Abstract

Pemisahan suku kata pada dokumen digital sering kali dilakukan apabila saat menuliskan sebuah berita atau informasi sebuah kata harus di penggal menurut suku kata dikarenakan tempat yang tidak mencukupi. Apabila menggunakan tool atau aplikasi editor yang canggih biasanya pengaturan tulisan berkaitan dengan tempat dapat dilakukan secara otomatis tanpa harus memenggal sebuah kata menurut suku katanya. Dengan menggunakan tool yang bukan khusus untuk editor teks biasanya teks yang melebihi area tidak dapat secara otomatis menyesuaikan sehingga penulis berita akan memenggal kata untuk menyesuaikan tempat. Pemisahan suku kata yang dilakukan tidak sesuai dengan kaidah pemisahan suku kata dalam bahasa Indonesia, hanya berdasarkan masalah tempat yang penting kata tersebut masuk dalam area, sehingga terjadi pemisahan suku kata yang kurang pas di baca. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan dokumen digital yang diambil dari sebuah website berita tribunnews. Dokumen digital dalam bentuk format image kemudian dirubah ke dalam format teks, selanjutnya diproses dimasukkan ke dalam basis data. Data yang sudah masuk dalam basis data di olah menggunakan metode Syllabification dan String Matching. Proses yang dihasilkan dapat mengetahui pemisahan yang sesuai dengan kaidah pemisahan bahasa Indonesia. Jumlah kata yang mempunyai tanda hubung diperoleh dari data artikel sejumlah 2084, jumlah kata yang tanda hubungnya sudah sesuai silabifikasi sejumlah 1650, sedangkan jumlah kata yang tanda hubungnya belum sesuai silabifikasi sejumlah 434. Sehingga kesalahan dalam memisahkan suku kata yang belum sesuai silabifikasi sebanyak 20%.

Abstract

Tourism is an important sector in the economic growth of a region. In the current digital era, chatbot technology based on Natural Language Processing (NLP) has become an innovative solution to facilitate interaction between humans and machines. This research aims to develop a chatbot that can help tourists find tourist destinations located in Semarang Regency. This Chatbot development method involves analyzing user needs, collecting tourist destination data, and implementing Natural Language Processing (NLP) algorithms to understand tourist questions and requests. This chatbot is designed to provide accurate and relevant information based on tourist questions, thereby improving the user experience in searching for tourist destinations in Semarang Regency.

Abstract

Kontaminasi mikroba dalam proses pembuatan bibit jamur menjadi tantangan utama bagi petani, dengan tingkat kontaminasi mencapai lebih dari 40%. Kondisi ini membuat banyak petani, termasuk mitra PKT Subur Jaya, bergantung pada pasokan dari daerah lain karena masih menggunakan peralatan sederhana seperti panci presto atau autoclave standar. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan dan pendampingan penggunaan autoclave otomatis yang mampu mengontrol suhu hingga 121°C dan tekanan 1,1 atm bagi petani di PKT Subur Jaya. Melalui kegiatan ini, diharapkan petani dapat meningkatkan keberhasilan produksi bibit, menjaga stabilitas ketersediaan, dan mengurangi ketergantungan pada bibit dari luar. Metode yang digunakan meliputi kaji tindak partisipatif mulai dari identifikasi masalah hingga pelatihan dan evaluasi. Target kegiatan ini adalah agar petani mampu memproduksi bibit sendiri dengan tingkat kegagalan produksi maksimal 30%.

Abstract

North Halmahera Regency, located in North Maluku, is home to the Tobelo language, which serves as the original language of the region and is widely spoken throughout North Maluku. Unfortunately, many residents, particularly teenagers residing in the city and its surrounding areas, are not familiar with the Tobelo language. This lack of awareness can be attributed to the absence of Tobelo language instruction in schools. To address this issue and facilitate the introduction of the Tobelo language, a research project was undertaken. The objective was to develop an Android-based Tobelo language dictionary application, leveraging the Boyer-Moore method. The purpose of this application is to support the learning process and preservation of the Tobelo language. The Tobelo language dictionary application was created using the Java programming language and the Android Studio platform. Its design emphasizes an intuitive and user-friendly interface, enabling users to easily search for words and translate them from Tobelo to Indonesian. The implementation of the Boyer-Moore string search method ensures swift and efficient word search functionality within the application's extensive dictionary database.

Abstract

This community service project addresses the issue of teaching Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in Semarang Regency, which is still dominated by linear methods and lacks visualization, hindering students' comprehension of complex ICT concepts. The goal is to enhance educators' ability to design visual-based teaching modules supported by Dual Coding Theory and Constructivism. The solution provided was an intensive workshop and collaborative mentoring on both manual and digital mind mapping techniques. The results showed a significant increase in educators' cognitive competency, indicated by the average score rising from 55.4% on the pre-test to 88.2% on the post-test. Participants successfully designed digital mind map-based ICT modules with an average product quality score of 88.9%. This success proves the effectiveness of mind mapping as a pedagogical tool for transforming ICT learning into a more active, visual, and structured experience.

Abstract

Microbial contamination in making oyster mushroom planting media is a problem that every mushroom farmer often experiences. The main obstacle experienced by farmers is that the level of contamination in making media is still high, around 20%. This causes mushroom farmers to be reluctant to make their mushroom media (baglog). The application of intelligent machines to control the sterilization process of mushroom media controlled by a microcontroller is expected to overcome the problems experienced by farmers. The training program for making oyster mushroom media is a significant effort to support the growth and development of the oyster mushroom cultivation industry. This abstract summarizes the training program's objectives, methodology, results, and impact in increasing farmers' understanding and skills in producing high-quality media for oyster mushroom cultivation. This program aims to provide in-depth knowledge to participants, starting from mixing the composition of ingredients, the sterilization process, and the process of planting seeds (inoculation) in accordance with media-making standards. Through intensive training, participants learn the latest raw material selection, formulation, sterilization, and media packaging techniques. The training also includes hands-on media-making practice, enabling participants to master the necessary skills. In addition, this training program also allows participants to understand the importance of sustainable practices in oyster mushroom cultivation by integrating ecological aspects in media production. This helps in maintaining environmental balance and supports sustainable industrial growth.

Abstract

Oyster mushroom farming is a business practice for six SMEs in the Pongangan Gunungpati region. The fact that the production tools still in use are basic presents one of the main challenges to oyster mushroom cultivation. The production scale for fresh oyster mushrooms is still quite limited, and it has not been able to satisfy market demand. Additionally, production standards and good crop management have not been adopted. Among MSME members, production management and marketing management are still conducted independently, so that the circulation of fresh mushroom production and marketing is not optimal. Changes in climate and seasons are difficult to foresee and have a propensity to occur, and the popular perception that mushroom cultivation is difficult and can only be done in the highlands contributes to the low level of interest in mushroom farming. The inability of mushroom farmers to condition the mushroom house in accordance with applicable regulations and the absence of technology capable of maintaining stable temperature and humidity in the mushroom house area. Currently, mushroom growers in the Pongangan subdistrict still utilize a rudimentary irrigation mechanism and manually water their crops each morning and evening. The objective of the performed service activities is to use appropriate technology to condition the air’s temperature and humidity to match the natural circumstances of oyster mushrooms.
