Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk  melihat hubungan antara kontrol diri dengan kenakalan remaja.Variabel independent dalam penelitian ini adalahkontrol diri dan variabel dependent adalah kenakalan remaja.Alat ukur yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah skalakontrol diri dan Skalakenakalan remaja.Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Purposive Sampling dengan  jumlah sampel penelitian  sebanyak 66 orang.Uji validitas dan reliabilitas menggunakan teknik Alpha Cronbach.Hasil koefisien validitas pada skala kontrol diri berkisar dari 0,799 sampai 0,913, sedangkan koefisien reliabilitasnya sebesar 0,780.Hasil koefisien validitas pada skala kenakalan remaja berkisar dari 0,783 sampai 0,949, sedangkan koefisien reliabilitasnya sebesar 0,992. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan besarnya koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,644  dengan taraf signifikan p = 0,000. Artinya ada hubungan signifikan dengan arah positif antara kontrol diri dengan kenakalan remaja pada SMA X Padang.Sehingga dapat diartikan bahwa hipotesis dalam penelitian ini diterima. Sumbangan efektif variabel kontrol diri terhadap kenakalan remaja adalah sebanyak 41,47%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how much influence job satisfaction, emotional intelligence, and work stress on employee performance at PT. Padang Broad Bay. The method of collecting data through surveys and distributing questionnaires. The sample was 144 respondents and the analytical method used was regression analysis and correlation analysis. Based on the results of multiple regression analysis, the equation Ŷ = 21.790 + 0.256X1 + 0.615X2 - 0.482X3 is obtained. There is a positive and significant effect between job satisfaction (X1) on employee performance (Y), with a tcount of thitung 3.697 or a significantly smaller level than alpha (0,000 <0.05). Then there is a positive and significant effect between emotional intelligence (X2) on employee performance (Y), with a tcount of thitung 8.426 or a significantly smaller level than alpha (0,000 <0.05). Furthermore there is a negative and significant effect between work stress (X3) on employee performance (Y), with t hitung -3,697 or a significant level smaller than alpha (0,000> 0.05). Finally there is a significant influence between job satisfaction (X1), emotional intelligence (X2) and work stress (X3) together on employee performance (Y). There is also a strong relationship between each of these variables with a count of fhitung 75.486 or significantly smaller levels from alpha (0,000 <0.05).

Abstract

objective – The aim of this research is to determine the mediating role of job satisfaction in the effect of psychological empowerment on employee engagement. Design/Methodology/Approach - The population of this study is millennial generation employees at BUMN companies in Padang City. A sample of 67 respondents was taken through cluster random sampling technique, 15 companies were selected as research locations. The research instrument was a questionnaire in the form of a Likert scale. Testing the data through quantitative data analysis techniques structural equation models namely Structural Equation Modeling - PLS-based SEM. Findings – Research findings from SmartPLS v. data processing results. 3 shows that all the proposed hypotheses are proven to be supported. Psychological empowerment has a positive and significant (significant) effect on job satisfaction, psychological empowerment has a positive and significant (significant) effect on employee engagement, job satisfaction has a positive and significant (significant) effect on employee engagement, job satisfaction has no role in mediating psychological influences empowerment on employee engagement. Research limitations – This research is limited to the employee engagement variable and the research data was taken from 1 BUMN company in Padang City. Thus, the results of the study cannot be concluded in general. Originality – The research focus is on the effect of psychological empowerment on employee engagement and looking at the mediating role of job satisfaction variables.
