. According to the results of the analysis of the answer sheets and interviews of 23 students, it was concluded that the student's achievement in the visual representation indicator was 65.2%; representation indicators of expressions and equations 43.5%; and indicators of representation of words 41.2%. This shows that the mathematical representation ability of students still needs to be considered so that it can be improved.

The study aimed to determine the effect of participating in the exact student association organization (HIMEKS) and the intensity of learning on student achievement in mathematics education at FKIP-UMPRI. The activity in question was the involvement and an essential role in the organization's activities to foster and develop talents and increase student motivation. The intensity of learning included motivation, time or duration, discipline, concentration, frequency, activity, and presentation. This type of research used ex post facto with a quantitative approach. The population was all students of mathematics education FKIP-UMPRI. The research sample was Himeks administrators who were taken using a purposive sampling technique, totaling 43 people. Data collection through the distribution of questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis technique used simple regression analysis technique and multiple regression analysis. The results of data analysis: (1) there was an effect of activities following the HIMEKS organization with a contribution of 9.1% on student learning achievement. A positive effect with a correlation coefficient (r_x1y) of 0.302 with a low category; (2) there was an effect of learning intensity on student achievement with a contribution of 28.7%. The positive effect showed by the correlation coefficient (r_x2y) of 0.536, including the medium category; (3) there was an effect of participating in the HIMEKS organization and the intensity of learning together on student learning achievement 32.0%. A positive effect with a correlation coefficient of r_x1x2y=0.566 in the medium category.
