Abstract

This study aims to determine how the process of determining the Village Medium-Term Development Plan in Sandai Kanan Village and Muara Jekak Village. In addition, this study also aims to determine the process of determining the Village Medium-Term Development Plan and the Implementation of Village Development in Sandai Kanan Village and Muara Jekak Village, Ketapang Regency. This research uses descriptive qualitative research, with data collection techniques through observation and interviews. The primary data sources in this study are the informant respondents Uti Fahrul, the secretary of the right sandai village and Andri Suandi, the secretary of the Muara Jekak village and supported by primary, secondary and tertiary legal materials. The results showed that in Sandai Kanan Village and Muara Jekak Village in the process of determining the RPJMDes 2017-2022 as stipulated in Law No. 6 of 2014 has been carried out quite well, this is confirmed by supporting data, namely PerDes on RPJMDes in both villages. Regarding the process of implementing development in Sandai Kanan Village, in particular, it does not run as it should, this is confirmed by the data obtained, namely the RPJMDes data in development is not implemented. As for Muara Jekak Village, the implementation process has been carried out in accordance with the data that has been obtained and corroborated by the results of interviews and observations by going directly to the field.

Abstract

The high cost of medical care, including hospitalization, medication, and transportation, has led many people to choose health insurance to transfer some of the financial risks caused by the uncertainty of medical events. Risk in insurance is related to the possibility of financial loss. However, despite insurance agreements clearly outlining rights and obligations, insurance companies often fail to fulfill their responsibilities, as evidenced in the Supreme Court of Justice Decision Number 1739 K/Pdt/2016 regarding the rejection of a life insurance claim by PT. BNI LIFE INSURANCE. This study aims to analyze the legal consequences of discrepancies in claim payments and the factors that cause them. Using a sociological and descriptive legal research method, the study shows that disputes can be resolved through negotiation, arbitration, or litigation, depending on the terms of the insurance policy. The claim denial occurred due to the policyholder's dishonesty in disclosing their health condition during the policy registration, which violated the principles of transparency and honesty in insurance.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze the role of the Office of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection (DP3A) of Pontianak City in addressing child marriage. Child marriage remains a concerning social issue due to its negative impact on children's rights, education, and future, especially for girls. In Pontianak, major contributing factors include economic conditions, cultural norms, and lack of awareness regarding the importance of education. This research employs an empirical method with data collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. The findings reveal that DP3A has implemented various strategies such as community and school outreach, education on the harmful effects of child marriage, assistance for victims, and collaboration with related institutions. Despite strong commitment, program implementation faces several challenges, including limited human and financial resources, as well as low public participation. Therefore, cross-sector collaboration and increased community awareness are essential to achieve more effective and sustainable efforts in preventing child marriage. Abstract

This research aims to determine and describe Electronic-Based Government Procurement of Goods and Services (E-procurement) in Realizing Good Governance in Kubu Raya Regency. This research uses sociological or empirical legal research, where the data required is primary data, namely data obtained directly from the first source, namely community behavior and secondary data consisting of primary legal material, secondary legal material and tertiary legal material. The research results show that the procurement of goods and services through E-Procurement in Kubu Raya Regency has been carried out quite well and is in accordance with the seven 7 (seven) principles of Good Governance and 12 (twelve) Tender stages as contained in the Procurement General Overview Information Book Government Goods/Services, the Role of PBJ in National Development.pdf of 2020 and Presidential Regulation Number 12 of 2021 concerning Amendments to Presidential Regulation Number 16 of 2018 concerning Procurement of Government Goods/Services.
