This research was a quasi-experiment instigated by the low of student character building. This research aimed at knowing the effect of implementing character building through guided inquiry strategy on electrolyte and non-electrolyte solution material at state senior high school 9 pekanbaru that characters studied were honesty, responsibility, cooperation, discipline, and curiosity. Purposive sampling was used in this research, and there were two classes of samples selected that the tenth grade of Natural Science 4 was as the experimental group taught by implementing Character Building through Guided Inquiry strategy and Natural Science 3 was as the control group taught by using discussion, question and answer methods. This research was conducted for three meetings. Documentation and observation were the techniques of collecting the data. T-test was used to know the research findings of student communication skill. Final data processing results showed that tobserved was 2.19 and ttable was 1.99, and it revealed that tobserved was higher than ttable. Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. There was an effect of implementing Character Building through Guided Inquiry strategy on Electrolyte and Non-Electrolyte Solution material at State Senior High School 9 Pekanbaru, and its coefficient effect was 5.86%.

Kalsium fosfat telah menjadi perhatian yang menarik dalam bidang medis dan kedokteran karena biocompatibilitynya yang baik dan struktur serta komposisi kimianya yang sama dengan fasa mineral jaringan keras manusia (tulang dan gigi). Penelitian ini difoukuskan untuk mempelajari faktor yang mempengaruhi morfologi dan komposisi fasa dari senyawa hydroxyapatite dengan menggunakan prekusor diammonium hydrogen phosphate sebagai sumber fosfat serta pengaruh kalsinasi pada suhu 200, 400, 600, 800 dan 1000oC. Produk hidroxyapatite yang dihasilkan dikarakterisasi dengan FTIR, XRD, SEM dan TGA. Hidroxyapatite yang dihasilkan dengan variasi suhu kalsinasi mempengaruhi morfologi dan komposisi fasa dari senyawa kalsium fosfat yang dihasilkan. Fasa yang terbentuk sebelum sampel powder fosfat dikalsinasi dengan (NH4)2HPO4 sebagai sumber fosfat adalah Ca2P2O7.2H2O dengan ukuran kristal 67 nm. Ketika sampel powder kalsium fosfat dikalsinasi pada temperatur 600ËC fasa yang terbentuk dengan menggunakan (NH4)2HPO4 sebagai sumber fosfat adalah hydroxiapatite (HAP) dengan ukuran kristal 8,66 nm Dan ketika sampel dikalsinasi pada temperatur 1000ËC fasa yang dihasilkan yaitu Ca2P2O7 dan Ca3(PO4)2.

The ability of betel nut skin as a biosorbent at a low cost to remove the metal ions Cd (II) from the solution has been investigated. This study shows the effect of pH of the solution, contact time and initial concentration on the absorption capacity of betel nut skin. The result of measurement of metal ion content of Cd (II) using AAS shows that optimum pH of biosorption is 6 and the optimum contact time is 15 minutes, while the optimum initial concentration of biosorption is 50 ppm. Based on FTIR spectroscopic spectra, it can be concluded that the functional groups which act as binding metal ions Cd (II) by betel nut skin as biosorbent are amine function group (N-H), alcohol (O-H) and carbonyl (C = O). The result of the langmuir isotherm obtained by the price of Q (maximum absorption) for metal Cd is 1.14 mg / g.

The Influence of Teacher Rules and Example on Student Learning Discipline in PAI Learning at SMA Negeri 1 Tebing Syahbandar, Tebing Syahbandar District, Serdang Bedagai Regency. Department of Islamic Religious Education, Islamic College (STAI) Tebingtinggi Deli. The aims of this research are: (1) To determine the significant influence of rules and regulations on the learning discipline of SMA N 1 Tebing Syahbandar students, (2) To determine the significant influence of teacher example on the learning discipline of SMA N 1 Tebing Syahbandar students, (3) To determine the significant influence between rules and teacher example on the learning discipline of SMA N1 Tebing Syahbandar students. The subjects in this research were class XII students at SMA Negeri 1 Tebing Syahbandar, totaling 143 students (respondents). The test results for the discipline variable show a tcount value of 1.333 and a sig value of 0.185. Where tcount > ttable (2.421 > 1.655) and the sig value (0.185 > 0.05). So according to the criteria for partial hypothesis testing, the first hypothesis is accepted, which means that there is a positive and significant influence between rules and regulations on student learning discipline at SMA N 1 Tebing Syahbandar. The results of the T test for the teacher exemplary variable show a t-count of 7.909 and a sig value of 0.000. Where tcount > ttable (7.909 > 1.655) and the sig value (0.000 < 0.05) then these results indicate that there is a positive and significant influence between teacher example on student learning discipline at SMA N 1 Tebing Syahbandar. The F test results obtained Fcount of 38,283 with a probability value (sig) = 0.000. The value of Fcount (38,283) > Ftable (3.06) and the sig value is smaller than the probability value of 0.05 or the value of 0.000 < 0.05. This proves that the hypothesis "there is a significant positive influence of teacher discipline and example on the learning discipline of students at SMA Negeri 1 Tebing Syahbandar is accepted". Therefore, it can be concluded that the discipline variable and the teacher exemplary variable together (simultaneously) influence student learning discipline.

AbstractGreen Chemistry is a new lesson in Merdeka Curriculum, so students and teachers need additional teaching materials used to support the learning process. This research aimed at designing and testing e-module for processing organic waste by making eco-enzymes on Green Chemistry lesson, and it was tested its validity based on validation by material and media experts, teacher practicality test, and student response test. Design and Development Research (DDR) model was used in this research. This research was administered at the tenth grade of class 1 at State Senior High School 5 Pekanbaru. The validation result by material expertsshowed that the score was 98.63% with very valid category, the validation result by media experts showed that the score was 95.51% with very valid category, the teacher practicality test result showed that the score was 95.83% with very valid category, and the student response practicality test result showed that the score was 83.11% with very valid category. Based on the validation and practicalityresults obtained, it could be concluded that e-module for processing organic waste by making eco-enzymes on Green Chemistry lesson was appropriate to be test as an additional teaching material in Chemistry learning.Keywords: E-Module, Processing Organic Waste, Eco-Enzyme, Green Chemistry

Background: Improper disposal of used cooking oil poses significant environmental challenges, including groundwater contamination and harm to aquatic ecosystems. Recycling used cooking oil into solid soap offers a sustainable solution to reduce waste while creating a valuable, eco-friendly product. Objective: This study aims to produce solid soap from used cooking oil with the addition of ecoenzyme and lemongrass extract and evaluate its potential as an environmentally friendly and antimicrobial soap. Method: Used cooking oil was refined using bagasse as an adsorbent to remove impurities. Ecoenzyme was produced by fermenting organic kitchen waste, sugar, and water for three months, while lemongrass extract was prepared by blending and filtering lemongrass stalks. The soap was formulated by saponifying refined used cooking oil with NaOH, ecoenzyme, and lemongrass extract. The physical properties of the soap were assessed. Results: The resulting soap was solid, creamy in color, and emitted a refreshing lemongrass aroma. Antimicrobial properties are potential due to the organic acids and enzymes in the ecoenzyme, combined with the bioactive compounds in lemongrass extract. Conclusion: Solid soap made from used cooking oil with ecoenzyme and lemongrass extract offers a sustainable and effective solution for waste recycling while providing natural antimicrobial and cleaning benefits.

Voltaic cell practical work using synthetic chemicals can produce waste that damages the environment, so environmentally friendly substitute materials are needed. Green Chemistry based practical work was not available yet at State Senior High School 1 Rambah, Rokan Hulu. This research aimed at knowing validity and practicality levels of Green Chemistry based practical work on Voltaic Cell topic designed. It was Research and Development with DDR model consisting of 3 steps–planning, designing and developing. This research was conducted to the twelfth-grade students of MIPA at State Senior High School 1 Rambah, Rokan Hulu. Based on research findings, Green Chemistry based practical work on Voltaic Cell topic designed showed that the validity percentages by material and media experts continuously were 96.66% and 94.12% with very appropriate criteria (valid). The practicality percentages of Chemistry subject teacher and student respond continuously were 88% and 92,9% with very practical criteria. Based on the data, it could be concluded that Green Chemistry based practical work designed was very appropriate and very practical to be used as a teaching material in supporting the implementation the practical work on Voltaic Cell topic.

AbstractThis research aimed at developing a product in the form of Android Based Chemistry learning application using Appypie as an instructional media on Compound Nomenclature lesson. This research was administered at State Senior High School 1 Siak Hulu. Designing Android based Chemistry instructional media was done by using development model adapting five early stages of Borg and Gall model. The subjects of this research were learning material experts, media design experts, Chemistry subject teachers, and the students. The object was Android based instructional media using Appypie. Instruments of this research were validity and practicality test questionnaires. Research findings showed that Android based instructional media using Appypie was stated valid with 78% percentage (valid) by material experts and 89% by the experts of Android based instructional media using Appypie. The designed media was stated practical by Chemistry subject teachers and students, 82 % percentage (very practical) was by Chemistry subject teachers and 87 % percentage (very practical) was by students. Based on these results, it could be concluded that Android based Chemistry learning application using Appypie as an instructional media on Compound Nomenclature lesson was valid and practical to be an instructional media at a school. Desain media pembelajaran kimia berbasis android dilakukan dengan menggunakan model pengembangan yang mengadaptasi lima tahap awal model Borg dan Gall. Subjek penelitian adalah ahli meteri pembelajaran, ahli desain media, guru kimia dan peserta didik di SMA Negeri 1 Siak Hulu dan objek penelitian adalah media pembelajaran berbasis android menggunakan “Appypie”. Instrumen penelitian yang di gunakan berupa data angket uji validitas dan angket uji praktikalitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran berbasis android menggunakan “Appypie” dinyatakan valid dengan persentase 78% (valid)

AbstractThis research was instigated with inadequate laboratory facilities and no green chemistry based practical work guideline at school. This research aimed at finding out validity and practicality levels of green chemistry based practical work guideline on electrochemistry lesson that was designed. Design & development research (DDR) method was used in this research consisted of 4 steps—analysis, design, development, and evaluation. This research was conducted to the twelfth-grade students of MIPA at State Senior High School 1 Kampar. The research findings showed that the percentages of green chemistry based practical work guideline by media and material experts continuously were 95% and 96.43% with very valid criteria. The practicality percentages by chemistry subject teachers and student response continuously were 91.96% and 83% with very practical criteria. Based on these data, it could be concluded that green chemistry based practical work guideline was very valid and very practical to be used as a teaching material on electrochemistry lesson.Keywords : DDR, Practical Work Guideline, Green Chemistry, Electrochemistry

Abstract This research aimed at designing Guided Note Taking (GNT) based module that was valid based on the validation by the experts of material and media, teacher practicality, and student response on Atomic Structure and Periodic System of the Elements lesson. It was R&D (Research and Development) with 4-D development model. It was administered at State Senior High School 12 Pekanbaru and it was conducted to the tenth-grade students of MIPA 4. The module could be stated proper if it complied the valid and practical aspects. Validity could be seen from the results of validation that the validation sheet was used. The percentage of the validation result by the experts of material overall was 94.74% and it was on very valid category. The percentage of the validation result by the experts of media overall was 86.6% and it was on very valid category. Practicality test was conducted to 3 teachers and it was obtained the result 84.44% and it was on very practical category. Student responses were obtained from 20 students, and the questionnaire result was 81.06% and it was on very good category.
