Abstract

Abstrak. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan menggunakan desain one gruop pretest-postest design yang dilaksanakan selama lima kali pertemuan dengan pertemuan ke-1 pre-test, pertemuan ke-2, 3 dan 4 berupa penerapan perlakuan TPS, pertemuan ke-5 post-test, namun sebelumnya dilakukan observasi awal selama 2 kali pertemuan. Adapun sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas IXA yang berjumlah 26 orang yang diambil dengan teknik cluster random sampling. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata skor hasil pre-test siswa dari 26 orang mencapai 66,46, banyak siswa yang tuntas 11 orang dengan persentase 42,31%. Sedangkan setelah perlakuan dengan menerapkan model kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share (TPS) kemudian diberi post-test rata-rata hasil belajar siswa dari 26 orang mencapai 78,96, banyak siswa yang tuntas 21 orang dengan persentase ketuntasan klasikal 80,77%. Untuk hasil observasi pada aktivitas siswa, 80% siswa aktif dalam proses pembelajaran dan aktivitas guru mencapai kategori baik dengan rata-rata mencapai 3,44, dengan demikian menghasilkan respon siswa yang positif setelah proses pembelajaran mencapai 88,31%. Sedangkan pada uji hipotesis dengan One Sample T Test diperoleh hasil pvalue 0,000 < α. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dipaparkan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran matematika dapat dikatakan efektif dan hasil belajar matematika siswa lebih baik setelah penerapan model kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share (TPS) pada siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 5 Data Kabupaten Pinrang.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the process and results of the development of authentic assessment in teaching geometry which refers to the 4-D model. Geometry authentic assessment in this study includes learning achievement tests, self-assessment, portfolio assessment, performance assessment guidelines, self-assessment guidelines, portfolio assessment guidelines, feasibility test instruments, teacher response questionnaires, student response questionnaires, and validation sheets. The research subjects are 8th-grade students of SMPN 2 Barombong, Gowa Regency. The validity test analysis is rationally obtained through two the results of the validation of experts, test reliability both rationally and empirically, and objectivity using the product-moment formula. The results showed that the authentic assessment met the criteria of being valid, practical, and effective. As a consequence, it is suggested that the development of authentic assessment tools for geometry learning be expanded to other resources to make teacher evaluation easier. Furthermore, the study's implications provide teachers with information for conducting authentic assessment formulation in the implementation of learning, especially for students.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the critical thinking profile of mathematics education students in solving ill-structured problems based on mathematical ability. The critical thinking profile in solving the described ill-structured problem consists of several stages, namely (1) Analyze; (2) Browse; (3) Create; (4) Decision-making; (5) Evaluate; and (6) List or with the term A-B-C-D-E plus L based on critical thinking skills, namely (1) Interpretation; (2) Analysis; (3) Conclusion; (4) Evaluation; (5) Explanation; and (6) Self-regulation. The subjects of this study consisted of one student of mathematics education who had the high mathematical ability and one student of mathematics education who had the moderate mathematical ability. They were interviewed based on the results of the Ill-Structured problem-solving. This research used a descriptive qualitative approach. The data obtained were validated, then analyzed with several steps, namely: reduction, data presentation, categorization, interpretation, and inference. The results showed that the mathematics education students carried out critical thinking processes in solving ill-structured problems through six (6) stages, namely: Analyze, Browse, Create, Decision-making, Evaluate, and List or with the term A-B-C-D-E plus L, those which refer to the stages of critical thinking skills, including Interpretation, Analysis, Conclusions, Evaluation, Explanation, and Self-regulation.

Abstract

Hidroponik ialah salah satu tata cara alternatif dalam membudidayakan tumbuhan tanpa memakai media tanah namun menggunakan air selaku tata cara alternatif. Nutrisi yang diberikan pada tumbuhan hidroponik bisa langsung diserap sempurna serta waktu panen lebih kilat. Bermacam berbagai sayur- mayur semacam sawi yang banyak diminati warga bisa dibudidayakan lewat teknologi hidroponik. Konsep penanaman hidroponik ini menggunakan media yang gampang ditemui. Dengan memakai air mengalir yang gampang didapatkan sehingga kurangi lahan pertanian digunakan. Penyuluhan ini bisa tingkatkan penyetahuan warga serta menggunakan energi alam. Pemberdayaan masyarakat di lingkungan Tondong Tallasa ini untuk memberikan wawasan tentang cara membudidayakan tumbuhan tanpa memerlukan lahan yang luas, dalam kegiatan pengapdian ini meliputi orientasi teknis, sosialisasi dan workshop. Dari hasil kegiatan ini dapat kita simpulkan bahwa pada prinsipnya pemberdayaan masyarakat khususnya masyarakat kelompok tani paham dan mampu menerapkan penggunaan terasering, sehingga kegiatan pengabdian ini ditujukan untuk masyarakat kelompok tani.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the logical and critical thinking process of junior high school students in solving ill-structured problems based on mathematics ability. The research subject consisted of one student with high mathematics ability. The supporting instruments for data collection were: 1) Test of Mathematical Ability (TKM) consisting of 10 items in the form of descriptions to select subjects with high mathematical ability, 2) Ill-structured Problem Task (TMI), 3) Interviewing the subject based on the task (TMI). The data analysed in this study are interview transcript data, document data and field notes. This study used three stages in data analysis, namely data condensation, data display and conclusion drawing and verification. To validate the findings, the author applied method triangulation until consistent data was obtained, i.e. the data was structured and the content was relatively the same. Furthermore, consistent data in this study is categorised as research data. The results showed that the logical and critical thinking process of high mathematics ability students in solving ill-structured problems consisted of: (1) problem representation; (2) Generating Solution; (3) Justification; and (4) Monitoring and Evaluation. Based on the results of research related to the exploration of mathematical aesthetics through logical and critical thinking, it is recommended as material for further research development in terms of other aspects
