Abstract

This study aims to map the development of literature related to halal certification in Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) through a bibliometric approach based on Google Scholar data. The method used is a combination of quantitative and qualitative approaches (mixed method), with bibliometric techniques for statistical analysis and systematic literature review for thematic interpretation. Secondary data was obtained through the Publish or Perish application, and analyzed using VOSviewer. The results show that from 2017 to November 2024, there were 133 relevant documents. The most productive author is Fajar from Trunojoyo University (4 publications) and the most productive institution is Trunojoyo. The author with the highest citation rate is Alissa Qotrun Nadya (55 citations). Dominant keywords include "halal certification", while terms such as "branding" are starting to appear in the latest trends, and "halalpreneurship" is relatively rarely used. This study also identified seven clusters of potential research topics based on network and overlay visualization. In addition, there are 6 research topics based on the literature review. These topics can be the basis or guide for the direction of the strategy for developing halal certification research for MSMEs in the future. Keywords: Halal Certification; MSMEs; Bibliometrics

Abstract

Research: This investigation seeks to survey the existing body of literature concerning customer satisfaction within the Sharia insurance sector, to delineate the principal factors that shape customer contentment, and to construct a conceptual framework predicated upon these pivotal determinants. Design/methodology/approach: The study employs a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) methodology, integrated with a descriptive qualitative approach, following the PRISMA protocol. Data were procured from Google Scholar, utilizing the Publish or Perish software, with the search terms “kepuasan nasabah asuransi syariah” and “Sharia Insurance Customer Satisfaction.” An initial corpus of 41 articles was rigorously screened, culminating in a final selection of 11 seminal papers. A thorough content analysis was subsequently performed to identify, categorize, and interpret the collated research findings. Research Findings: The review revealed a fluctuation in publication output between 2020 and 2025, peaking in 2023 with the issuance of five articles. The analysis identified five predominant factors that materially affect customer satisfaction: service quality, premium rates, brand image, Sharia-compliant marketing, and product quality. Theoretical Contribution/Originality: This research furnishes a systematic overview specifically centered on customer satisfaction in Sharia insurance, thereby addressing a significant lacuna in the literature that has hitherto remained underexplored in a comprehensive manner using the SLR method. Research limitation and implication: The scope of this inquiry is confined to 11 articles indexed in Google Scholar published between 2020 and 2025. Notwithstanding this limitation, the findings provide a foundational reference for subsequent academic research and offer salient practical implications for Sharia insurance enterprises aiming to enhance customer satisfaction through the fortification of service quality, premium structures, brand reputation, ethical marketing strategies, and product offerings.

Abstract

Research Aims: This research aims to examine the influence of the perceived benefits, easiness, and risks toward students’ interest in using QRIS among STEI SEBI students. Methodology: This type of research uses descriptive quantitative methods by collecting data through questionnaires and literature. The data obtained is then managed using the SEM-PLS (Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square) tool with the SmartPLS version 4 application which goes through inner model and outer model tests. Research Findings: The results of this study indicate that the perceived usefulness have a positive and significant effect on the intention to use QRIS, the perceived ease of use has a positive and significant effect on the intention to use QRIS, and the perceived risk has a positive and significant effect on the intention to use QRIS. Theoretical Contribution: There have been many studies on interest in using QRIS. However, since this study focused on students’ interest will enrich and strengthen the existing theory. Research limitation and implication: This study limited to student of STEI SEBI. Consequently, the result might be differed with others and biased. Therefore, the future research should enhance the object of study and the variables.

This study aims to review the literature about the implementation of fatwa DSN-MUI Number 77 on gold installments or non-cash basis. The permissibility of gold installment by MUI attracted debate and research among researchers on its implementation as the text of hadith considered the gold installment as riba which is the central issue in Islamic economics and finance. The result offered that in implementing fatwa number 77 can be grouped into 4 categories. The first is the group whose results were compliance with the fatwa with 18 articles. Second, articles state that implementation is not following the fatwa are 7 articles. Third, three articles did not clearly state whether they were shari’ah compliance or not. Fourth, research that just explains the legality of fatwa number 77. Therefore, it suggested to the Shari’ah supervisor board to closely monitor and supervise its implementation of Fatwa.

Abstract

The research aims to find out the mechanism for using the BuzzBreak application, and to analyze the process of earning income using the BuzzBreak application. The method used is descriptive qualitative and data sources were taken through library research. Where the research focuses on income (income) obtained by users of the BuzzBreak application. Based on the results of the study, the most probable Islamic contract is Ju’alah contract since there is an agreement from the application party to provide certain rewards to application users for achieving specified work results (natijah). This is also supported by the identification of the sale contract from the DSN fatwa No. 62 MUI/XII/2007 regarding the sale, as well as the opinion of the two high priests, namely the Syafi'i and Maliki schools of thought, who emphasize the point of selling at the point of uncertainty about the time it was made and about its success.

Abstract

Objectives: This study aims to identify trends, key themes, opportunities, and challenges in the application of blockchain technology in halal certification activities. Design/Method/Approach: This study used the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method with the PRISMA guidelines. Data were collected from Google Scholar using Publish or Perish (PoP). Findings: the research found that blockchain has significant potential to enhance transparency, efficiency, traceability, and accountability in halal certification through features such as smart contracts and decentralized storage. However, significant challenges remain, including infrastructure readiness, human resource limitations, the absence of global standards, and potential ethical gaps. Publication trends indicate an increase in academic interest in this topic. Originality/Value: This research contributes by mapping the latest literature and filling the research gap related to the application of blockchain specifically in halal certification. The results are expected to serve as a scientific and practical foundation for the development of a more credible and sustainable digitalization strategy for the halal industry.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of digitalization of Zakat institutions on repeat donation decisions, considering the mediating roles of trust and satisfaction. The study employs the Stimulus-Organism-Response (SOR) framework approach, with the research method using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) to examine the direct and indirect effects of digitalization in Zakat Institutions on recurring donation decisions. The analysis results show that digitalization in Zakat Institutions (DLZ) has a significant direct impact on trust (TRS) and satisfaction (ST), which subsequently drive recurring donations (RPT). However, other variables, such as program quality (KPLZ), program popularity (PPLZ), and institutional reputation (RLZ), do not significantly influence trust or satisfaction, either directly or indirectly. The mediation effects reveal that DLZ significantly affects recurring donations through trust and satisfaction, while other variables do not have a significant influence. Future research is advised to broaden the sample scope, add variables related to program quality and donor loyalty, and employ a longitudinal approach to assess the long-term effects of digitalization on recurring donations
