Abstract

Lesson Study for Learning Community was held by applying Magang Based Lesson Study at Universitas Cokroaminoto Palopo. There were ten Students collaborated with 4 lecturers and 4 teachers. Those teachers are the teachers at SMP Negeri 1 Palopo, SMP Negeri 2 Palopo, SMP Cokroaminoto Palopo, and a teacher at SMA Negeri 6 Palopo. This paper aimed is describing the students’ activities in learning by teaching and how they prepare their class. The research question of this paper is what are the students’ activities in preparing their class? How do the students’ prepare their class? What Lesson learned found in Magang Based Lesson Study? In answering the research question, the researcher conducted a research in a year by participating in learning community. Although this research has not finished yet, she describes that the students who conducted Magang prepared their class by learning how do their students learn. After that, they discussed it by collaborating with lecturers at Universitas Cokroaminoto Palopo. In doing teaching in classroom, the rest of the students observed the students’ way in learning. It is about when do the students start to focus on studying, how did they learn collaboratively with their groups.

Abstract

Educators as human resources must be able to adapt to various advances in science and technology. As a professional, educators must be able to plan, implement, and assess the learning that has been done. By taking advantage of the opportunity to increase the intensity of the use of social media during the pandemic, educators must also be ready to learn to continue to increase their creativity and innovation in planning interesting learning. The purpose of the study was to determine the role of social media as a learning platform in the era of covid 19. The results showed that by utilizing social media, especially whatsapp as a supporter of the learning process, it was able to have a positive influence, especially during the current covid-19 pandemic. Both as teaching staff and students feel the use of WhatsApp social media itself, in exploring their abilities, especially in using the media in creating assignments and materials in learning.

Abstract

This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted at SDN 104 Wiwitan which aims to improve students' reading literacy of class V in Indonesian learning through the REAP learning method. The sample of this research is 30 students in academic year 2021/2022. The instruments used to get the data are observation and test. Data analysis used quantitative and qualitative descriptive statistics. The result of this research showed that the average value of students in the first cycle was 51% with a classical learning percentage of 13%, and in the second cycle the average value obtained by students was 85% with a percentage of 93%. Judging from these data, it can be concluded that there is an enhancement in students' reading literacy in Indonesian learning after they being taught using REAP (Read, Encode, Annotae, Ponder) method, where from cycle I to cycle II it increased by 34%.

Abstract

The development of Information Technology (IT) has progressed rapidly. This development also affects the Information System (IS). Most organizations use and consider IS as an important part of business processes. The Makassar City State Civil Service Agency is a Civil Service Agency located in the Makassar City Government area that implements SI as a support for business processes. One of the SI used is the Personnel Management Information System (SIMPEG). SIMPEG is a system specifically designed to provide information on personnel administration management quickly, accurately, and functions to manage personnel data and information within the Makassar City Government work environment. The purpose of this study was to see the implementation of SIMPEG at BKN Makassar city. The results of this study indicated that the maturity level of the MEA01 and MEA02 processes reached 3.70 and 3.55 at level 4 which had been carried out within the limits set to achieve the expected results. And in the MEA02 process it reaches 3.36, namely at level 3, where this process has been carried out using certain predetermined processes, which are able to achieve the expected results. The recommendations given in general are expected to be used as input so that they can help improve the quality of IT governance in SIMPEG implementation
