Abstract

This study aims to identify and identify life skills education through non-formal education for persons with physical disabilities.  Individuals who have physical limitations are called persons with physical disabilities.  In the social environment, society tends to give negative stigma to people with physical disabilities and other problems that are in the spotlight are the low participation and provision of job opportunities for people with disabilities in obtaining work.  This study used qualitative research methods.  This research is sourced from secondary data obtained from documents, journals related and in line with physical disabilities and life skills education for physical disabilities.  The result of this literature review is that empowerment of disabled groups must be carried out to increase participation in various fields of social life with adequate and relevant work skills.  Skill enhancement is provided to gain accessibility for persons with disabilities, one of which is through non-formal education programs, namely life skills education.  Vocational rehabilitation as a form of life skills education through non-formal education is carried out by providing services in the form of skills training activities that aim to cultivate, develop and increase the potential possessed by persons with disabilities, especially persons with physical disabilities.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui fenomena remaja kecanduan game online yang terjadi di Desa Deli Tua, Kecamatan Namorambe, faktor-faktor yang menjadi penyebab terjadinya fenomena remaja kecanduan game online di Desa Deli Tua, Kecamatan Namorambe, Bagaimana dampak yang ditimbulkan dari adanya fenomena remaja kecanduan game online di Desa Deli Tua, Kecamatan Namorambe. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa fenomena remaja kecanduan game online di Desa Deli Tua mencapai titik terparah saat pandemi covid-19 terjadi. Rata-rata yang kecanduan game online adalah anak usia sekolah, mulai dari usia 12-18 tahun. Banyak hal yang mempengaruhi dan menjadi penyebab mengapa fenomena tersebut terjadi. Mulai dari remaja itu sendiri, orangtua atau keluarga, faktor lingkungan, maupun proses pembelajaran yang diikuti oleh remaja di sekolah. Dampak yang ditimbulkan dari kecanduan game online ini berdampak pada aspek kehidupan remaja yang meliputi aspek kesehatan, psikologis, akademik, sosial, dan keuangan.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and describe the results of the Supervision, Monitoring, and Evaluation carried out on educational standards at the SOS Children's Village institution, Medan City. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The results of the research from the supervision of the standards of educators and education staff were found that educators and education staff at SOS Children's Village were known as educators, foster mothers, and aunts who served their souls. Meanwhile, the results of supervision on graduate competency standards are that SOS seeks to prioritize life skills for foster children by having at least 1 life skill, and is facilitated. The results of monitoring the standard of facilities and infrastructure are found that the standard of facilities and infrastructure owned by the SOS institution is categorized as good and maintenance is carried out to keep it in good condition or ready for use. Meanwhile, the results of monitoring of SOS financing standards are sufficient for economic needs to provide a very decent education for foster children. And finally, from the results of the evaluation of the content standards, it was found that SOS Children's Village provided two programs, namely SFC (SOS Family Care) and FSP (Family Strengthening Program). Meanwhile, based on the results of the process evaluation of the SOS Children's Village management that the existing program is running well.

Abstract

In online learning that uses e-learning, whether it is effective or not is largely determined by the effectiveness of the LMS model used. This study aims to describe the effectiveness of using LMS SIPDA compared to LMS Google Classroom at the Department of Public Education, State University of Medan. The assessment indicators used in this study include indicators of teaching quality, level of teaching, intensity, and time. The research method used is quantitative research with a descriptive approach. The research instrument used in this study was a questionnaire distributed via Google Form. The data analysis technique of this research used descriptive quantitative analysis in the form of percentages. The results obtained an average of 77.66% with the category agreeing that the level of effectiveness of using SIPDA LMS is higher than Google Classroom. So it can be concluded that users feel more effective in using SIPDA LMS than Google Classroom, with a negative value on internet connection (WiFi or Internet Quota) in accessing SIPDA LMS which is much stronger and more stable than accessing Google Classroom.
