Abstract

This paper found that the character of education at Averos High School was successfully implemented since in 2010. The implementation of character education was carried out through the internalization of character values in the syllabus and lesson plans. The character values were explicitly taught in teaching activities that include in initial, core and closing activities. In addition, the implementation of character education was carried out with exemplary and habituation that were integrated in daily life of student. The character education was both taught in class and practically implemented outside the classroom through extracurricular activities. Furthermore, the implementation of the character education was examined through three aspects, namely cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspect. The assessment through these three aspects was carried out continuously in formal learning activities in the classroom and outside the classroom. Finally, the study also reported some factors supporting the internalization of character values, namely family, the headmaster, educators, environment and facilities while time that student spending in the school, and community participation were reported as constraints

Abstract

This study aims to provide an understanding of the dynamics of the life of the people of Sorong, West Papua related to the harmony of education in family and community life. Harmony, in this case, is related to the mixing of religions in one household, framed in the philosophy of local wisdom called “One Furnace-Three Stones”. This study uses a phenomenological qualitative design. Data were collected through field notes, interviews, and documentation techniques. Data analysis was carried out using the Miles, Huberman, and Saldana techniques: data condensation, data display, and verification/conclusion drawing, as well as data validity using data triangulation techniques. The results showed that the practice of one furnace-three stone became the local wisdom of the people of Sorong, West Papua, namely understanding each other's beliefs about the religion they embraced without having to intervene in the beliefs of other families. The local wisdom creates harmony in education because it focuses on the educational aspect of self. If the education is good for the local community, then all will provide support from the family, youth leaders, and traditional leaders. Internal and external factors cause the supporting factors in realizing harmony in education. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factor in realizing the harmony in education is the low economic background, which narrows the opportunity for children to choose the education they want.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kepemimpinan transformatif yang dijalankan oleh hakim syara' dalam memajukan pendidikan Islam melalui masjid di Pulau Misool, Raja Ampat. Penelitian ini mengadopsi desain penelitian lapangan kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Penelitian dilakukan selama empat bulan, dengan melibatkan hakim syara', tokoh agama, tokoh adat, tokoh masyarakat, tokoh pemuda, anggota Majelis Taklim (kelompok studi agama wanita), dan warga masyarakat sebagai informan. Dengan menerapkan teori kepemimpinan transformatif bersama dengan konsep ashabiyah (solidaritas) Ibnu Khaldun, temuan penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa model kepemimpinan hakim syara' mewujudkan pendekatan asabiya (genealogis) transformatif. Pendekatan ini mendorong pembangunan melalui lembaga masjid, seperti yang terlihat dalam inisiatif seperti transisi teks khotbah Jumat dari bahasa Arab ke bahasa Indonesia (Melayu), pembentukan Majelis Taklim, pelaksanaan program pendidikan Al-Qur'an, pembentukan kelompok Pemuda Masjid Darussalam, mengizinkan tamu terhormat di luar klan Bugis setempat untuk menjadi Imam, dan mengundang pembicara ke desa Lilinta. Dampak kepemimpinan hakim syara' terhadap pengembangan pendidikan Islam di Desa Lilinta Misool antara lain revitalisasi fungsi masjid, peningkatan pemahaman keagamaan masyarakat desa, dan pembinaan perubahan perilaku keagamaan warga Desa Lilinta.

Abstract

This article explains in a simple way related to the freedom of learning offered by the Minister of Research, Technology, and Higher Education and will relate it to the Al-Quran and Hadith. In this study, the author uses the method of library research or library research by using literature related to the concept of self-study from the perspective of Al-Quran and Hadith. While the research approach used is a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The study results show that the freedom of learning promoted by Nadiem Makarim has been implemented in Islam for a long time. This result is proven by referring to the Al-Quran and Hadith, which is very clear. There are several verses in the Qur'an and Hadith that explain the freedom of learning; each example of this proof is as stated in the Qur'an Surah Al Baqarah verse 31 and Hadith narrated by Bukhari and Muslim.

Abstract

This study found that character education at MTs. Irsyadussalam Cakkeware Bone Regency has been implemented. This can be seen from the mental picture of students at MTs. Irsyadussalam Cakkeware is good, but still needs development. The process of character education as a mental development of students has been carried out in several stages starting from integrating character values into learning activities, understanding and appreciation of character values, and the involvement of all school communities in the mental development of students. In addition, the results of the implementation of character education as the mental development of students are carried out in several ways, namely by way of exemplary and habituation of doing good, habituation to praying duhur in congregation at school, and holding the Qur'an tadarus which becomes a routine every night at the Irsyadussalam mosque, as well as reading barzanji every Friday at school. However, it cannot be said to be running optimally, because there are still some students who show behavior that does not reflect as students, lack of self-awareness, lack of concern for the environment, less polite to teachers and friends, still like to hang around during class hours, less attention to neatness, and some are even found smoking secretly. This is where the importance of character education as a mental development of students. As an implication, MTs. Irsyadussalam Cakkeware Bone Regency is expected to further improve the implementation of character education as a mental development of students. The process and forms of implementation results are further improved to create a generation with character, a generation that has a good mentality to avoid immoral behavior.

Abstract

This research was conducted to find out how the teacher's role in increasing student motivation in the learning process. The purpose of this study was to find out how the role and efforts of teachers in increasing students' learning motivation. This research is descriptive qualitative research. The results of this study stated that the teacher's role in increasing student motivation at SD Inpres 17 Remu Sorong City was by giving assignments, training to students, then the teacher providing reinforcement, approach, and guidance by conducting meaningful learning as a facilitator and mentor when students have difficulty in the learning process. The teacher's efforts in increasing student learning motivation are by using approach methods, peer tutors, home visits and are given reinforcement by embracing students so that students are active in learning and work together with schools, government, and parents to achieve good learning outcomes.

Abstract

This thesis discusses the role of teachers in shaping self-confidence in SD IES Al-Ghuroba, Sorong Regency. Overcoming the collapse of the character is to eliminate or improve the factors that cause it. There are five areas of education that can foster good character, namely: family, self, school, environment, and society. The development of national character is a collective commitment of the Indonesian people to face today's global demands. This study aims to determine the efforts of teachers in shaping the confident character of students and also the obstacles faced by teachers in shaping the confident character of students and their solutions. To achieve the above objectives, the type of research used in this research is qualitative research. Based on the results of direct observations and interviews between researchers and principals, teachers, and students at SD IES Al-Ghuroba. The results of the study indicate the efforts made by the teacher namely: giving motivation to students, giving praise or gifts, and often presenting them in front of their friends in turn in class. The obstacles faced by teachers in increasing the confidence of students are the mindset of students who are different and there are still some students who lack self-confidence. Therefore, the solution taken by the teacher as an educator is to try as much as possible to guide and provide strong motivation and encouragement to students so that they have self-confidence

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang Toxic Parents yang bertujuan untuk memberikan penanaman moral tentang dampak perilaku toxic parents terhadap perilaku emosional peserta didik di MI Al-Kautsar Kota Sorong. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dangan pendekatan fenomenologi dan psikologis. Pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara mendalam dan observasi. Teknik analisis data mengikuti teori Miles dan Huberman yaitu pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perilaku toxic parents memiliki dampak negatif yang signifikan terhadap perilaku emosional peserta didik di MI Al-Kautsar kota sorong. Peserta didik yang terpapar lingkungan keluarga yang toxic cenderung menunjukkan gejala kecemasan, kurangnya percaya diri, dan kesulitan dalam mengelola emosi. Pola asuh yang tidak mendukung dan tidak sehat memengaruhi kesejahteraan emosional peserta didik dan berpotensi mengganggu perkembangan sosial dan akademik mereka. Ketidakstabilan emosional dan kecemasan yang dihasilkan dari lingkungan Toxic Parents juga dapat mengganggu kemampuan anak-anak untuk fokus dan belajar di sekolah. Mengatasi perilaku Toxic Parents memerlukan pendekatan yang sensitif dan berempati, baik dari pihak guru maupun orang tua.
