Abstract

The coverage and even distribution of health services, throughout the territory of the Republic of Indonesia particularly in Remote Areas, Border and Islands (DTPK) need to be improved. With the formulation of action plans and development plans by the Government, one of which is the strategy of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia, 2015 is to increase the access of the Remote, Border and Islands (DTPK) communities to quality health services. This research was a descriptive observational research at Tanimbar Kei Public Health Center of Southeast Maluku District of Maluku Province. The study was conducted from March to June 2016. Data were collected through interviews with 93 community respondents and local community health centers at randomly selected. As well as the results of the authors observations during his work at the Health Office of Southeast Maluku District, also conducted a review of documents/policies, (literature). The amount of manpower is only 2 people that is 1 nurse educated School of Health Nurse (SPK) and Midwife. Facilities are also very lacking of medical equipment amounting to 10 and non medical amounting to 6 is 2 tables and 4 chairs. Remote Areas, Borders and Islands (DTPK) have extreme topography; The role of infrastructure is one of the important physical components for DTPK. There is a significant correlation between the condition of infrastructure and the socio-economic activities of the community, as well as the welfare of the people at the border; and the availability of health services and supporting facilities in remote areas, borders and islands (DTPK) is still low. Abstract

Pusat Pengembangan Pemberdayaan Pendidik dan Tenaga Kependidikan atau sering disebut dengan Vocational Education Development Center (VEDC) Malang, yang disingkat PPPPTK-BOE/VEDC Malang merupakan pusat pengembangan dan pemberdayaan guru khususnya Guru SMK, serta pendidikan dan pelatihan skill melalui program “skill training” untuk tenaga profesional dari industri dan masyarakat umum. Berdasarkan pengamatan pada umumnya peraturan disiplin kerja dan keteraturan kerja sudah dituangkan dalam prosedur-prosedur kerja yang lengkap dan dapat dilaksanakan dengan baik, tidak sebatas formalitas belaka. Kinerja dalam bentuk perbuatan nyata, dedikasi dan loyalitas aparatur negara teraktualisasi dalam keseharian, bahkan melahirkan prestasi yang patut dibanggakan. Disamping karena kuatnya budaya kerja institusi adanya kepemimpinan yang demokratis, tupoksi yang jelas, manajemen yang solid, kepakaran para widyaiswara, staf karyawan terkembangkan, inilah yang sangat mendukung terwujudnya suasana kerja yang ergonomis (ergonomic atmosphere) sehingga memungkinkan PPPPTK-BOE/VEDC Malang sebagai Institusi pemerintah yang mampu membangun sebuah kinerja yang beratmosfir Industri.Sampel penelitian diambil secara acak pada kelompok berdasarkan unit kerja yang ada di PPPPTK BOE/VEDC Malang. Pengujian dilakukan melalui teknik analisis regresi berganda guna mengetahui pengaruh antara variabel Budaya Kerja , Gaya Kepemimpinan Demokratis , yang masing-masing sebagai variabel bebas, terhadap Kinerja Widyaiswara sebagai varibel tergantungnya.Hasil dari pengujian hipotesis yang telah dijelaskan pada bagian sebelumnya,   diketahui bahwa dari semua variabel  yang diteliti semuanya mendukung hipotesis yang telah diajukan, yang diwakili oleh variabel Budaya Kerja (X1), dan Gaya Kepemimpinan Demokratis (X2), terhadap Kinerja Widyaiswara (Y) diperoleh nilai sebesar 71,1% sedangkan sisanya, yaitu 28,9%, dijelaskan oleh variabel lain di luar persamaan model. Kontribusi Budaya Kerja 26.30 %,  dan kontribusi Gaya Kepemimpinan Demokratis 23.71 %, dan dapat disampaikan bahwa karyawan PPPPTK - BOE / VEDC Malang dapat mengambil manfaatnya , terbukti dengan memberi pengaruh yang positif terhadap kinerja widyaiswara

Abstract

This literature review explores the intricacies of human resource management (HRM) in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), focusing on the unique challenges and innovative practices that characterize HR operations within this sector. The primary objective of this study is to synthesize existing literature to understand how SMEs manage their human resources amidst resource constraints and competitive pressures from the global talent market. Employing a qualitative research methodology, this review meticulously analysed scholarly articles, industry reports, and case studies to develop a comprehensive understanding of the current HR landscape in SMEs. The findings reveal that SMEs frequently grapple with issues such as limited financial and human resources, difficulties in attracting and retaining talent, compliance with complex employment laws, and the integration of technology in HR practices. Despite these challenges, SMEs often adopt flexible and innovative HR approaches that leverage their agility and close-knit organizational cultures to enhance employee engagement and organizational loyalty. Theoretical frameworks like the Resource-Based View, Psychological Contract Theory, and Social Exchange Theory provide valuable insights into effective strategies for managing human resources in SMEs. The study underscores the importance of strategic HR management in leveraging human capital as a key asset for competitive advantage. It also highlights the critical role of technology in streamlining HR operations, suggesting that SMEs can significantly benefit from embracing HR innovations to overcome inherent limitations and foster sustainable growth.

Abstract

In the present era, the concept of community empowerment, highlighted in the SDGs, has gained traction as a prevailing phenomenon on the global social landscape. Mentari Sehat Indonesia (MSI) implements a community empowerment practice based on noble values. To describe the noble values that exist in the MSI community in community empowerment practices and the stages of their internalization, the universal noble values category developed by Kluckhohn is used. This research is a single case study with data sourcing from informant, library study, written document and archive, and visual data collected through interview, observation and documentation. 12 people informant was selected purposively based on sex, leadership for regional subsidiary organization, and education level. Data was analyzed using an interactive model of analysis including data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing as well as verification. Data validation was conducted using source triangulation technique.  The study discovered several important values within the MSI Community, including views on life, work, ethics, nature, time, and relationships among people. The internalization of noble values was conducted by MSI community through value transformation, value transaction, and trans-internalization stages. These three stages seem to be a good strategy in forming work character for an organization or community.

Abstract

Perkembangan produk berbasis herbal semakin meningkat seiring dengan meningkatnya permintaan akan produk kesehatan. Hard candy berbahan dasar jahe dapat menjadi produk yang menjanjikan karena populer dan terjangkau, serta dapat diproduksi dengan menggunakan teknologi sederhana. Upaya pengembangan produk olahan jahe yang telah umum adalah dalam bentuk minuman, manisan dan bahan dasar campuran jamu yang hanya dikonsumsi oleh kalangan dan usia tertentu. Bentuk olahan jahe selain yang telah ada  perlu dikembangkan lagi terutama untuk memperluas penikmat jahe sebagai makanan sehat untuk semua kalangan. Sehingga tujuan dari pembuatan hard candy dalam pengabdian masyarakat ini lebih difokuskan pada: melakukan pemberdayaan masyarakat Desa Murtajih, pemanfaatan sumber daya alam jahe dan penerapan teknologi tepat guna pembuatannya. Metode yang digunakan adalah melakukan sosialisasi (diseminasi) dan praktek teknologi pasca panen jahe, pengolahan  dan pembuatan hard candy jahe  Lokasi pengabdian adalah Desa Murtajih, Kabupaten Pamekasan. Berdasarkan hasil sosialisasi dan praktek pembuatan yang dilakukan antusiasme masyarakat sangat baik. Hal ini ditunjukkan oleh tingginya partisipasi masyarakat untuk ikut serta. Jawaban masyarakat terhadap kemanfaatan program pengabdian ini terutama untuk mau membuat dan berusaha sendiri cukup besar yaitu masing-masing sebesar 93 % dan 90 %. Alasan yang mendasar adalah desa Murtajih selain didukung oleh pariwisata juga sumber daya jahe cukup besar serta teknologi pembuatannya yang relatif sederhana.
