Abstract

Covid-19 can affect everyone including infants, children, adults, and the elderly. However, people with the highest risk factors are the elderly. The purpose of this service activity is to provide health education about Covid-19 and ways to prevent its spread to the elderly and their families. The methods used are lectures, discussions, and demonstrations. Counseling material about the definition of covid-19, the causes and methods of transmission of the corona virus, symptoms of covid-19, and how to prevent covid-19 with 3M. The counseling begins with a pretest and ends with a posttest. After being given counseling, the level of knowledge of residents about preventing the transmission of Covid-19 with 3M increased from where previously there were only 5 people (33%) who had good knowledge, after being given counseling increased to 12 people (80%).

Abstract

Hipertensi merupakan salah satu penyakit kardiovaskuler yang paling umum dan paling banyak diderita oleh masyarakat. pengobatan secara farmakologi dengan patuh minum obat antihipertensi secara teratur setiap hari.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis secara mendalam kepatuhan berobat pada lansia hipertensi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi fenomenologis. Hasil penelitian ini diperoleh :1) Pengetahuan informan masih sangat minim. informan belum memahami sebab dan akibat yang dapat timbul dari penyakit yang mereka derita. 2) Dukungan yang diperoleh informan dari pihak keluarga sudah cukup baik. 3) Masih kurangnya motivasi yang dimiliki oleh informan; 4) Peran petugas belum maksimal. Masih ada tenaga kesehatan yang belum melaksanakan tugas dan perannya sesuai dengan bidang ilmu yang dimiliki; 5) Keterjangkauan akses ke pelayanan kesehatan tidak berpengaruh terhadap kepatuhan informan. Saran bagi puskesmas agar dapat lebih memberikan perhatian khususnya pada lansia terkait dengan penyakit hipertensi yang dideritanya agar mereka dapat lebih patuh lagi dalam menjalani pengobatan.

Abstract

Sectio Caesresa merupakan tindakan pembedahan yang bertujuan melahirkan bayi yang dapat menimbulkan resiko infeksi bahkan mengancam jiwa. Perawatan luka yang tidak tepat dapat memperlambat proses penyembuhan luka. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah untuk meningkatnya pengetahuan dan keterampilan klien dan keluarga dalam melakukan manajemen perawatan luka post Sectio Caesarea. Metode pelaksanaan berupa ceramah, diskusi dan demonstrasi. Hasil kegiatan setelah dilakukan edukasi pengetahuan klien meningkat. Kesimpulan, manajemen perawatan luka yang terstandar dan respon positif dari klien akan membantu proses penyembuhan luka.

Abstract

The research was conducted using the method literature review. The literature review examines various research reports published in journals with the same focus. jurnal studies related to complementary therapies in patients with hypertension, international journal using Pubmed database, derect Science, Wiley, and DOAJ. The keywords used are "Hypertension AND Complementary Therapy". After filtering according to the research criteria, 8 journals that are relevant and worthy of review are obtained. The most effective use of therapy among the elderly is therapy using herbal medicine because herbal therapy is easy to reach and cheap and can even be obtained free of charge around the neighborhood. However, as it is known that hypertension is one of the diseases related to the circulatory system so that the elderly still need conventional therapy to assist in controlling blood pressure and exercise therapy or holistic therapy
