Abstract

Dalam rangka kepedulian terhadap masyarakat yang tertimpa musibah banjir di desa Jaketro Kecamatan Gubug Kabupaten Grobokan Jawa Tengah, Tim Pelaksana kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat Universitas Maritim AMNI (UNIMAR AMNI) bersama sivitas Akademik melaksanakan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat berupa operasi SAR (Search And Rescue) dalam rangka evakuasi pencarian korban di desa Jaketro. Kegiatan evakuasi pencarian korban banjir ini dilaksanakan bersama-sama dengan masyarakat desa Jaketro. Masyarakat bersama sivitas akademik UNIMAR AMNI Semarang, menyisir wilayah kecamatan Gubug untuk mengevakuasi korban banjir. Pengambilan data dalam penulisan ini diperoleh dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat secara langsung yang sebelumnya telah melaksanakan observasi kebutuhan evakuasi lapangan yang bertujuan untuk melaksanakan kegiatan masyarakat yang membutuhkan bantuan atas musibah banjir di desa Jaketro

Abstract

Exhaust gas systems in diesel generators require heat-resistant materials. The use of titanium metal is designed for exhaust gas system materials. Material coating system for high temperature applications known as Thermal Barrier Coating (TBC) has been applied to diesel engine materials. TB has the ability to reduce temperature on the surface and protect thermal oxidation at high temperatures. This research discusses the coating of hydroxyapatite (HA) ceramic material on titanium metal which will be used as a flue gas system material with variations in coating temperature. The method used is testing the chemical composition of titanium metal, macro microscope testing of ceramic coatings and adhesion testing with variable temperature specimens 7000C, 8000C and 9000C.

Abstract

Ships are a means of transportation over the sea, where ships play a vital role in the socio-economic aspect through their distribution function between regions. One part of the ship that is often damaged is the hull of the ship. The cause of hull damage is corrosion. The aspect of high and low level of corrosion on the hull is the salinity content in seawater. This study aims to determine the effect of salinity in seawater on the rate of corrosion on the hull plate with seawater media taken from the waters of the port of Tanjung Emas Semarang. This study used an experimental test method of weight loss (weight loss) referring to the ASTM G31-72 standard. With specimens made coupons to calculate the weight before immersion and weight calculation after soaking. Soaking is carried out for 7 days in the prepared corrosion installation. The results of this study indicate that seawater which has a higher salinity content than brackish water and fresh water has a higher corrosion rate than other coupon specimens.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country consisting of islands and oceans. The existence of ships as a means of sea transportation plays an important role in connecting between regions separated by the ocean in human distribution and logistics needs. Part of the ships that often suffers damage due to operational and corrosive environments is the hull. One of the protections for the hull is paint coating. As a protector on the ship the paint layer is thinning due to friction with water media which can cause damage to the paint layer and reduce the protection function of the ship's hull plate from corrosion. This study aims to determine the effect of the flow of seawater, fresh water and brackish water on the hull paint. This research uses an experimental method, with the experimental variables were three types of paint which are applied to the steel plate remaining from the ship's hull installation. In this study, a comparison of the paint layer was calculated before and after the specimen placement process on water variable media for 7 days with a constant flow rate. The results of this study indicate that seawater media has the highest level of depletion in the hull paint layer.

Abstract

Alur pelayaran merupakan bagian penting dari suatu pelabuhan, dan pengembangan serta pengelolaannya harus memperhatikan kebutuhan pelayaran. Dengan begitu, kecelakaan bisa diminimalisir atau bahkan dihilangkan. Alur Pelayaran Surabaya pula di keliling oleh sebagian pelabuhan yang lain, sehingga Alur Pelayaran Surabaya tidak cuma melayani pelabuhan Tanjung Perak, namun pula melayani pelabuhan- pelabuhan di sekitar Alur Pelayaran Surabaya. Sehingga butuh terdapatnya tinjauan spesial demi mendukung keselamatan pelayaran spesial nya untuk kapal- kapal yang melintasi Alur Pelayaran Surabaya. Berdasarkan uraian dan penjelasan diatas maka penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar tingkat keselamatan pada alur APBS serta apa saja yang harus dikerjakan guna meningkatkan keamanan pelayaran tersebut dan sebagai acuan standar keselamatan bagi alur pelayaran di pelabuhan-pelabuhan lainnya di sekitar Alur Pelayaran Barat Surabaya. Serta Penelitian hanya dilakukan di Lingkungan Alur Pelayaran Batar Surabaya. Penelitian dilakukan hanya kepada Variabel Resiko Kecelakaan yang terjadi Di Alur Pelayaran Barat Surabaya. Abstract

Kandungan garam atau biasa disebut salinitas pada air laut tergantung dari masing masing perairan yang dipengaruhi oleh lingkungan.Nilai salinitas merupakan tingkat kadar garamterlarut dalam air. Jenis garam yang terdapat di dalamnya antara lain 55% klorida, 31% natrium,8% sulfat, 4% magnesium, dan 2% garam lainnya. Partikel partikel yang mempengaruhi nilaisalinitas adalah partikel partikel yang terkandung di dalam air atau disebut kandungan TDS(Total Dissolve Solid). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui nilai salinitas dan nilai TDSpada air laut yang berada di pelabuhan tanjung emas semarang dengan metode di endapkan dandi sirkulasikan. Penulis menggunakan metode pengukuran salinitas dan TDS setiap hari selama7 hari pada media diendapkan dan media di sirkulasikan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukanbahwa nilai salinitas dan TDS pada media air laut di endapkan mengalami penurunan yangstabil sedangkan pada media air laut yang disirkulasikan memiliki nila salinitas dan TDS yangtetap tinggi.Hal ini dikarenakan kandungan mineral yang didalamnya terdapat garammengendap ke dasar air laut pada saat di endapkan,sedangakan pada air disirkulasikankandungan mineral larut dan menyebar pada air laut sehingga nilai TDS dan salinity tetaptinggi.

Abstract

The research conducted is an analysis of the effect of the main engine rotation (main engine) which tends to change during operation on the exhaust temperature of the main engine on a container ship with a weight of 35981GT. We conducted this research on a container ship KM SPIL Citra PT Salam Pacific Indonesia route during a cruise from Balik Papan Port, East Kalimantan to Bitung Port, North Sulawesi. The purpose of this research is to understand and find out how the main engine speed is determined accordingly so that the main engine exhaust gas is stable and not too high which causes the main engine performance decrease. The test is carried out when the ship is sailing in the middle of the sea in full away condition, the main propulsion engine (main engine) operates at 0.52 Rpm to 57 Rpm with an average running hour for each round of 4 hours. The maximum exhaust gas temperature obtained is 260 C. and the minimum temperature obtained is 230 C with an average temperature of cooling seawater and constant engine room temperature. The conclusion is known that the higher the main engine rotation, the higher the exhaust gas temperature of the main engine so that it is necessary to pay attention to the maximum Rpm limit of the engine so that high temperatures do not occur.
