Abstract

Pokdarwis Sei. Jingah, Banjarmasin sudah berdiri sejak 2017. Dalam beberapa tahun terakhir banyak prestasi yang diraih oleh pengrajin Sasirangan di kampung Sei. Jingah. Namun, semenjak didirikan, pokdarwis belum memiliki program kerja yang terencana, terukur dan sitematis, sehingga kebermanfaatan Pokdarwis kurang terasa bagi sebagian pengrajin yang ada. Umumnya kegiatan dilaksanakan secara insedental, sehingga sulit untuk pengajuan dan realisasi anggaran. Melihat kondisi tersebut, tim PPK Ormawa Arsitektur Mimar Sinan, Universitas Muhammadiyah Banjarmasin berinisiasi untuk melaksanakan pelatihan dan pendampingan pengelolaan dan perencanaan program kerja Pokdarwis. Adapun kegiatan tersebut dilaksanakan melalui metode forum grup diskusi untuk menjaring masukkan dan ide-ide pengurus terkait pengelolaan dan program kerja yang dilaksanakan. Pada akhir kegiatan, disepakati program kerja yang akan dilaksanakan pada tahun 2024 dan dimungkinkan untuk dilaksanakan secara berkelanjutan

Abstract

Pemberlakuan Surat Tanda Registrasi (STR) seumur hidup bagi tenaga kesehatan merupakan salah satu kebijakan baru yang diatur dalam Undang-Undang Nomor 17 Tahun 2023 tentang Kesehatan. Kebijakan ini bertujuan untuk menyederhanakan proses administrasi tenaga kesehatan, mengurangi beban finansial, serta meningkatkan efisiensi dalam praktik pelayanan kesehatan. Artikel ini meninjau kebijakan STR seumur hidup dengan menganalisis dasar hukum, implikasi praktis, dan tantangan implementasi, seperti sistem pengawasan dan pemeliharaan kompetensi tenaga kesehatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode yuridis normatif dengan pendekatan perundang-undangan dan analisis dokumen. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun kebijakan STR seumur hidup memiliki potensi manfaat besar, keberhasilannya sangat bergantung pada pelaksanaan sistem evaluasi berkala yang efektif untuk menjaga profesionalisme tenaga kesehatan.

Abstract

Mental health can affect language learning outcomes as it impacts students’ ability to focus, process information, and retain knowledge. Stress, anxiety, and depression can adversely affect a student’s language learning abilities. Thus, providing mental health counseling can effectively promote students’ mental well-being and improve their language learning outcomes. The activities promoted mental well-being, Enhanced language learning outcomes, Improved communication skills, Encouraged community engagement, and Developed life skills. The activities method implements the offline seminar. A seminar can still be a valuable delivery method for introducing these topics and raising awareness among students, teachers, and the wider community. It can be a platform for discussion and engagement, allowing students to ask questions and share their thoughts and experiences. The results and outcomes are that students who receive mental health counseling may experience improvements in their mental health and well-being. They may develop better-coping mechanisms, improved self-awareness, and greater emotional resilience. Additionally, they may become more proficient in using technology to learn languages and gain greater exposure to and understanding of informal English vocabulary. Students with better mental health, language, and communication skills may be more successful in their studies and better prepared for future academic and professional endeavors. The activities can be far-reaching, affecting students’ mental health, language learning, communication skills, engagement and participation in school, and academic performance.

Abstract

Effective cash flow management serves as a fundamental pillar in the financial administration of computer laboratories, particularly those facing limited funds and high transaction volumes. This study seeks to develop a web-based cash flow information system employing modern frameworks such as Laravel and Vue.js. The system is designed to accurately record, monitor, and analyze financial transactions in real-time. Its purpose is to streamline financial reporting, enhance transparency, and reduce the likelihood of manual recording errors. The Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Waterfall model guides the system's development, with validation performed via black-box testing. The implementation demonstrates that the MVC architecture in Laravel and the use of Vue.js for the user interface offer significant flexibility and scalability for subsequent system enhancements. This research contributes to the digitalization of financial governance within educational institutions, leveraging open and easily deployable technology.

Abstract

This abdimas activities partnered with the SMK Media Informatika which is located at Jl. Sustainable 2 No. 99 Petukangan Selatan Deplu Complex Pesanggrahan South Jakarta 12270. The partners problems are Scheduling subjects still done manually, understanding of mobile programming such as interface design (UI/UX), database design and the technicalities of making Android programs which are still not yet in-depth from each teacher. This problem was overcome through this community service activity in the form of using an Android application for scheduling school subjects, namely providing training to teachers on designing the Android application interface (UI/UX), designing the required database and how to make the scheduling Android application. This activity was carried out face to face at the SMK Media Informatika. From the results of the evaluation questionnaire for the implementation of this activity, 100% of participants stated that this activity was useful, easy to understand, ran effectively and met expectations. So it can be concluded that this activity can provide solutions to the problems experienced by partners.

Abstract

English language learning plays a crucial role in today’s globalized world, and the integration of technology, particularly chatbots, has shown promise in enhancing language learning experiences. However, there is a noticeable gap in the literature regarding the application of chatbots in the specific context of Indonesia University. This research employs a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative and qualitative data collection methods. A sample of 100 students from Indonesia University participated in pre-test and post-test assessments to measure language development. Additionally, the accuracy of students’ self-assessments was evaluated before and after using ChatGPT. The main findings of this study indicate that personalized feedback provided by ChatGPT significantly influenced students’ language development, as evidenced by the notable improvement in post-test scores. Furthermore, there was a considerable increase in self-assessment accuracy after students engaged with ChatGPT, demonstrating the effectiveness of personalized feedback in enhancing students’ ability to evaluate their language proficiency. Participants reported that ChatGPT facilitated language learning by providing interactive feedback and targeted guidance, allowing learners to practice and improve their language skills at their own pace. English language learners perceive benefits such as interactive feedback, increased motivation, and resource accessibility. While challenges exist, the advantages outweigh the limitations. These findings contribute to understanding the potential of chatbots, specifically ChatGPT, as effective language learning tools in self-directed learning environments. This finding offers valuable insights for educators and practitioners in implementing chatbots effectively within language pedagogy, ultimately contributing to more effective and engaging English language learning experiences in the Indonesian university context.

Abstract

This study investigates the effectiveness of ChatGPT and Grammarly as AI-powered tools for providing corrective feedback and supporting academic writing development among English as a Foreign Language (EFL) university students. A mixed-methods quasi-experimental design was employed, involving 300 participants divided into two experimental groups: one using ChatGPT and the other using Grammarly, over a four-week intervention period. Data were collected through perception questionnaires, writing tasks, grammar correction accuracy analysis, and student reflection journals. Descriptive statistics and paired samples t-tests indicated that students perceived ChatGPT to be more effective in improving grammar, increasing confidence, and enhancing understanding of grammar rules. Simultaneously, both tools were similarly rated in terms of clarity of feedback. The Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test revealed that ChatGPT significantly outperformed Grammarly in terms of correction accuracy across most grammar categories. A Chi-square test of independence confirmed a statistically significant association between tool use and correction performance according to error type. Thematic analysis of student reflections identified five key themes: awareness of grammar rules, writing confidence, vocabulary and style, motivation to improve, and learning autonomy. ChatGPT was more closely associated with deeper learning and critical engagement, whereas Grammarly was valued for quick, surface-level corrections. Overall, the findings suggest that while both tools contribute to EFL writing development, ChatGPT offers greater pedagogical value through its interactive and explanatory feedback, making it a more effective tool for fostering writing improvement and learner autonomy in academic contexts.
