Abstract

The Indonesia’s 10 MW experimental power reactor (RDE) is developed based on high temperature gas-cooled reactor (HTGR) and the program of the RDE was firstly introduced to the Agency for National Development Planning (BAPPENAS) at the beginning of 2014. The RDE program is expected to have positive impacts on community prosperity, self-reliance and sovereignty of Indonesia. The availability of RDE will be able to accelerate advanced nuclear power technology development and hence elevate Indonesia to be the nuclear champion in the ASEAN region. The RDE is expected to be operable in 2022/2023. In terms of fuel supply for the reactor, the first batch of RDE fuel will be inclusive in the RDE engineering, procurement and construction (RDE-EPC) contract for the assurance of the RDE reactor operation from 2023 to 2027. Consideration of RDE fuel plant construction is important as RDE can be the basis for the development of reactors of similar type with small-medium power (25 MWe–200/300 MWe), which are preferable for eastern part of Indonesia. To study the feasibility of the construction of RDE fuel plant, current state of the art of the R&D on HTGR fuel in some advanced countries such as European countries, the United States, South Africa and Japan will be discussed and overviewed to draw a conclusion about the prospective countries for supporting the fuel for long-term RDE operation. The strategy and roadmap for the preparation of the RDE fuel plant construction with the involvement of national stakeholders have been developed. The best possible vendor country to support HTGR fuel for long-term operation is finally accomplished. In the end, this paper can be assigned as a reference for the planning and construction of HTGR RDE fuel fabrication plant in Indonesia.Keywords: RDE, Indonesia, HTGR, fuel, strategy.

Abstract

Every computer device connected to a wide computer network is vulnerable to security risks. These threats encompass vulnerabilities to data, information, resources, and services within the system. These threats include intrusion, eavesdropping, theft of vital data, as well as damage to the network system. These actions are carried out by parties who are not accountable, commonly referred to as intruders or attackers. One method to prevent or anticipate these malicious actions is by utilizing the honeyd Honeypot technique. The honeyd Honeypot adopts a low-interaction approach, which involves indirect interaction with attackers. This Honeypot serves as a decoy or simulated server intentionally presented as a target for attacks. The purpose of this Honeypot is to detect and analyze ongoing attacks. In this research, the honeyd Honeypot is implemented as a simulated server resembling an authentic server. This server provides various services and opens several ports deliberately prepared as attack targets, such as Port 139, and Port 21.The results of this research unveil the existence of attacks. Signs of these attacks include a surge in network traffic, reaching up to 100 Megabits above the normal level. Another indicator is a sudden spike in CPU usage, reaching 100%. The activities of these attacks can be analyzed through the installed Wireshark application on the Honeypot server. Information obtained from this analysis encompasses details about the attacker's activities, enabling more effective preventive, anticipatory, and corrective measures. These steps encompass securing the server, network system, and existing services.

Abstract

Kinerja Keuangan UMKM Canting Buana Kreatif terletak di Padang Panjang, Sumatera Barat secara kinerja kurang memadai dilihat dari pekembangan dan pendapatan perusahaan terlihat perkembangannya kurang meyakinkan. Penerapan Financial Management System (QRIS) dalam peningkatan pendapatan UMKM Canting Buana Kreatif Padang Panjang, Sumatera Barat dalam upaya Peningkatan peningkatan pendapatan UMKM Canting Buana Kreatif Padang Panjang, Sumatera Barat, yaitu dengan Memberikan pelatihan dan pengetahuan secara praktis ilmu manajemen dalam Penerapan financial management system (QRIS). Metode yang digunakan adalah metode survey dan penyampaian materi secara langsung serta simulasi dan diskusi mengenai manajemen bisnis, pengelolaan keuangan dalam upaya meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat pesisir.Pengabdian ini berjudul Penerapan Financial Management System (QRIS) dalam peningkatan pendapatan UMKM Canting Buana Kreatif Padang Panjang, Sumatera Barat adalah Memberikan pelatihan dan pengetahuan secara praktis ilmu Financial Management System (QRIS). Abstract

Conference management is one of the core business processes at the Research and Community Service Institute (LPPM) and it is conducted by online. The problem is the lack of a business process model for conference management, hence the committee had not a clear understanding of its activities. Furthermore, there has been no evaluation of the business processes, leading to unidentified weaknesses in the activities. The purpose of this research is to map and summarize the business processes using Business Process Management (BPM). BPM proves to be suitable for achieving the research objectives as it focuses on process approaches and provides tools and techniques to enhance the quality of conference management. The analysis employs qualitative process analysis with Value-Added Analysis and Root-Cause Analysis using the Why-Why Diagram approach to identify the root causes of issues and propose improvement measures for each business process. The research methodology used is qualitative with data collection technique involving interview, observation, and literature studies. The business process modeling adopts the Business Process Modelling Notation (BPMN). The research outcome presented a to-be process model that illustrated the recommended conference management business process which consisting of 7 main business processes, 27 sub-processes, 21 activities, and 200 tasks.

Abstract

Research for the International Community Service (PKM-I) was carried out to formulate strategies and programs for the development of Jepara's Troso Naviza Ikat Woven Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). Strategies need to be implemented to develop MSMEs, including by increasing the capabilities of related human resources. There is then a need to create various innovative products and carry out digital promotional strategies, so that MSME products can go global. The Magister Management Study Program (MM Program) together with the Syah Alam Polytechnic (PSA) Selangor Malaysia on 24-27 September 2024 conducted PKM-I with these MSMEs. The initial study stated that these MSMEs had problems regarding the lack of quantity of sales of ikat weaving exports abroad. Apart from that, these MSMEs need to improve their human resources capabilities to increase their ability to export products abroad and there is still a lack of understanding of digital promotion using IoT (Internet of Things) and MIS (Management Information System). In addition, human resource development is needed to expand product export penetration abroad. During PKM-I, a directing method was carried out using IoT and MIS for digital product promotion and human resource development as well as evaluating the results of PKM-I that had been implemented. It is hoped that all Troso Jepara Ikat Weaving MSME business players will master the strategic matters of exporting ikat weaving abroad based on MIS and IoT. This is also specifically related to digital marketing as well as human resource development. Indeed, these MSMEs will be able to expand product export penetration abroad in the near future.

Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs, UMKM) have an important role in improving the family's economy in Pondok Petir Village, called “Cireng Village”, Bojongsari District, Depok City. In this Community Service (PKM) activity, a very relevant title of Utilization of Social Media to Promote a Business in Marketplace was raised. A lot of very suitable products are ready for Internet publication, such as, various kinds of chips, drinks, herbs, honey, groceries and cireng. Here, business actors are still doing it conventionally and have not made much use of technology, especially the internet. The products owned by MSME business actors are then not widely known by customers. PKM of Magister for Informatics Engineering UNPAM was finally carried out and hence Pondok Petir Village MSMEs can increase their product sales. Indeed, many MSMEs are finally expected to become reliable business actors not only locally, but also nationally and internationally.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis sentimen pengguna kendaraan listrik dengan menggunakan tiga algoritma klasifikasi machine learning, yaitu Naïve Bayes, Decision Tree, dan K-Nearest Neighbors. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini diambil dari platform media sosial Twitter yang dikenal dengan jumlah data yang besar dan beragam. Objek penelitian adalah opini publik yang diungkapkan di Twitter, dengan subjek berupa tweet yang dikumpulkan menggunakan Twitter API, menghasilkan 2000 data, dengan 1869 data bersih setelah preprocessing. Analisis data meliputi ekstraksi teks dan preprocessing, yang mencakup pembersihan data, tokenisasi, penghilangan stopword, dan stemming. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan distribusi sentimen sebagai berikut: sentimen netral mendominasi dengan 53.5% dari total tweet, diikuti sentimen positif sebesar 35.8%, dan sentimen negatif sebesar 10.7%. Di antara model yang diuji, Decision Tree dengan embedding TF/IDF menunjukkan kinerja terbaik, mencapai akurasi 66%, sedangkan Decision Tree dengan embedding Word2Vec memiliki kinerja terendah dengan akurasi 46%. Sementara itu, KNN dengan embedding TF/IDF menunjukkan kinerja yang cukup baik dengan akurasi 58%, lebih tinggi dibandingkan KNN dengan embedding Word2Vec yang mencapai akurasi 57%. Naïve Bayes dengan embedding TF/IDF menghasilkan akurasi sebesar 53%, lebih tinggi dibandingkan Naïve Bayes dengan embedding Word2Vec yang memiliki akurasi 48%. Meskipun terdapat variasi di antara algoritma dan word embedding yang digunakan, tidak ada metode yang secara konsisten mengklasifikasikan sentimen di semua bidang. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi yang signifikan dalam memetakan sentimen tentang penggunaan kendaraan listrik melalui analisis data dari media sosial dan memberikan wawasan tentang efektivitas berbagai algoritma machine learning dan word embedding dalam analisis sentimen.

Abstract

Thesis guidance is a crucial stage in higher education, as the thesis is one of the primary requirements for earning a bachelor's degree. One of the main challenges in thesis guidance is managing consultation data between students and their supervisors. The application of technology and machine learning approaches offers significant potential in addressing this issue. Machine learning algorithms such as Random Forest, Gradient Boosting, and Naïve Bayes can be utilized to automatically analyze thesis guidance data, thereby assisting supervisors in efficiently monitoring student progress. This research aims not only to provide a solution for supervisors in monitoring the progress of their students but also to offer a valuable tool for university management to evaluate the performance of supervisors in providing guidance. Based on the results and comparisons conducted, it can be concluded that the Gradient Boosting method achieves the highest accuracy, reaching 100%, compared to Random Forest with an accuracy of 98.8% and Naïve Bayes with an accuracy of 97.4%. From the testing data results using the Naïve Bayes, Gradient Boosting, and Random Forest algorithms, different accuracy levels were observed. However, the prediction outcomes were consistent: out of 235 testing data, 25 data points were classified as "Not Eligible," and 210 data points were classified as "Eligible" based on the established criteria.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of learning organizations and transformational leadership on employee performance through job satisfaction at the UMARA Foundation. The approach used is quantitative with census techniques, where all 300 employees were used as respondents. Data was collected using a questionnaire with a Likert scale, which was then analyzed using Stata MP17 software. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that learning organizations and transformational leadership have a significant positive influence on job satisfaction, which shows that learning in organizations and transformational leadership can increase employee job satisfaction. Meanwhile, although learning organizations have a significant effect on employee performance through job satisfaction, transformational leadership does not show a significant effect on employee performance. In addition, job satisfaction functions as a significant mediator in the relationship between learning organization and transformational leadership on employee performance. These results indicate that to improve employee performance, companies need to focus on efforts to increase employee job satisfaction, which in turn can encourage better performance. Overall, this research emphasizes the important role of learning organizations and transformational leadership in improving employee performance through increasing job satisfaction. The suggestion that must be made is that the UMARA foundation needs to strive to improve aspects related to job satisfaction, such as, satisfaction with rewards, promotion opportunities, relationships with superiors and co-workers.

Abstract

The role of information systems is currently crucial in various fields, including education and Yayasan Aldiana Nusantara (YAN), which supports many students from low to middle economic backgrounds, faces challenges in selecting scholarship recipients for financially disadvantaged students. To assist in making accurate and swift decisions, a computer-based Decision Support System (DSS) is required. This study aims to design a web-based DSS using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) and Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) methods. This system was designed to assist Yayasan Aldiana Nusantara - YAN in selecting scholarship recipients based on criteria, such as, grade level, scholarship recipient status, father's income, mother's income, report card grades, and the number of extracurricular activities. The SAW method is used for weighting criteria, while the TOPSIS method is used to rank alternatives based on their proximity to the ideal solution. The system design follows the waterfall model, comprising analysis, design, implementation, and testing phases. The DSS is developed using PHP programming language and MySQL Database Management System. The system provides four types of access rights: administrator, jury, student, and faculty leader, ensuring security and ease of use. The test results indicate that the system has a high level of accuracy, reliability, integrity, and usability. This system also helps expedite the scholarship selection process, reduce errors in recipient determination, and facilitate the selection team in decision-making. With this DSS, YAN is able to conduct the scholarship selection process more effectively and efficiently, ensuring that aid is accurately targeted at students in need.
