Abstract

Broadbeaked Mustard (Brassica narinosa L.H. Bailey) or better known by other names Ta Ke Chai and Tatsoi is a type of mustard is still relatively rare in the market even though some farmers have started cultivating it, its production and distribution are not as much as other types of mustard greens, and has a relatively higher selling price than the selling price of other mustard greens. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of a combination of organic growing media and EC value of the nutrient on the growth and yield of Pagoda mustard in a hydroponic wick system. The study used a single factor randomized block design with 12 treatments, namely A (rockwool + EC 1.5-1), B (rockwool + EC 2.5-1), C (rockwool + EC 3.5-1), D (charcoal husk + EC 1.5-1), E (husk charcoal + EC 2.5-1), F (husk charcoal + EC 3.5-1), G (cocopeat + EC 1.5-1), H ( cocopeat + EC 2.5-1), I (cocopeat + EC 3.5-1), J (sawdust + EC 1.5-1), K (sawdust + EC 2.5-1), L ( sawdust + EC 3.5-1) with repeated 3 times. The results showed that the combination of organic growing media and EC value of the nutrient significantly affected the parameters of plant height, leaf number, root length, fresh weight, marketable weight, and leaf area of ​​Broadbeaked mustard (Brassica narinosa L.H. Bailey) pagoda variety in hydroponic wick system. Treatment I (cocopeat + EC 3.5-1 gave the highest yield on an average fresh weight of 187.08 g, a marketable weight of 141.08 g.

Abstract

Celery is a group of leafy vegetables that has many benefits. Efforts to cultivate urban plants are increasingly difficult. This is due to land conversion that is occurring on a large scale from agricultural land to residential and industrial areas. Therefore we need other alternatives for farming which can be done in narrow and limited land, one of which is by using a hydroponic cultivation system. The purpose of this study was to obtain the type of planting media and nutrient solution that gave the highest yield growth for celery (Apium graveolens L.) Amigo varieties in the hydroponic wick system. This research was conducted at the Taiwan Technichal Mission (TTM) Greenhouse located on Jl. Tanjungpura Circle, Karangpawitan, Kec. West Karawang., Karawang, West Java 41315. This research was conducted from March to April 2023. The research method used was an experimental method using a factorial Randomized Block Design (RBD), which consisted of 9 treatments repeated 3 times. The first factor is the planting medium consists of 3 levels, namely m1 (cocopeat), m2 (hydroton) and m3 (rockwool). The second factor consisted of 3 levels, namely n0 (AB mix), n1 (POC of rabbit urine) and n2 (NPK pearl + gandasil-d). The results showed that there was no interaction effect between the types of growing media and the types of nutrients. However, there is an independent influence between the type of growing media and the type of nutrition. In the treatment of rockwool growing media (m3) it was able to give the highest yield of plant height, number of leaves and leaf area. In the treatment of the type of nutrition AB mix (n0) gave the highest results on leaf area, fresh weight per plot and yield of fresh weight per plant. Keywords: growing media, celery, nutrition

Abstract

Pagoda mustard (Brassica narinosa) is a plant that can be cultivated hydroponically. Hydroponics can be applied by people who have limited planting land, taking into account the dosage of the AB Mix nutrient concentration and the type of wick used. This study aims to obtain the best concentration of AB Mix on each type of axis on the growth and yield of pagoda mustard (Brassica narinosa) using the wick system hydroponic method. The research was conducted on Ciantra Village, South Cikarang District, Bekasi Regency, West Java. This study lasted for 2 months starting from November to December 2022. The research method used in this study was a factorial Randomized Block Design (RBD) experimental method consisting of 2 factors and 3 replications. The first factor with 3 levels, namely the concentration of AB Mix nutrients n1 (1000 ppm), n2 (1200 ppm), and n3 (1400 ppm) while the second factor with 3 levels, namely the type of axis s1 (flannel wick), s2 (stove wick), and s3 (coconut coir). To find out the best treatment and continued with further test (Duncan Multiple Range Test) DMRT level of 5%. The results showed that there was an interaction between the concentration of AB Mix nutrients and the type of axis on the number of leaves 7 HST and economic fresh weight. Treatment of the nutrient concentration AB Mix n3 (1400 ppm) on the type of axis s1 (flannel wick) gave the best average economic fresh weight of 48,42 grams. Keywords: Pagoda, Wick System Hydroponics, AB Mix Nutrient Concentration, Wick Type

Abstract

Mushroom is one type of mushroom that is quite widely known by the people of Indonesia. This straw mushroom is included in the agricultural commodity of horticultural crops where the economic value is quite high. The current problems of mushroom cultivation are straw mushroom seeds, straw mushroom growing media, and rice straw harvesting techniques. The purpose of this study was to compare the characteristics of the mushroom (Volvariella volvaceae) on straw media with different harvesting methods (gebot, combine¸ and trasher). The research was conducted in a farmer's straw mushroom house located in Pasir Buah Hamlet, Pasirmulya Village, Majalaya District, Karawang Regency. In November-December 2022. The research method used was a single factor Randomized Block Design (RBD) with 3 replications. There are 12 treatments, namely A (Gebot 100%), B (Combine 100%), C (Trasher 100%), D (Gebot 50% + Combine 50%), E (Gebot 50% + Trasher 50%), F (Combine 50% + Trasher 50%), G (Gebot 75% + Combine 25%), H (Gebot 75% + Trasher 25%), I (Combine 75% + Trasher 25%), J (Gebot 25% + Trasher 75%) K (Combine 75% + Trasher 25%), L (Trasher 75% + Combine 25%). The effect of treatment was analyzed by analysis of variance and if the F test at 5% level was significant, then to find out which treatment was the best, it was continued with the DMRT follow-up test (Duncan Multiple Range Test) at the level of 5%. There was a significant effect on the number of fruit bodies, body weight per fruit tray, and fruit body weight from the productivity test of G3 FP005 mushroom seeds with media combine 75% + trasher 25% can be used as a reference material for the growth of straw mushroom, because it has better results than other treatments for the growth and development of straw mushroom. Keywords:G3 Faperta Isolate, Straw Mushroom, Straw Harvesting Method

Abstract

Hydroponic system is a system of agricultural cultivation using water containing nutrients for plant growth, hydroponics can be done on a narrow land or in the yard. This study aims to obtain the type of planting media and the type of AB Mix dosage that gives the highest results on the growth and yield of Curly Mustard (Brassica juncea l.) Samhong King variety in the hydroponic wick system. This experiment was conducted in the greenhouse of Taiwan Technical Mission at Tanjungpura Ring Road, Karangpawitan, West Karawang District, Karawang Regency, West Java Province, from February to April 2023.The research method used was experimental method using factorial Randomized Group Design (RAK). There are 2 factors consisting of 16 treatments. The first factor is the type of planting media consisting of 4 levels, namely M0 (Rockwool), M1 (Cocofiber), M2 (Sawdust) and M3 (Husk Charcoal). The second factor is the type of AB Mix dosage which consists of 4 levels, namely D0 (1000 ppm), D1 (1100 ppm), D2 (1200 ppm) and D3 (1300 ppm). Each experiment was repeated 3 times so that a total of 48 experimental units were obtained. The results showed that there was an interaction effect between the type of planting media and the type of AB Mix dosage on the number of leaves at the age of 28 hst on curly mustard greens (Brassica juncea L.) Samhong King variety in the hydroponic wick system. At the level of planting media m1 cocofiber, the optimal type of fertilizer is a dose of AB Mix d3 1300 ppm with a fresh weight of 153.59 g. It gives the highest yield on planting media m1 cocofiber with a yield of 186.87 g. The highest yield is at the level of planting media m1 cocofiber.

Abstract

                                                       ABSTRACTSpinach is a leafy vegetable that is highly nutritious and is loved by all levels of society, and has unique and beneficial properties for health. response of red spinach (Amaranthus tricolor L.). This research was carried out for one month, from September to October 2022 at Maura Farm which is located at Jalan Bawang Tengah RT 02 RW 06 Pedurenan Mustika Jaya, Bekasi City, West Java, Indonesia. The research method used was an experimental method with a factorial randomized block design (RAK). The number of treatments was 12, each of which was repeated 3 times so that there were 36 experimental units. The treatments tested were m0 (Rockwool), m1 (chaff charcoal), m2 (Cotton), m3 (Hydroton), p1 (1,000 ppm), p2 (1,250 ppm), p3 (1,500 ppm). The results showed that there was a significant effect between the administration of various different concentrations of Hydro J liquid fertilizer on the yield of red spinach (Ammaranthus tricolor L) Mira 285 variety. Keywords: Red Spinach, Floating Raft, Organic Growing Media. ABSTRAK Bayam  merupakan bahan sayuran daun yang bergizi tinggi dan digemari oleh semua lapisan masyarakat, serta memiliki keunikan dan khasiat yang baik untuk kesehatan.. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan konsentrasi dari larutan AB Mix terbaik pada setiap jenis media tanam organik yang memberikan pengaruh terbaik terhadap respon tanaman bayam merah (Amaranthus  tricolor L.). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan selama satu bulan yaitu bulan September hingga Oktober 2022 di Maura Farm yang berlokasi di Jalan Bawang Tengah RT 02 RW 06 Pedurenan Mustika Jaya, Kota Bekasi Jawa Barat, Indonesia. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eskperimental dengan rancangan lingkungan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) Faktorial. Jumlah perlakuan sebanyak 12 yang masing - masing diulang sebanyak 3 kali sehingga terdapat 36 unit percobaan. Perlakuan yang diuji yaitu m0 (Rockwool), m1 (Arang sekam), m2 (Kapas), m3 (Hydroton), p1 (1.000 ppm), p2 (1.250 ppm), p3 (1.500 ppm). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Terdapat pengaruh nyata antara pemberian berbagai konsentrasi berbeda akibat pupuk cair Hydro J terhadap hasil tanaman bayam merah (Ammaranthus tricolor L) varietas Mira 285. Kata Kunci : Bayam Merah, Rakit Apung, Media Tanam Organik.

Abstract

Hydroponics is a planting system in agriculture that uses a mixture of water and nutrient solutions as a growth medium to replace the role of soil in meeting nutrient needs and uses non-soil growing media as a planting technique. Hydroponic wick system is one of the hydroponics that uses the working principle of water capillary action by using the axis as an intermediary for the rise of water from the nutrient container to the plant root area. The research method used was the experimental method using a factorial Randomized Block Design (RBD). There are 2 factors consisting of 16 treatments. The first factor is the type of wick which consists of 4 levels, namely Flannel, Wool, Stove Wick and. The second factor was the type of planting medium which consisted of 4 levels, namely Rockwool, Cocopeat,  Hydroton and Sewdust. Each experiment was repeated 3 times so that a total of 48 experimental units were obtained. The experimental results showed that there was an interaction effect between the type of axis and the planting medium on plant height at 35 and 40 days after planting and number of leaves at 7, 14, 21 and 28 days after planting curly mustard greens (Brassica juncea L.) Samhong King variety in hydroponic wick system. In the flannel axis type, the optimal planting media type is cocopeat planting media with a fresh weight yield of 282,13 g giving the highest yield on the flannel axis type with a yield of 187,84 g.

Abstract

The factor that causes low production of apple cucumbers is the use of seeds and seedlings that are not of good quality. This study aims to determine the effect of AB Mix nutrition on apple cucumber (Cucumis sp.) seedlings hydroponically with a floating raft system. The experiment was carried out at the screen house on Jln. Gang Sejarah, Dusun Kalijaya 1 Rt003/Rw009 North Rengasdengklok Village, Rengasdengklok District, Karawang Regency starting in February 2024. This research method was used using an experimental method using a single-factor Group Random Design (RAK) with 5 treatments that were repeated 5 (five) times, namely: A (0PPM) as control, B (320 PPM), C (640 PPM), D (960 PPM) and (1280 PPM). The effect of the treatment was analyzed using the F test at the 5% level, so to find out the best treatment was to continue with the LSD follow-up test (DMRT) at the 5% level. The results of the study showed that the provision of 640 PPM nutrition had a real effect on the growth synchronicity, plant height, stem diameter, number of leaves, fresh weight, growth success and leaf area. Keywords : apple cucumbers, nurseries, hydroponics

Abstract

Shallots (Allium ascalonicum L.) is one of the horticultural crop commodities that is widely consumed. One factor to overcome the level of soil fertility is by providing sufficient fertilizer to restore soil fertility. Fertilizer is the main source of nutrients which are very important for plant growth and yields. This research aims to determine the response of shallot plants (Allium ascalonicum L.) to the application of nitrate-based NPK fertilizer. This trial will be carried out at the PT Pupuk Kujang Cikampek Screenhouse, from October to December 2023. This research used the Completely Randomized Design (CRD) method. There are 6 treatments, namely P0 (control), P1 (Nitrea Urea 0.4g + Phonska 15-10-12 0.6g + NPK Merauke 0.6g + KCl 0.2g), P2 (Nitrea Urea 0.4g + Phonska 15 -10-12 0.6g + NPK Nitroku 0.6g + KCl 0.2g), P3 (Nitrea Urea 0.4g + Phonska 15-10-12 0.6g + NPK 10-10-10 0.6g + KCl 0 .2g), P4 (Nitrea Urea 0.4g + Phonska 15-10-12 0.6g + NPK 10-10-10 0.8g + KCl 0.2g), P5 (Nitrea Urea 0.4g + Phonska 15-10 -12 0.6g + NPK 10-10-10 1g + KCl 0.2g). Each treatment was repeated 4 times to obtain 24 experimental units. The experimental results showed that the application of nitrate-based NPK fertilizer was not able to have a real effect on the growth and yield of shallot plants (Allium ascalonicum L.) for all observations.
