Abstract

AbstractGreen Chemistry is a new lesson in Merdeka Curriculum, so students and teachers need additional teaching materials used to support the learning process.  This research aimed at designing and testing e-module for processing organic waste by making eco-enzymes on Green Chemistry lesson, and it was tested its validity based on validation by material and media experts, teacher practicality test, and student response test.  Design and Development Research (DDR) model was used in this research.  This research was administered at the tenth grade of class 1 at State Senior High School 5 Pekanbaru.  The validation result by material expertsshowed that the score was 98.63% with very valid category, the validation result by media experts showed that the score was 95.51% with very valid category, the teacher practicality test result showed that the score was 95.83% with very valid category, and the student response practicality test result showed that the score was 83.11% with very valid category.  Based on the validation and practicalityresults obtained, it could be concluded that e-module for processing organic waste by making eco-enzymes on Green Chemistry lesson was appropriate to be test as an additional teaching material in Chemistry learning.Keywords: E-Module, Processing Organic Waste, Eco-Enzyme, Green Chemistry

Abstract

Voltaic cell practical work using synthetic chemicals can produce waste that damages the environment, so environmentally friendly substitute materials are needed.  Green Chemistry based practical work was not available yet at State Senior High School 1 Rambah, Rokan Hulu.  This research aimed at knowing validity and practicality levels of Green Chemistry based practical work on Voltaic Cell topic designed.  It was Research and Development with DDR model consisting of 3 steps–planning, designing and developing.  This research was conducted to the twelfth-grade students of MIPA at State Senior High School 1 Rambah, Rokan Hulu.  Based on research findings, Green Chemistry based practical work on Voltaic Cell topic designed showed that the validity percentages by material and media experts continuously were 96.66% and 94.12% with very appropriate criteria (valid). The practicality percentages of Chemistry subject teacher and student respond continuously were 88% and 92,9% with very practical criteria. Based on the data, it could be concluded that Green Chemistry based practical work designed was very appropriate and very practical to be used as a teaching material in supporting the implementation the practical work on Voltaic Cell topic.

Abstract

AbstractThis research aimed at developing a product in the form of Android Based Chemistry learning application using Appypie as an instructional media on Compound Nomenclature lesson.  This research was administered at State Senior High School 1 Siak Hulu.  Designing Android based Chemistry instructional media was done by using development model adapting five early stages of Borg and Gall model.  The subjects of this research were learning material experts, media design experts, Chemistry subject teachers, and the students.  The object was Android based instructional media using Appypie.  Instruments of this research were validity and practicality test questionnaires.  Research findings showed that Android based instructional media using Appypie was stated valid with 78% percentage (valid) by material experts and 89% by the experts of Android based instructional media using Appypie.  The designed media was stated practical by Chemistry subject teachers and students, 82 % percentage (very practical) was by Chemistry subject teachers and 87 % percentage (very practical) was by students.  Based on these results, it could be concluded that Android based Chemistry learning application using Appypie as an instructional media on Compound Nomenclature lesson was valid and practical to be an instructional media at a school.  Keywords: Instructional Media, Android, Appypie, Compound Nomenclature  AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk berupa aplikasi pembelajaran kimia berbasis android menggunakan “Appypie” sebagai media pembelajaran pada materi tata nama senyawa, penelitian ini dilakukan di SMA Negeri 1 Siak Hulu. Desain media pembelajaran kimia berbasis android dilakukan dengan menggunakan model pengembangan yang mengadaptasi lima tahap awal model Borg dan Gall. Subjek penelitian adalah ahli meteri pembelajaran, ahli desain media, guru kimia dan peserta didik di SMA Negeri 1 Siak Hulu dan objek penelitian adalah media pembelajaran berbasis android menggunakan “Appypie”. Instrumen penelitian yang di gunakan berupa data angket uji validitas dan angket uji praktikalitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran berbasis android menggunakan “Appypie” dinyatakan valid dengan persentase 78% (valid)
