Abstract

Matlab software was applied in solving physics cases in electronics using value calculation programs and Eigenvectors. The physics case solved is an moving oscillator circuit consisting of five capacitors and four inductors. The purpose of this program is to determine the value and the Eigenvectors that can be obtained. The method used is to utilize the problem of values and Eigenvectors in the Matlab program. In the case of oscillator motion, each capacitor's size and inductor system have been determined according to the system.. The equation of motion for the capacitor and inductor system is reviewed at each point of the inductor and the function used is  called the ansatz function, then differentiated twice concerning time. By using the Matlab program application, the results obtained show that by using eig (Eigen) command the Matlab program can accurately show the results of running (execution) values and Eigenvector.

Abstract

The need for telecommunications access continues to increase. This is accompanied by the need for access to internet services. Within the increasing number of service users every time the improvement of quality of service is needed. jz power control method on the interference, used two schemes of power control method that is fixed power control, and adaptive power control. The result of simulation obtained by CDF analyisis scheme of fixed power control able to improve SINR equal to 11,45% and adaptive power control have value of improvement 8,65% in downlink period. And in uplink period increase of SINR equal to 3,29% with fixed power control and 2,24% with adaptive power control.

Abstract

Website desa Nagari Padang Ganting berisikan kumpulan informasi yang dapat di akses oleh publik melalui jaringan Internet melalui URL http://padangganting.desa.id/. Saat ini Website tersebut hanya menampilkan informasi lama, belum ada keterbaruan informasi yang bisa diakses. Belum ada informasi tambahan mengenai video dan deskripsi mengenai objek wisata Nagari Padang Ganting. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk optimalisasi pengelolaan Website Nagari dalam rangka peningkatan promosi wisata Nagari Padang Ganting. Hal ini tentu dapat meningkatkan promosi objek wisata Nagari Padang Ganting, sehingga dapat membatu perekonomian masyarakat karena mendapatkan multiplier effect dari kegiatan pariwisata yang ada di Nagari Padang Ganting. Sehingga bermanfaat secara langsung kepada Nagari Padang Ganting, Kelompok Sadar Wisata dan masyarakat Nagari Padang Ganting khususnya upaya meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan selama enam bulan dengan metode kegiatan yaitu persiapan, pelatihan, optimalisasi wesbite, dan terakhir adalah finalisasi. Target dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat pada Nagari Padang Ganting adalah pelatihan Website dalam upaya optimalisasi Website Nagari Padang Ganting.

Abstract

Telkomsel has introduced 5G technology in Padang City, evaluated through drive tests using G-Nettrack Pro software to measure Reference Signal Received Power (RSRP) and Signal to Interference plus Noise Ratio (SINR). The tests revealed RSRP values ranging from -44 dBm to -100 dBm and SINR values between -12 dB and 26 dB. While high RSRP does not always guarantee high throughput, higher SINR consistently improves throughput, with the highest throughput reaching 153,053 kbps at SINR levels between 10 and 30 dB. Modulation and Carrier Aggregation (CA) also play a significant role, with 64-QAM modulation combined with CA achieving throughput up to 31,500 kbps, compared to 6,300 kbps without CA. Although CA bandwidth decreased from 100 MHz to 50 MHz, throughput remains higher compared to 20 MHz bandwidth without CA. CA proves highly effective in enhancing throughput through larger bandwidth and more efficient modulation. Additional factors such as handover, interference, and physical and weather conditions also impact network performance. Overall, Telkomsel’s 5G network in Padang City meets the company’s Key Performance Indicators (KPI), despite some areas with suboptimal signal quality.

Abstract

The development of communication technology, especially 4G LTE, has driven an increase in the need for high-speed internet services in all regions, including rural areas such as Tinombo District, Parigi Moutong Regency, Central Sulawesi. However, geographical conditions dominated by hills and bays cause the quality of Telkomsel's 4G LTE network in this region to vary and is not fully optimal. This study aims to analyze the performance of Telkomsel's 4G LTE network in Tinombo based on Key Performance Indicator (KPI) parameters which include Reference Signal Received Power (RSRP), Reference Signal Received Quality (RSRQ), and Signal to Interference and Noise Ratio (SINR). The method used is a drive test with the G-NetTrack Pro application on mobile devices, covering field measurements from Tinombo Village to Sipayo Village, Sidoan District. Data is obtained through real-time signal recording configuration, with support for routing and location of Base Transceiver Station (BTS) using Google Earth Pro and Cell Mapper. The analysis was conducted to evaluate the signal strength, signal quality, and interference level on Telkomsel's 4G LTE network. The results of the study are expected to provide scientific information related to the actual condition of 4G LTE network performance in rural areas, as well as become a reference for service providers in optimizing network quality. This research is also relevant for academics, researchers, and telecommunication practitioners, especially in the field of Radio Frequency Engineering, in understanding the technical challenges of network implementation in areas with complex topography.

Abstract

Reliable and high-performance Internet access is essential to support practical activities in the IBN Lampung Computer Laboratory. Dependence on a single ISP often leads to connection disruptions, reduced service quality, and interruptions in the learning process. This study aims to design and implement a Mikrotik-based load balancing system to improve Internet performance by utilizing two ISP links and providing an automatic failover mechanism when one link becomes unavailable. The research employs the Network Development Life Cycle (NDLC) approach, which includes network requirement analysis, multi-WAN topology design, implementation of load balancing and failover configurations on Mikrotik, and performance testing. The results show that the load balancing system successfully distributes traffic more evenly, enhances connection stability, and provides more consistent Internet speed. Additionally, the failover mechanism works effectively and ensures service continuity when an ISP experiences downtime. In conclusion, the implementation of a Mikrotik-based load balancing system effectively improves Internet access quality and supports smoother laboratory activities.
