Abstract

Abstract— Politeknik Jambi is the only Vocational College in the Province of Jambi. As an institution of higher education, Politeknik Jambi has employees, lecturers, and staff who require effective and efficient payroll data management. However, the current system in use has expired its contract and is still under development, resulting in financial staff facing difficulties in managing employee payroll data. This drawback includes the absence of features such as summary report availability, payroll slip printing, and the use of a traditional database that is vulnerable to data loss. This research aims to design and build an effective and efficient payroll information system, and implement it in a web-based environment at Politeknik Jambi. Data collection methods involve observation, interviews, and documentation, with the Software Development Life Cycle approach. The results include a payroll information system that enhances the efficiency of payroll management, the implementation of a web-based system to improve accessibility to payroll data, and the expectation that this system will facilitate the work of Politeknik Jambi employees. Thus, the implementation of the payroll information system is expected to improve the effectiveness of payroll administration and information accessibility. Keywords— Payroll Information System, Web-Based Development, Payroll Management, SDLC. Abstrak— Politeknik Jambi merupakan satu-satunya Perguruan Tinggi Vokasi di Provinsi Jambi. Sebagai Perguruan Tinggi, Politeknik Jambi juga memiliki karyawan, dosen, dan staf yang membutuhkan pengelolaan data penggajian yang efektif dan efisien. Akan tetapi, sistem digunakan yang telah habis masa kontrak dan masih dalam pengembangan, akibatnya pegawai keuangan menghadapi kesulitan dalam pengelolaan data penggajian karyawan. Kelemahan ini mencakup tidak tersedianya fitur rekap laporan, cetak slip gaji, dan penggunaan database tradisional yang rentan kehilangan data. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang dan membangun sistem informasi payroll yang efektif dan efisien, serta mengimplementasikannya secara berbasis web di lingkungan Politeknik Jambi. Metode pengumpulan data melibatkan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, dengan pendekatan Software Development Life Cycle. Hasilnya mencakup sistem informasi payroll yang meningkatkan efisiensi penanganan penggajian, implementasi sistem berbasis web untuk meningkatkan aksesibilitas data penggajian, dan harapan bahwa sistem ini akan memberikan kemudahan dalam kinerja pegawai Politeknik Jambi. Dengan demikian, implementasi sistem informasi payroll diharapkan dapat meningkatkan efektivitas administrasi penggajian dan aksesibilitas informasi. Abstract

Abstract—Politeknik Jambi is a higher education institution in the province of Jambi, which employs staff, including faculty and administrative personnel. In performing their duties, administrative staff require objective and accurate performance evaluations. Performance evaluations are conducted through performance assessments to support the functional position of lecturers at Politeknik Jambi. However, the current practice still relies on Microsoft Excel, posing limitations with database facilities that slow down the search for employee performance data and increase the potential for errors. This research aims to analyze and design a web-based Performance Appraisal Information System (SKP) for the functional position of lecturers Politeknik Jambi. Data collection methods involve observation, interviews, and documentation, utilizing the Software Development Life Cycle approach. The results show that the system's implementation successfully overcomes the limitations of Microsoft Excel, improves the accuracy of performance assessment recordings, and supports transparency through efficient report generation. The implementation of the SKP Information System is expected to enhance lecturer performance and the effectiveness of performance assessment management at Politeknik Jambi . Abstrak— Politeknik Jambi adalah lembaga pendidikan tinggi di Provinsi Jambi, yang memiliki karyawan, termasuk dosen dan pegawai administratif. Dalam menjalankan tugasnya, pegawai administratif memerlukan evaluasi kinerja yang objektif dan akurat. Evaluasi dilakukan dengan penilaian kinerja untuk menunjang jabatan fungsional Dosen Politeknik Jambi. Namun, saat ini kegiatan tersebut masih menggunakan Microsoft Excel, dengan kendala keterbatasan fasilitas database yang memperlambat pencarian data kinerja dan meningkatkan potensi kesalahan. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis dan merancang Sistem Informasi Penilaian Sasaran Kinerja Pegawai (SKP) Berbasis Web untuk Jabatan Fungsional Dosen Politeknik Jambi. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, menggunakan pendekatan Software Development Life Cycle. Hasilnya menunjukkan implementasi sistem berhasil mengatasi keterbatasan Microsoft Excel, meningkatkan akurasi pencatatan penilaian kinerja, dan mendukung transparansi melalui pembuatan laporan yang efisien. Penerapan Sistem Informasi SKP diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kinerja dosen dan efektivitas pengelolaan penilaian kinerja di Politeknik Jambi. Abstract

MSMEs play a crucial role in the nation's economy. Curation supports the performance of the MSME Department in mapping MSMEs in Jambi City. The problem with curation, which still relies on a manual system, hampers the Department's performance in conducting curation, impacting the efficiency of MSMEs in Jambi City. This issue clearly requires resolution. The aim of this study is to assess the accuracy of classifying MSME products in Jambi City. The machine learning method used in this study is the K-Nearest Neighbors (K-NN) algorithm. Based on the evaluation results of the K-Nearest Neighbors (K-NN) algorithm, the K-NN model demonstrated the best performance with an accuracy of 95% and a precision of 94%. ABSTRAKUMKM memainkan peran penting dalam penting dalam perekonomian bangsa. Kurasi menjadi hal yang menunjang kinerja Dinas UMKM dalam memetakan UMKM di Kota Jambi.  Permasalahan Kurasi yang masih menggunakan sistem manual menghambat kinerja Dinas UMKM dalam melakukan kurasi sehingga berdampak pada efisiensi UMKM di Kota Jambi. Hal ini tentunya merupakan permasalahan yang harus diselesaikan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui akurasi dari klasifikasikan produk UMKM Kota Jambi. Metode data machine learning yang peneliti gunakan adalah algoritma K-Nearest Neighbors (K-NN). Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi algoritma K-Nearest Neighbors (K-NN),  Model K-NN menunjukkan performa terbaik dengan accuracy 95% dan  precision 94%.

Abstract

Abstract

Politeknik Jambi is the only Vocational College in Jambi Province. Lecturers at Politeknik Jambi require effective and efficient employee performance data processing, but still rely on Microsoft Excel. One of Excel's weaknesses is its inability to display data according to access rights, especially when used by three different parties: lecturers, assessors, and administrative staff. This research aims to design a user interface for an employee performance target information system for functional lecturer positions based on web platforms at Politeknik Jambi, using data collection methods such as observation, interviews, and documentation with a Software Development Life Cycle approach. It is hoped that this design will facilitate the work of lecturers at Politeknik Jambi and improve the effectiveness of the performance assessment system as well as information accessibility

Abstract

Politeknik Jambi, sebagai satu-satunya Perguruan Tinggi Vokasi di Provinsi Jambi, perlu mengelola penilaian kinerja pegawai dengan efektif dan efisien. Dalam rangka ini, penelitian ini bertujuan meningkatkan akurasi dan kecepatan pengolahan data kinerja pegawai melalui penerapan sistem informasi penilaian SKP di Politeknik Jambi. Pengumpulan data melibatkan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi untuk merancang sistem kinerja pegawai. Pendekatan Waterfall digunakan dalam pengembangan sistem untuk memastikan langkah-langkah berurutan dan evaluasi yang memungkinkan perbaikan jika diperlukan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi sistem informasi penilaian kinerja pegawai berhasil menjamin keakuratan data dan menyediakan akses mudah terhadap informasi kinerja pegawai. Kesimpulan menyatakan bahwa sistem ini memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap efisiensi, akurasi, dan aksesibilitas informasi kinerja pegawai di lingkungan Politeknik Jambi.

Abstract

Digital transformation offers farmer groups new ways to strengthen administrative governance, yet financial records are often kept manually and without standardized procedures. This community service program aimed to improve farmer groups' digital financial literacy through training on the Farmers' Budgeting System Application and to examine its initial effects on record-keeping orderliness, transparency, and the efficiency of cash recapitulation. Using a pre-experimental one-group pre-test–post-test design, we conducted a participatory, hands-on training session with 11 participants in a face-to-face setting at Politeknik Jambi. Data were collected via a pre/post knowledge test, an operational skills checklist, and a perception questionnaire. Participants' mean knowledge score increased from 46.55 (pre-test) to 82.45 (post-test), and most participants mastered core functions for entering income and expense transactions and generating summary reports for recapitulation. Early outcomes included faster administration, neater and better-documented records, and more transparent cash reporting. We conclude that application-based training can rapidly raise digital financial literacy and improve basic financial governance in farmer groups. This program contributes a practical, replicable training model and preliminary evidence supporting the use of digital record-keeping tools to strengthen community-based financial management.

Abstract

Abstrak: Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan pada POKTAN Mayang Mandiri, sebuah kelompok tani yang beranggotakan 11 orang dan berlokasi di Kota Jambi. Program ini bertujuan meningkatkan efisiensi kerja dan kemampuan manajerial petani melalui penerapan teknologi tepat guna dan sistem pencatatan keuangan berbasis aplikasi. Permasalahan utama mitra meliputi keterbatasan alat bantu pertanian dan lemahnya administrasi keuangan yang masih dilakukan secara manual. Solusi yang ditawarkan berupa pelatihan penggunaan aplikasi Sistem Budgeting Petani serta pengenalan dan pemanfaatan alat bantu pertanian seperti alat angkut dan pelubang tanah. Metode pelaksanaan mencakup pelatihan, demonstrasi, serah terima alat, serta monitoring dan evaluasi. Peningkatan keterampilan mitra diukur menggunakan sistem evaluasi berbasis observasi dan wawancara terstruktur. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada pemahaman peserta terhadap pencatatan keuangan digital, di mana 73% anggota mampu menggunakan aplikasi secara mandiri. Selain itu, pemanfaatan alat bantu pertanian mampu meningkatkan efisiensi pengolahan lahan hingga 30%. Tingkat kepuasan mitra mencapai 91,5%, menandakan bahwa program ini efektif dan relevan dalam mendukung produktivitas serta kemandirian kelompok tani.Abstract: This community service activity was carried out at POKTAN Mayang Mandiri, a farmer group with 11 members located in Jambi City. This program aims to improve work efficiency and managerial skills of farmers through the implementation of appropriate technology and an application-based financial recording system. The main problems faced by partners include limited agricultural tools and weak financial administration, which is still carried out manually. The solution offered was training on the use of the Farmer Budgeting System application and an introduction to and utilization of agricultural tools such as transport equipment and soil drills. The implementation method included training, demonstrations, tool handover, and monitoring and evaluation. Improvement in partner skills was measured using an observation-based evaluation system and structured interviews. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in participants' understanding of digital financial recording, with 73% of members able to use the application independently. In addition, the use of agricultural tools was able to increase land cultivation efficiency by up to 30%. The partner satisfaction rate reached 91.5%, indicating that this program is effective and relevant in supporting the productivity and independence of farmer groups.
