Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know factors that affect demand for chicken eggs in the Pattiro Deceng Village, Camba District, Maros Regency. Study was conducted in january till june 2017 in the Pattiro Deceng Village, Camba District, Maros Regency. This kind of research using secondary data and the analysis used is regression. doubleThis research result that the variable, egg price income and the number of families to support no real bearing on request.

Abstract

The objectives of this study are: (1) To find out the trend of production, prices, and demand for corn in South Sulawesi (2) To find out the estimated production, prices, and demand for corn in South Sulawesi in 2016 up to 2020. This research was carried out in the scope of Sulawesi South regarding trends in production, prices, and demand for corn. The determination of this research area was determined intentionally. The type of data used is secondary data obtained from the central statistical body for use in analysis purposes. This study uses trend analysis methods to predict or find out how much the production, price, and demand for corn in South Sulawesi in 2016 to 2020. The results of the study show that (1) the trend of production, prices, and demand for corn in South Sulawesi fluctuate ( 2) Estimated production, price, and demand for corn in South Sulawesi from 2016 to 2020 has increased.

Abstract

Peanut agribusiness in this area has prospects to be developed considering that the available land resources are quite extensive, suitable climatic conditions, sufficient peanut cultivation technology is available, human resources are quite skilled in farming and the market is still wide open for peanut commodities. This research was carried out in Cenrana District, Maros Regency, this location was chosen because most of the villagers produce peanuts. There are two data used: primary data, namely data obtained from observations through direct interviews and also through the help of questionnaire lists, and secondary data, namely data obtained from agencies / institutions that are related or related to this research. The purpose of this study was to determine the prospects for developing peanut farming and to know the results of the production of farmers in the District of Cenrana. Data was collected from the survey results using a questionnaire and supplemented with observations / field observations. The data that has been collected is then tabulated to get the real data used for analysis. This study uses the SWOT Analysis method to determine the prospects for developing Peanut Farming in Cenrana District, Maros Regency, the results of the production of Peanut farmers. The results of this research can be seen the prospect of developing peanut farming is in quadrant I (one). This quadrant illustrates a very favorable situation for developing the farming business.

Abstract

Pulp corn is one type of corn with a pulut taste or sticky rice, so it is rather sticky and fluffier when boiled. This research was conducted in Simbang District, Maros Regency. This location was chosen with consideration of accedetial sampling. The data used are primary data obtained from observations through direct interviews and also through the help of questionnaire lists. The purpose of this study was to determine consumer responses to boiled pulut corn in Simbang District, Maros Regency, and to find out the most influential and dominant factors affecting boiled corn. Data was collected from the survey results using a questionnaire and added with observations / field observations. The collected data is then tabulated to obtain the real data used for analysis purposes. This research uses quantitative descriptive analysis method to determine consumer responses to boiled pulut corn, and the method of multiple regression analysis to determine the influential and most dominant factors affecting pulut boiled corn. The results of this study can be seen that the responses of consumers of Simbang District's boiled corn are included in the high category with price and taste indicators. The factors that significantly influence consumers' responses to boiled corn are price and taste.

Abstract

One of the national foodstuffs strived to be provided throughout the year is rice because rice is a staple food consumed by almost all Indonesian people. Indonesia's rice consumption is the highest rice consumption in Asia. This research was conducted in the village of Ampekale, Bontoa District, Maros Regency. This location was chosen with consideration that has long been managing mulberry plants. There are two data used, namely: primary data, namely data obtained from observations through direct interviews and also through the help of questionnaire lists and secondary data, namely data obtained from agencies / institutions that are related or related to this research. The purpose of this study is: Knowing how much rice farming income on small scale land obtained by farmers in the village of Ampekale Bontoa District, Maros Regency. Analyzing the technical efficiency of rice farming on small scale land in the village of Ampekale Bontoa District, Maros Regency. Data was collected from survey results using a questionnaire and supplemented with field observations. The data that has been collected is then tabulated to get the real data used for analysis. The results of this research can be seen the amount of income obtained from rice farming on a small scale land in the village of Ampekale, Bontoa District, Maros Regency, on average, is Rp. 976,500.00. And rice farming on a small scale land in Ampekale Village, Bontoa District, Maros Regency is technically efficient.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find factors that influences offer corn in South Sulawesi Province with using the production variables (X1), the price of corn (X2) and price of rice (X3) and to know variable dominant that influence the offer corn in South Sulawesi Province. The data used in this research was secondary data from year 2000-2015 which includes data production, the price of corn, and price of rice. Secondary data is obtained from the central bureau of statistics South Sulawesi. The method of analysis the data used was linear regression multiple. The research results show factors that the affect is the price of corn and widely distributed family corn harvest in to the comparison. The behavior of the acreage of a corn on the region of the development of more influenced by the fact that the level of fluctuations in the price of corn he who puts his trust, while in the case of the region of which are the centers of more influenced by the size of the previous year harvest in to the comparison. The opposite has happened on conduct productivity of low class corn where a modifier key ones of which are this had an impact on the region of which are the centers of is the price of corn, while in the case of the region of the development of is the extent of productivity of low class the previous year. The volume of exports of corn in South Sulawesi influenced by the fact that the prices of exported most of the corn and rupiah exchange value.

Abstract

Public consumption of sugar and other sweeteners as daily basic needs is increasing every year, along with the increasing population. The sugar-rich stalk of sweet sorghum has great potential for sugar, syrup, and as a sweetener. The characteristics of sweet sorghum stalks can produce sap similar to those produced by sugar cane. This study aims to determine consumer perceptions of sorghum sugar products and what factors influence consumer perceptions of sorghum sugar products. This type of research is a quantitative descriptive study with a survey approach. The research location is in Lau District, Maros Regency. The research sample was consumers of sorghum sugar who were selected by accidental sampling method with a total of 30 consumer respondents. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and documentation. To analyze consumer perceptions of sorghum sugar, index analysis techniques were used and multiple regression analysis models were used to analyze the factors affecting consumer perceptions of sorghum sugar. The results showed that: (1) Consumer perceptions of sorghum sugar products in Lau District, Maros Regency were included in the medium category with a value of 63.11%, and (2) The factors that significantly influence consumer perceptions of sorghum sugar products are taste, aroma, and texture.

Abstract

Empowerment is an effort to provide reinforcement to the community. This research was carried out in Tunikamaseang Village, Bontoa District, Maros Regency, aimed to: 1. To find out the empowerment of members of rice farmers through strengthening business capital in Tunikamaseang Village, Bontoa District, Maros Regency 2. Analyzing the factors that influence the empowerment of members of rice farmers through strengthening capital business in Tunikamaseang Village, Bontoa Subdistrict, Maros Regency. The population in this study were farmers. A simple random sample of farmers was determined by 25 (twenty-five) farmers. Data was collected from the survey results using a questionnaire and supplemented with observations / field observations. The data collected was then tabulated to obtain real data used for analysis purposes. The results showed that the empowerment of members of rice farmers through strengthening business capital in Tunikamaseang Village, Bontoa District, Maros Regency consisted of two, namely (1) empowerment of farmer groups in Tuniamaseang Village, Bontoa District, was included in the medium category with a number of 63.73. (2) the regression factor where X1 is education of 0.034 Farmers, X2 where the experience of farming is 0.129, and X3 where there is an area of ​​land of 0.043.

Abstract

Paddy rice commodity is one of the most important and strategic food crops as a source of supply of basic food needs in the form of rice. This research was carried out in the Pute Environment of Maccini Baji Village, Kecaatan lau, Maros Regency. This research aims to analyze the income of rice farmers based on land tenure. To take a sample the Simple Random Sampling Method is used. The data used are twofold: primary data that is data obtained directly from observations through direct interviews and also through the help of questionnaire lists and peer data that is data obtained from agencies / institutions that are related or related to this research. The purpose of this study: Determine the amount of income of the owner and non-owner farmers based on land tenure in the pute environment and the ratio of the income of the owner and non-owner farmers in terms of age, education level, farming experience, family dependents, land area and income of the owner and farmers non-owner farmers. Data collected from survey results using a questionnaire and added to observations / field observations. The collected data is then tabulated to obtain real data used for analysis. This study uses a quantitative descriptive analysis method to obtain an analysis of farmers' income and a comparison of the income of non-owner rice farmers and landowners in the Pute Environment of Maccini Village, Baji Lau District, Maros District. Maccini wages Lau Savings Maros district is the production, grain prices, receipts, farming costs and total income and income difference of farmers. Suggestions given are so that farmers can follow the cultivation recommended by PPL and improve the cultivation techniques carried out so far so that rice production can increased.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the level of response of farmers to the use of Combine Harvester in Bonto Marannu Village, Lau District, Maros Regency. And what factors influence farmers' responses to the use of Combine Harvester in Bonto Marannu Village, Lau District, Maros Regency. This research is located in the Village of Bonto Marannu, District of Lau, Maros Regency. Total population of farmers (respondents) is 30 people, where rice farmers who have 0.5 ha of land area are 6 people, land area of 1 ha 9 people, 1.5 ha 7 people, 2 ha 5 people and land area of 2.5 ha is 3 people. The results showed that the response of farmers to the use of a combined harvester machine in Lau sub-district of Maros Regency was included in the high category based on indicators of attitudes, knowledge and behavior of farmers towards the use of a combine harvester machine. And the factors that significantly influence the response of farmers to the use of a combine harvester machine are attitude, knowledge and behavior.
