Abstract

The capital market has become a cornerstone of modern economies, facilitating the flow of funds between investors and business entities to support growth and innovation. However, interest in investing in the Indonesian capital market still faces significant challenges, particularly in terms of risk understanding, perception, and individual motivation for investment. This research aims to explore the factors influencing individual investment interest in PT. Indonex Bangun Investama, a key player in the Indonesian capital market. The research adopts a quantitative approach involving 82 active investors of PT. Indonex Bangun Investama. Data analysis utilizes various statistical techniques such as normality tests, multicollinearity tests, and multiple linear regression analysis to examine the impact of risk, motivation, and investment knowledge variables on investment interest. The analysis results indicate that risk and motivation significantly affect investment interest, while investment knowledge, although important, does not significantly influence investment interest individually. These findings provide deeper insights into the psychological and economic factors underlying individual investment decisions in the Indonesian capital market. The implications of this research suggest the need for a more holistic and strategic educational approach to enhance financial literacy and effective risk mitigation in individual investment strategies. Thus, this research makes a significant contribution to the development of education strategies and risk management in the Indonesian capital market context, laying a foundation for further discussions on expanding accessibility and participation in investment among the public.

Abstract

Provinsi Kepulauan Riau memiliki potensi ekonomi yang besar, terutama di sektor perikanan dan pariwisata. Namun demikian, tingginya angka pengangguran menjadi tantangan utama yang berdampak langsung terhadap tingkat kemiskinan di wilayah ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pengangguran terhadap kemiskinan di Provinsi Kepulauan Riau. Data yang digunakan merupakan data sekunder dari Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) periode 2015–2020. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah regresi linear sederhana untuk mengetahui hubungan antara tingkat pengangguran dan tingkat kemiskinan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara pengangguran dan kemiskinan, di mana setiap peningkatan pengangguran sebesar 1% akan meningkatkan kemiskinan sebesar 0,78%. Faktor lain seperti ketimpangan wilayah, pendidikan, serta keterbatasan infrastruktur juga turut memengaruhi tingkat kemiskinan. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini merekomendasikan pentingnya peran pemerintah dalam menciptakan lapangan kerja melalui pengembangan sektor-sektor unggulan daerah, pelatihan vokasi, dan pemberdayaan UMKM. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi dasar bagi kebijakan pembangunan ekonomi yang lebih inklusif dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

The goal of this community service program was to assist teachers to learn more about technology and get better at using AI tools like ChatGPT, QuillBot, and Canva AI to make engaging learning materials. The program used a model of workshops where everyone could participate, followed by continuing mentoring and self-evaluation. Twenty English teachers from the Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran (MGMP) network went to SMPN 4 Gunung Sari for mixed-type training. Surveys, observations, and conversations were used to gather information. The results show that teachers' trust and ability to use AI in English Language Teaching (ELT) has grown significantly. Participants made lesson plans and teaching tools that used AI and shared the best ways to do things through digital communities. Teachers liked the practical method and were ready to keep using AI tools, even though there were some problems, like not enough infrastructures and not enough time for practice. This program shows that learning how to use AI can change the way teachers do their jobs and help schools build a culture of digital innovation that lasts. It is suggested that a training of trainers’ model be used to make the program more impactful to facilitate the MGMP community. Thus, it will create a chain effect that helps teachers become more independent and keeps the training going in their local areas.
