Abstract

The raw materials used for tempe production are highly diverse. In addition to soybeans, tempe can also be produced from seagrass seeds (Enhalus acoroides) using tempe starter culture. To accelerate fermentation, additional starters in the form of rice flour and wheat flour were used. This study aimed to determine the characteristics of tempe made from Enhalus acoroides seeds using rice flour and wheat flour starters in combination with soybean tempe flour. The ratio of soybean tempe flour to wheat flour (A1) and rice flour (A2) was 1:3. The combined starter was added at 20% of the total weight of seagrass seeds. The research employed an experimental method. The parameters analyzed included appearance, taste, aroma, and texture for subjective evaluation, and moisture content, protein, fat, ash, carbohydrate, calcium (Ca), iron (Fe), and lead (Pb) for objective analysis. The results showed that the use of wheat flour and rice flour starters combined with soybean tempe flour produced tempe with varied sensory values and chemical compositions. The sensory evaluation of Enhalus acoroides tempe yielded appearance scores ranging from 3,12 to 3,87 (like to very like), taste scores of 3,18-3,20 (like), aroma scores of 3,0-3,3 (like), and texture scores of 3,7-3,8 (very like). The chemical composition included moisture content ranging from 56,04-59,73%, ash 0,52-0,96%, fat 0,85-1,3%, protein 1,52-2,92%, carbohydrate 35,53-40,63%, calcium (Ca) 0,15-0,77 mg/L, iron (Fe) 8,22-8,73 mg/L, and lead (Pb) 0,002-0,125 mg/L. The use of rice flour starter contributed the most to the sensory characteristics, moisture, fat, protein, and iron content of tempeh, while the wheat flour starter was more dominant in increasing ash, carbohydrate, and calcium levels. The lead (Pb) content was also found to be below the maximum permissible limit, indicating that the tempeh produced in this study is safe for consumption.

Abstract

Introduction. Indonesia is one of the countries that has the highest potential for clean and renewable energy in the world. Indonesia's renewable energy potential includes geothermal, hydro and micro-mini hydro, bioenergy, solar, wind and ocean waves. To find out this potential, a bibliometric analysis was carried out on the development of new and renewable energy potential in Indonesia.Methodology. Data on the development of new and renewable energy potential is taken from the Scopus database. Data retrieval was carried out through a search with the keyword criteria used were renewable energy OR potential of new renewable energy OR implementation of new renewable energy OR geothermal OR biofuel OR biogas OR biomass OR solar panels AND Indonesia earth radiation OR. The analysis of this study uses R bibliophagy and Vos Viewer. Results and discussion. The results show that the highest annual publication trend will occur in 2021. The largest number of citations for new and renewable energy publications in Indonesia is Biodiversity with a total of 74 publications and 250 citations. The Journal of the Meteorological Society of Japan is a widely used publication source for publish research results on new and renewable energy. Pambudi, N.A. is a researcher who conducts the most research on geothermal energy (geothermal). Keywords that are often used are biomass, geothermal, biogas, biodiesel and biofuel.Conclusion. It was concluded that biomass, geothermal systems, renewable energy, alternative energy and energy policy were the most studied topics.

Abstract

Introduction. As a reference in evaluating the performance of library service delivery, it is necessary to have Library Service Standards which must be implemented by all multi-unit and single-work area libraries within the National Research and Innovation Agency. To ensure that the library service standards are running well and giving satisfaction to the community, a community satisfaction survey (SKM) was conducted. The Community Satisfaction Survey (SKM) for library services was carried out as an effort to: 1) determine the level of service staff performance and service quality; 2) obtain an overview of public opinion/perception of the quality of public services; and 3) obtaining input materials for evaluation and establishment of policies in order to improve the quality of public services in the future.Methodology. This SKM activity is carried out at the end of each month and is evaluated quarterly in 2022 by distributing the SKM questionnaire online to users. The results of the questionnaires collected were then processed into community satisfaction index values (IKM).Results and Discussion. The evaluation results obtained the IKM value with very good criteria, namely achieving a value of 3.71 with a conversion value of 92.8. This value indicates that respondents are satisfied with the library services provided by the RMPI-BRIN Library.Conclusion. The IKM score category 92.8 (category A) indicates that library services have been carried out well and must be maintained.

Abstract

This research discusses the important role of women's empowerment in alleviating poverty, preventing stunting, and managing local food in Ciamis Regency, West Java. Women's empowerment in Ciamis Regency has shown a significant contribution in supporting poverty alleviation, stunting prevention and local food management. Various programs, such as entrepreneurship training, nutrition education, and diversification of local food products, have empowered women socially and economically, increased household income, and supported community food security. In preventing stunting, women play a strategic role through nutrition and sanitation education, even though they still face challenges in the form of low public awareness, economic constraints and limited health infrastructure. In the local food management sector, women are involved in developing commodities such as fish, coffee and red chilies, which not only provide added economic value but also strengthen their role as agents of change in the community. Cross-sector support from government, community organizations and local communities has been an important factor in the success of these programs. However, challenges in the form of limited access to resources, social norms and digital literacy need to be overcome to ensure program sustainability. Overall, women's empowerment in Ciamis has great potential to support sustainable development, with a focus on increasing access to resources, education and effective cross-sector collaboration. This initiative makes a real contribution to reducing poverty, increasing food security and strengthening community welfare.
