Waste is a serious problem in Indonesia, including Surakarta City, due to the low awareness of the community, especially housewives, in its management. This design aims to design character illustrations in the educational book of compost fertilizer from organic waste to help deliver information effectively. This design focuses on character illustrations inspired by the head of the PKK women who will be used in the educational book. This type of research is qualitative research with a descriptive approach, the design method used is design thinking. Data collection is done through observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. The design thinking method consists of five stages, namely empathize, define, ideate, prototype and testing. The data used in this design consists of library data, data from interviews with PKK leaders and members in Jebres Village. The result of this design is an educational book that has a size of 14.8 cm x 21 cm or A5 size with 33 pages. The type of paper used on the book cover is 260 gsm artcarton while, for the contents using 150 gsm artpaper. Supporting media in this design are posters and Merchandise, namely tote bags and pins. Educational media in the form of books has been tested on the target audience and the character illustrations presented are able to represent educational messages effectively through visualization of friendly characters, familiar with the audience, and costumes that support and pay attention to the appropriate color theory.

The purpose of the article is to analyze the definition and role of Islamic insurance in maintaining human welfare and strengthening economic growth. This research uses a type of qualitative research with the approach method used by researchers is a library study approach (Library Research). Data collection uses literature studies such as books, scientific journals and written reports related to Islamic insurance and economic growth. The results of this study indicate that there are various definitions of Islamic insurance and Islamic insurance plays an important role for human benefit and strengthens economic growth. Islamic insurance also plays an important role in maintaining the five elements that are the foundation of human welfare, namely protecting religion, soul, mind, offspring and property or known as (Maqashid Syariah). Islamic insurance plays an important role in increasing investment, improving the community's economy, as a source of development financing, and can sharing financial risks caused by unexpected events or disasters

Child is a surrogate of Allah, bud, potential, and the young generation, the successor of future goals of national struggle, has a strategic role, characteristics and special natures, so it must be protected from all forms of inhuman treatment. Among the forms of inhumane treatment is the sexual crimes, which resulted in violations of children's rights. In this case, for the perpetrators of sexual crimes on children, legal practitioners in Indonesia plan on giving emasculated punishment (as an additional punishment), in addition to the jail punishment. Observing the discourse (emasculated punishment), appears various respons, there are pros and cons. So that, before the law was enacted, the depth research would need to do, ensuring the pedofillia can be called a crime. What proposition is used. If no clear proposition found, what beneficiaries consideration is being used. If he devastating,what human element was ruined. If it is certain he is devastating and belived to be malicious it also necessary to know in which category of crime. After that, a suitable sanctions to the crime is set. To set it, a carefully, decompose and measurable data is a necessity

This study aims to find out about the implementation of the aqiqah in the Maulid Nabi in Nagari Padang Laweh in terms of tradition. Aqiqah is an expression of gratitude for the birth of a child, which is basically the seventh or fourteenth day of birth or the twenty-first day. However, this did not happen to the Nagari Padang Laweh, the implementation of the aqiqah was held to coincide with the celebration of the Prophet's Birthday in the month Rabiul Awwal determined by custom. This ritual has been carried out from generation to generation and is still ongoing today. The implementation of the aqiqah will be reviewed from the â€˜urf prevailing in the Islamic tradition. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach. The primary data of this study were obtained through interviews with thirteen informants. After the data is collected, it is classified based on existing themes, then coded and analyzed with valid theory, and â€˜urf so that conclusions can be drawn. The case study in this research relates to the implementation of the aqiqah along with the celebration of the Bulan Maulid. The results of the study show that the implementation of the aqiqah which coincides with the Bulan Maulid will provide relief to parents who participate in giving away their children. This is in line with Islamic law, and has proven to contain a lot problem. The conclusion from this research is that the implementation of the aqiqah includes urf shahih and local wisdom that needs to be preserved.

Program Gerakan Siang Mengaji merupakan salah satu bentuk kegiatan keagamaan yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kecintaan anak-anak terhadap Al-Qur’an di tengah kesibukan umat. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan secara rutin di TPA Al-Muzzakaroh Desa Pedataran, Kecamatan Gelumbang, Kabupaten Muara Enim. Latar belakang dari adanya program ini adalah keprihatinan terhadap berkurangnya waktu anak-anak dalam berinteraksi dengan Al-Qur’an, terutama akibat perkembangan teknologi dan aktivitas bermain yang kurang bermanfaat. Oleh karena itu, Gerakan Siang Mengaji hadir sebagai upaya mengisi waktu luang anak-anak dengan kegiatan positif yang berbasis nilai-nilai Islam. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan Program Gerakan Siang Mengaji, mengidentifikasi partisipasi anak-anak serta masyarakat, dan menganalisis dampak program terhadap peningkatan kemampuan membaca Al-Qur’an serta pemahaman keislaman anak-anak di Desa Pedataran. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Data diperoleh melalui observasi langsung kegiatan, wawancara dengan anak-anak, mahasiswa pelaksana program, orang tua, dan tokoh masyarakat, serta dokumentasi berupa foto dan catatan kegiatan. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman dengan tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Keabsahan data dijaga melalui triangulasi sumber dan teknik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program ini memberikan dampak positif yang signifikan. Anak-anak lebih fasih membaca Al-Qur’an sesuai kaidah tajwid, memahami dasar-dasar ajaran Islam, serta memiliki kebiasaan religius yang lebih baik. Dukungan orang tua dan masyarakat juga sangat kuat, sehingga tercipta lingkungan religius yang kondusif. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah Program Gerakan Siang Mengaji mampu menjadi media strategis dalam menumbuhkan kecintaan terhadap Al-Qur’an, memperkuat budaya literasi Islam, dan membangun generasi Qur’ani di tengah masyarakat Desa Pedataran.

The development of digital technology today requires adequate digital literacy skills. This Community Service Program (PKM) took the form of mentoring on the use of the Figma application as a UI/UX design tool, aiming to enhance the digital literacy skills of students at SMK Negeri Tugumulyo. This PKM was also expected to develop students' UI/UX design abilities so they can compete in the creative industry. The target participants were 11th-grade students from the Software Engineering (RPL) department at SMK Negeri Tugumulyo. The implementation methods for this mentoring included lecture, discussion, demonstration, and Q&A session. The material covered an introduction to UI/UX design, its process stages, and how to utilize the Figma application. The activity concluded with a quiz with prizes to test participants' understanding. As a result, participants gained a better understanding of digital literacy, increased their knowledge about UI/UX design, and learned to utilize the Figma application as a UI/UX design tool. As a follow-up plan, more in-depth training will be conducted on the utilization and use of the Figma application as a UI/UX design tool, to prepare students for careers in the field of digital design.

In a film industry, advertising media is needed to promote or introduce films to be shown. One of the advertisements that is often used in cinema is posters. Posters are closely related to visual communication design, with visuals depicted can convey the important point of a film. Movie posters contain information and have design elements, namely visual elements and verbal elements contained in the design of Secret Magic Control Agency animated film posters. In the animated film, Secret Magic Control Agency is a family comedy film made in England and Russia based on popular fairy tales by brothers Gimm who are reliable storytellers who write many famous legendary fairy tales. The purpose of this study is to describe the elements of poster design and poster design styles used in Secret Magic Control Agency movie posters. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques, literature studies, and observations on Secret Magic Control Agency animated film posters. The design style of this poster is 3D, fun and secret agent adventure where the illustrations of the poster related to the magical world are depicted like real life objects that are colorful and contain fantasy which is very suitable for children. The Secret Magic Control Agency animated movie poster is made in accordance with the principles of layout, namely sequence and asymmetrical balance.
