Abstract

This research was conducted on junior high school students with the aim of improving mathematical reasoning abilities, student activity and student attitudes towards the application of open ended approach learning. This type of research is Classroom Action Research. The subject of this study is the eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 7 Padangsidimpuan 2017-2018 Academic Year, which are selected in class VIII-2 with a total of 24 students. The conclusions that can be drawn from this study are 1) increasing mathematical reasoning abilities through the application of mathematical learning with an open-ended approach to students of class VIII-2. The increase in students' mathematical reasoning abilities was obtained at 0.5 with the medium criteria, 2) increasing student learning activities through the application of mathematics learning with an open-ended approach to students of class VIII-2. The increase in student activity was obtained at 0.46 with moderate criteria, 3) increasing student attitudes towards mathematics through the application of mathematics learning with an open-ended approach to students of class VIII-2. The increase in student activity is 0.6 with moderate criteria.

Abstract

The study aims to determine the increase in student learning outcomes. This type of research is class action research (PTK) using a learning model of Problem Based Instruction and Make a Match.  In Cycle I show the average class earned at 63.8. The results of the final cycle II data analysis with the same learning is obtained by the average grade of 80.4. Based on the classical learning criteria, this learning has reached the target of learning. It can be concluded that through the learning model of Problem Based Instruction and Make a Match, there is an increase in student learning outcomes VIIII SMP Negeri 8 Padangsidimpuan increased. Keywords: Learning Outcomes, Learning Model Problem Based Instruction, Make a Match

Abstract

This research was conducted at the junior level students with the aim to improve the ability of the creative thinking of the students through the application of mathematical models of learning mathematics with the open ended approach. This type of research is Research Action class (Classroom Action Research), research done by the teacher in class of his own with a planned, systematic way to fix/improve the quality of practice learning in his class. As for the subject researches it is grade VII SMP Negeri Padangsidimpuan Year 7 Lesson 2017-2018, chosen was a Class VII-2 with the number of students is 22 people. Whereas the object of this research is the application of the model of learning mathematics with the open ended approach to increasing the ability of mathematical creative student berpkir is not good and needs to be fixed. Research instrument on this research will use the test engineering and non test. As for the test used was the ability of the creative thinking of the students in the form of mathematical problems such as shape description. While the test is the Non observation sheet and attitude. Based on the results and discussion in research then it can be drawn the following Conclusions 1) Increasing the ability of mathematical reasoning through the application of learning mathematics with the open ended approach on a grade VIII-2. As for the improvement of the ability of mathematical reasoning students acquired for 0.5 criteria are, and 2) based on the characteristics of the creative nature of the conformity with the students, obtained that most creative nature for compliance with students is the nature of curiosity.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of hybrid learning model to communication mathematics junior high school students. This research is a quantitative with experimental methods in the form of pure experiment types. The population were all eighth grade students at Public Junior High School 1 of Kotanopan, , Mandailing Natal Regency,North Sumatera Province in 2017/2018. The number of samples uses 37 persons as experimental class and 35 persons as control class. This research is a pure experiment using a pretest-posttest control group. In this study, the data collection method used is the testing techniques. Based on the analysis can be concluded that there is a significant effect on communications hybrid learning model mathematics junior high schoolstudent.Keywords: Hybrid Learning Model; Capability Concept Training Mathematics; Mathematical Communications Skills.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tentang Implementasi E-Learning menggunakan Google Classroom pada materi himpunan masa pandemi covid-19 di kelas VII A SMP N 9 Padangsidimpuan. Data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh dari hasil observasi yang dilakukan secara langsung dan memantau melalui Google Classroom, teknik wawancara dengan guru secara langsung dan wawancara dengan peseta didik menggunakan aplikasi Whatshapp (Video Call) dan teknik dokumentasi menggunakan Handphone dalam bentuk photo dan screenshot gambar. Setelah data diperoleh kemudian menggunakan 3 tahap yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data dan verifikasi atau penarikan kesimpulan.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, pertama dari segi perencanaan dalam Implementasi E-Learning menggunakan Google Classroom pada materi himpunan masa pandemi covid-19 yaitu menyiapkan suatu Rencana Pembelajaran Daring (RPP-D), silabus, LKPD dan juga menyiapkan suatu media pembelajaran baik itu berupa video pembelajaran, Power Point dan gambar, kedua dari segi pelaksanaan yaitu penyampaian materi, media pembelajaran dan strategi pembelajaran, ketiga dari segi evaluasi seperti biasa ada penilaian kognitif, penilaian afektif, dan penilaian psikomotor.

Abstract

The development of the era followed by technological developments also affects the learning paradigm, from conventional to modern. Technological innovation in education is increasingly sophisticated, so that subject matter can be mixed and delivered with technological advances. The current learning paradigm is more student-centered and the teacher occupies a position as a facilitator. The reality that occurs in the field shows that the courage of students to ask questions, express opinions, and students' curiosity in the learning process is still lacking. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Project Based Instruction learning method on student learning outcomes. The research method used is classroom action research using two cycles carried out in the first semester with Number Pattern Material. The population in this study were students of class VII Ponpes Salapiah Gunung Silayang Layang. The results showed that there was a significant effect of student learning outcomes in learning mathematics through the Problem Based Instruction (PBI) learning model, which increased by 71.85 with the "Enough" category in the first cycle, then increased to 88.55 with the "Good" category in the first cycle. cycle II. The teacher's ability to manage learning using the Problem Based Instruction (PBI) model increased by 9.47%.

Abstract

Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah memberikan pelatihan dan pengetahuan kepada guru-guru yang mengajar di SMP, SMA dan SMK Swasta Kampus Padangsidimpuan tentang pembuatan media pembelajaran berbasis powerpoint yang bermanfaat sebagai bahan ajar untuk mempermuda guru dalam menjelaskan atau menerangkan materi pembelajaran yang diajarkan. Langkah-langkah yang dilakukan oleh tim dalam melaksanakan kegiatan ini sebagi berikut; Perencanaan, Perancanaan Tindakan, Observasi/Evaluasi, dan Refleksi. Dengan adanya media pembelajaran akan lebih memudahkan guru dalam menjelaskan metari pembelajaran.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop a valid, practical, and effective Learner Worksheet (LKPD) in improving students' literacy skills. This study used the research and development method with the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation) development model. Data collection instruments included validation sheets, learner and teacher response questionnaires, activity observation sheets, motivation questionnaires, and literacy tests. This study involved Grade VII students and mathematics teachers in a private junior high school in Padangsimpuan.Based on the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach and local culture, LKPDs were developed that showed a high level of validity in terms of media, materials, and language. Positive responses from students and teachers indicate the practicality of the LKPD. The effectiveness of the LKPD can be seen in the improvement of students' literacy skills as evidenced by observations, motivation questionnaires, and literacy tests.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) yang valid, praktis, dan efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan literasi siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development dengan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation). Instrumen pengumpulan data meliputi lembar validasi, angket respon peserta didik dan guru, lembar observasi aktivitas, angket motivasi, serta tes kemampuan literasi. Penelitian ini melibatkan siswa kelas VII dan guru matematika di sebuah SMP Swasta di Padangsimpuan, menghasilkan LKPD berbasis pendekatan Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) dan budaya lokal yang menunjukkan tingkat kevalidan tinggi dalam aspek media, materi, dan bahasa. Respon positif dari peserta didik dan guru menunjukkan praktikalitas LKPD. Efektivitas LKPD terlihat dari peningkatan kemampuan literasi siswa, sebagaimana dibuktikan melalui observasi, angket motivasi, dan tes literasi.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam mengembangkan LKPD interaktif berbasis Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) yang dipadukan dengan nilai budaya Mandailing untuk memperkuat pembelajaran kontekstual di era 4.0. Kegiatan dilaksanakan selama tiga hari, meliputi tahap persiapan (6 Agustus 2025), pelaksanaan workshop dan pendampingan (7–8 Agustus 2025), serta evaluasi. Sebanyak 25 guru SMP Negeri 4 Angkola Timur berpartisipasi aktif dalam pelatihan yang menekankan praktik langsung menggunakan aplikasi digital seperti Canva dan Liveworksheet. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan guru dalam merancang LKPD digital yang menarik dan relevan bagi siswa. Evaluasi menunjukkan tingkat pemahaman peserta sebesar 88,75%, penyampaian materi 89,10%, dan praktik 87,80%, dengan peningkatan kompetensi rata-rata 32% berdasarkan hasil pre-test dan post-test. Peserta memberikan tanggapan positif dan merasa kegiatan ini memberikan manfaat nyata bagi peningkatan profesionalisme dan kreativitas mereka. Secara keseluruhan, kegiatan PKM ini berhasil memperkuat literasi digital guru, menumbuhkan kemampuan inovatif dalam pembelajaran berbasis konteks lokal, serta menjadi langkah awal dalam membangun ekosistem pendidikan yang adaptif, kolaboratif, dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Abstrak: Kegiatan Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) ini dilaksanakan di Sekolah Dasar dengan tujuan meningkatkan kompetensi digital guru melalui pembuatan E-LKPD berbantuan Canva. Masalah yang dihadapi mitra adalah rendahnya kemampuan guru dalam mengintegrasikan teknologi digital serta belum optimalnya penerapan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi dan mandiri. Kegiatan dilakukan melalui lima tahap, yaitu sosialisasi, pelatihan, penerapan, pendampingan, dan keberlanjutan, melibatkan 18 guru sebagai peserta. Evaluasi dilakukan menggunakan pre-test dan post-test keterampilan digital serta observasi selama kegiatan. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan rata-rata keterampilan digital sebesar 65,8%, dengan 87% peserta mencapai nilai di atas 60. Selain itu, guru mampu membuat tiga prototipe E-LKPD interaktif yang layak digunakan, serta terbentuk komunitas belajar digital sekolah. Kegiatan ini efektif meningkatkan literasi digital dan kemandirian guru dalam mendesain media pembelajaran sesuai prinsip pembelajaran berdiferensiasi.Abstract: This Community Partnership Program (PKM) was conducted at Elementary School to improve teachers’ digital competence through the development of Canva-assisted Electronic Student Worksheets (E-LKPD). The main problem identified was the limited ability of teachers to integrate digital technology and implement differentiated, self-directed learning. The program consisted of five stages: socialization, training, implementation, mentoring, and sustainability, involving 18 teachers as participants. Evaluation was conducted using pre-test and post-test digital skill assessments and direct observation during the activities. The results showed an average increase of 65.8% in teachers’ digital skills, with 87% scoring above 60 on the final test. Teachers also successfully produced three interactive E-LKPD prototypes and formed a digital learning community within the school. This program effectively enhanced teachers’ digital literacy, creativity, and independence in designing innovative and differentiated learning media for elementary education.
