Abstract

Dengan semakin majunya sistem informasi diluar maupun didalam negeri, Kini masyarakat lebih memperhatikan atau tertarik pada produk-produk yang dihasilkan harus lebih mempunyai nilai ringkas atau  flexibledan tentunya sesuai dengan harga dari produk tersebut, Hal ini  menjadi sebuah acuan bagi pengembang inovasi produk yang mementingkan keinginan masyarakat untuk mendapatkan kekuatan dari kalangan konsumen, Dengan mempertimbangkan usulan dari para orang tua maka penulis mencoba menawarkan prototype tempat tidur balita  yang sesuai dengan dimensi antropometri tubuh bayi di Indonesia. Dengan maksud tempat tidur bayi tersebut mampu memberikan kenyamanan dan keamanan bagi bayi, khususnya kepuasan bagi para orang tua dalam mengasuh atau memfasilitasi anaknya.  Metodologi penelitian dilakukan dengan penggalian data dari responden menggunakan metode  Quality Funcion Deployment  (QFD) untuk mengetahui keinginan dari konsumen, serta data antropometri untuk mengetahui persentil dari ukuran yang diperlukan untuk merancang Tempat Tidur  Bayi (Baby Box) yang sesuai dengan dimensi tubuh bayi di Indonesia. Hasil penelitian ini dapat diketahui atribut-atribut tempat tidur bayi yang sesuai dengan keinginan pelanggan meliputi : Tempat tidur mampu menahan berat dan gerakan bayi, Dilengkapi dengan kain tile pelindung dari gigitan nyamuk, Adanya rak tempat untuk menyimpan pakaian bayi, Warna tempat tidur yang cerah, Adanya kantong tas sehingga mudah dibawa. Ukuran tempat tidur bayi dikembangkan berdasarkan penerapan data antropometri dengan menggunakan persentil 5-th dan 95-th sehingga diperoleh ukuran tinggi tempat tidur bayi adalah 80cm, panjang 110 cm, dan lebar 80cm.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of aggregate hydroponic growing media and EC (Electrical Conductivity) nutrient solution on the growth and production of melon (Cucumis melo L.). This study used a Factorial Completely Randomized Design (RALF) consisting of 2 factors, namely the type of planting medium (cocopeat and husk charcoal) and the EC value (1, 2, 3, 4, 5) mS/cm, each replicated as much as 3 times to obtain 30 experimental units. The results showed that cocopeat was a planting medium that gave the best response to the parameters of fruit weight and sweetness level with an average fruit weight of 2.46 kg, in addition the use of EC 2 mS/cm and EC 3 mS/cm gave the best response to parameters of fruit weight and sweetness level with an average fruit weight of 2.04 kg and 2.05 kg. Based on these results, the use of EC 2 ms/cm was chosen as the best treatment, because it gives maximum results by spending less resources when compared to EC 3 mS/cm.

Abstract

Watershed of upper Way Sekampung system is one of watershed area located in Tanggamus Regency, Lampung Province with the large of 43.453,30 Ha.  Watershed of Upper Way Sekampung system had been changing from forest land to largest land of agriculture.  The purpose of this research was to find out the parameter effected to discharge in watershed of Upper Sekampung system, to find out the correlation model of various land use in multiple linear with discharge ratio of SWAT, and to find out the land use is most effective (sensitive) to ddischarge ratio.  The method of this research is preparation and data collecting.  The analysis in this research is using the SWAT analysis, multiple linear regression analysis, error level analysis (RMSE), dan sensitivity tests model analysis. So it can be concule that 1) The coefficient parameter of surface flow, manning’s constanta of land use and river surface, compensation factor of evaporation of land surfaces, compensation factor for plant transpiration, coefficient of water plant loss, flow of water soil factor (day), hydrolic conductivity flow of river, and water storage capacity (mm/mm) was affected to discharge at watershed of Upper Sekampung  system with precision levels (validity) of 82%.  2) hidrology condition (discharge) at watershed of Upper Sekampung system also it can be using by exponential regression model that correlation between the exponential ratio (Q unit m3/s) with the area of each land use (hectare unit), with coefficient determidation value of 0,324.  3) The land’s use most influential (sensitive) increasing discharge rasio value is ratification is secondary farm (PLKR), while the land’s use most influential (sensitive) decreasing discharge rasio value is schrub (SMBL).

Abstract

The aim of the research was to study the effect of the volume of growth media and nutrient EC (Electrical Conductivity) on the yield and productivity of melon plants (Cucumis melo L.), using a hydroponic wick system.  This study employed a Randomized Complete Design (RCBD) with a factorial arrangement consisting of 2 factors.  First factor consisted of a 3 level growth medium volume per pot namely 5 liters (M1), 14 liters (M2), and 34 liters (M3).  The second factor was a 4 level nutrient EC, including 1.5 mS/cm (P1), 2.5 mS/cm (P2), 3.5 mS/cm (P3), and 4.5 mS/cm (P4).  Each treatment combination used 3 replicates to achieve 36 experimental units. The results showed that the treatment of the 34-liter growth media (M3) yielded high fruit weight of 1.40 kg and the highest water productivity of 37.90 kg/m³. The planting media volume treatment (M) significantly affected parameters namely stem diameter, fruit weight, sweetness level, fruit circumference, and water productivity, but not for other parameters. Meanwhile, the fertilizer EC treatment (P) significantly affected plant height, sweetness level, and fruit circumference, but not for other parameters.  If fruit weight is used as the criterion, the optimum choice was M3P1 (34 liter media volume and 1.5 mS/cm EC). Keywords: Electrical Conductivity, Hydroponics, Melon, Rice Husk Charcoal, Wick System.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine flood height and also the area of flood in Way Kuripan River. The first step of this study is used hydrological analysis to obtain the maximum flow rate of Way Kuripan River a return periods of 2 years, 5 years, 10 years, 25 years, 50 years, and 100 years. Furthermore, to know capacities and water level of Way Kuripan River is required the hydraulic simulation process that is made easier by using Hydrologic Engineering Center-River Analysis System (HEC-RAS) program through 8 cross-sectional points. The HEC-RAS program can help be model the river flows in existing conditions with using steady flow options and input datas in the form of maximum discharge data. The output of the modeling using the HEC-RAS program can be seen in figure and tables form that present the characteristics of the Way Kuripan river cross section. The analysis of results of the HEC RAS with simulation till discharge plan when a return period of 100 years have been flood at 3 point cross section that is Sta. 4.6 and 7. In the cross section Sta. 6 has been flood as high as 1.94 meters on the right side. The flood areas include: Pesawahan, Kota Karang, Kuripan, Gedong Pakuon, Talang, Sukarame II, Negeri Olok Gading, Sumur Putri and Perwata. Keywords:  Flood, HEC RAS, Way Kuripan River.

Abstract

Era globalisasi ini rentan sekali masuknya nilai-nilai, norma, bahkan ideologi baru yang secara mudah masuk ke dalam masyarakat ataupun komunitas-komunitas adat, masuknya hal tersebut melalui media massa seperti acara televisi, internet yang sekarang ini sudah ada di seluruh pelosok negeri tanpa kecuali. Tujuan artikel ini adalah mengidentifikasi upaya eksistensi dan kendala masyarakat adat Kampung tujuh di tengah globalisasi desa wisata Nglanggeran, Gunungkidul. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, dengan metode etnografi. Warga masyarakat adat Kampung tujuh telah terpengaruh oleh adanya globalisasi yang terjadi di desa wisata Nglanggeran.  Namun demikian dari hasil observasi dan wawancara,  peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa meskipun terpengaruh oleh globalisasi, masyarakat adat kampung tujuh masih mempertahankan keaslian adat istiadat dan menjalankan nilai-nilai adat dari leluhur.---------------------------------------------------------------------The existence of indigenous peoples amid globalization This era of globalization the community or indigenous communities are very vulnerable of entering new values, norms, and even ideologies through mass media such as television shows, the internet which now exists throughout the country without exception. The purpose of this article is to identify the existence and resistance of the Kampung Tujuh indigenous people amid the globalization of Nglanggeran tourism village, Gunungkidul. This study uses a qualitative approach, with ethnographic methods. The indigenous people of Kampung Tujuh have been affected by the globalization that took place in the tourist village of Nglanggeran. However, from the results of observations and interviews, the researchers concluded that despite being affected by globalization, the indigenous peoples of the village still maintain the authenticity of customs and carry out traditional values from their ancestors.

Abstract

ABSTRAKDengan semakin tingginya mobilitas dan perpindahan manusia dari satu tempat ketempat lain serta sedang ramainya isu tentang Pemanasan global yang diakibatkan oleh Polusi dan efek gas rumah kaca sehingga memerlukan terobosan untuk mengurangi bahan untuk pendingin yang tidak menyebabkan kerusakan lingkungan. Salah satu solusi adalah dengan menggunakan Elemen termoelektrik (Peltier) sebagai komponen utama untuk mendinginkan. Perancangan Pendingin menggunakan Peltier serta desain kotak untuk minuman portable. Dan ada beberapa bahan pendukung untuk membuang panas dan serta mengalirkan dingin dari peltier ke dalam kotak tempat minuman yang akan didinginkan. Sistem pendingin termoelektrik ini memiliki kapasitas pendinginan yang terbatas karena kemampuan dari material modul termoelektrik dan juga heatsink yang digunakan. Dalam Tugas akhir ini akan membahas mengenai perancangan pendingin minuman portable menggunakan efek peltier berbasis raspberry Pi dan control suhu menggunakan DHT11 dengan output digital yang bisa terbaca dengan monitor LCD terhubung dengan Raspberry Pi. Suhu dingin yang dihasilkan termoelektrik juga dapat diatur batas suhunya sesuai kapasitas pendinginnya.Kata kunci : Termoelektrik, Raspberry, DHT11,PeltierABSTRACTWith the increasing mobility and movement of people from one place to another and the ongoing issue of global warming caused by pollution and the effects of greenhouse gases, breakthroughs are needed to reduce cooling materials that do not cause environmental damage. One solution is to use a thermoelectric element (Peltier) as the main component for cooling.Cooling design using Peltier and box design for portable drinks. And there are several supporting materials to dissipate heat and also channel cold from the peltier into the box where the drinks will be cooled. This thermoelectric cooling system has a limited cooling capacity due to the capabilities of the thermoelectric module material and also the heatsink used.In this final assignment, we will discuss the design of a portable beverage cooler using a Raspberry Pi-based Peltier effect and temperature control using DHT11 with digital output that can be read with an LCD monitor connected to the Raspberry Pi. Abstract

Water is a natural material that is very important for humans, animals and plants. Apart from being used as consumption, water can also be used as an energy source, with the need for water use which is very important for humans, it needs to be supported by an increase in water supply. Water supply usually uses a pump that functions to raise water from a lower place to a higher place. However, there are still many people who still have difficulty meeting their water needs due to the weak purchasing power of the people to buy pumps, especially in rural areas. Therefore, it is necessary to design a hydraulic ram pump which is one solution to overcome this problem because it is cheap and simple to manufacture and maintain. A hydraulic ram pump is a pump that can raise water from a low place to a higher place using energy that comes from the water flow itself. To find out the performance of the hydraulic ram pump, a pump efficiency test was carried out with the treatment of different heights of water flow sources, different heights of water lifted and different exhaust valve loads. The results of efficiency testing are obtained that the higher the water flow source the greater the efficiency, the lower the water lift the greater the efficiency and the lightest load on the exhaust valve has the greatest efficiency. Keywords: water, pump, hydraulic ram pump, efficiency

Abstract

Mint (Mentha piperita L.) is one of the aromatic herbs. The aim of this research was to investigate the effect of organonitrophos (organic fertizer) and irrigation water volume on the growth and yield of organically cultivated mint. The experiment was conducted in a completely randomized design (CRD) with two factors, namely the dose of organonitrophos consisting of 4 levels: D0 (0%), D1 (10%), D2 (30%), and D3 (50%) of the total weight of the media, and irrigation volume consisting of I1 (20-40%), I2 (50-70%), and I3 (80-100%) of the field capacity. The results showed that the dose of organonitrophos fertilizer and irrigation water volume affected the growth and yield of mint. The treatment that statistically produced the highest oven-dried weight (18.67 grams per plant) was D3I2 (50% compost fertilizer and 50-70% irrigation water). The treatment that produced the highest fresh weight (104.7 grams per plant) and was the most efficient was D2I1 (30% compost dose and 20-40% irrigation water). However, as a consequence, the choice of D2I1 significantly reduced the weight of oven-dried yield to 13.33 grams per plant.  Keywords: Organic, Mentha, Piperita, Organonitrofos, Irrigation

Abstract

Sugarcane bagasse is the remaining solid waste from sugarcane (Sacharum officinarum) milling which has the potential to be developed as solid fuel in the form of pellets. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of variations in pressure and particle size on the characteristics of pellets from sugarcane bagasse. The research was carried out with a combination of variations in particle size (fine, medium, and coarse) and pressure (1, 2, and 3 tons). The results showed that sugarcane bagasse has the potential to be developed as a pellet fuel because it has a relatively high calorific value, an average of 16.53 MJ/kg. Sugarcane bagasse pellets meet SNI 8675-2018 standards in terms of moisture content, density, and ash content. The results showed that although the ash content of the pellets was affected by the particle size, in general, the characteristics of the pellets were not significantly affected by the treatment factors (pressure and particle size as well as their interactions). Sugarcane bagasse pellets have a high water absorption capacity, so they require a good storage method. Keywords: Densification, Density, Pressure, Particl Size, Strength
