Abstract

At the beginning of the establishment of the reading park it was intended as a means of reading for the community, but due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the reading garden no longer functions as it used to, there was a decrease in visits by people who initially visited the reading garden a lot. Based on observations, the decrease in the interest of reading garden visitors was caused by several things, namely 1) the design of the reading park location was not well organized; 2) A collection of reading gardens that are less varied and not updated; 3) Social restrictions imposed during the Covid-19 pandemic; and 4) the lack of understanding of the management of the reading park (Community for the Children of the Pond Village and Karang Taruna) regarding the management of an attractive reading park and in accordance with health protocol standards during the Covid-19 pandemic. Therefore, based on this problem, a solution was agreed upon to provide strengthening of the governance of the community reading garden for the Children's Community in the Pool Village and the Karang Taruna in the Pool Village as the manager of the "Melati" Community Reading Park in the Pool Village and make the reading garden a means of learning for children during the Covid period. -19.Keywords: Community Reading Gardens, Children's Learning Facilities, Covid-19

Abstract

Kompetensi yang dimiliki oleh pendidik atau tutor di PKBM Hanuba belum seutuhnya ada didalam diri mereka, masih adanya tutor yang mengajar tidak sesuai dengan bidangnya membuat transfer of knowledge dan penguasaan materi kurang maksimal dan optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui 1) kesenjangan antara teori profesi kependidikan dengan profesi tutor di PKBM Hanuba; 2) bagaimana penerapan 4 kompetensi pendidik pada setiap tutor PKBM Hanuba; dan 3) bagaimana sistem manajemen pendidikan pada PKBM Hanuba. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Lokasi penelitian di PKBM Hanuba Kota Medan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik pemeriksaan keabsahan data menggunakan teknik triangulasi sumber dan teknik. Analisis data melalui pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan/verifikasi data

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan proses pembelajaran orang dewasa (Andragogi) di LKP Kursus Menjahit Kutilang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif dimana subjek dalam penelitian ibu Hj. Zulfizahara Nst, pendiri LKP Kursus Menjahit Kutilang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Pada penelitian ini hasil yang ditemukan: 1) proses terbentuknya LKP Kursus Menjahit Kutilang; 2) Kondisi LKP Kursus Menjahit Kutilang pada saat ini menyebabkan kurangnya semangat belajar peserta; 3) Proses pembelajaran peserta di LKP Kursus Menjahit Kutilang; dan 4) hambatan yang terjadi dari mulai awal tahap proses terbentuknya sampai dengan hambatan yang di hadapi LKP Kursus Menjahit Kutilang sekarang pada peserta di masa pandemi covid 19.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui fenomena remaja kecanduan game online yang terjadi di Desa Deli Tua, Kecamatan Namorambe, faktor-faktor yang menjadi penyebab terjadinya fenomena remaja kecanduan game online di Desa Deli Tua, Kecamatan Namorambe, Bagaimana dampak yang ditimbulkan dari adanya fenomena remaja kecanduan game online di Desa Deli Tua, Kecamatan Namorambe. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa fenomena remaja kecanduan game online di Desa Deli Tua mencapai titik terparah saat pandemi covid-19 terjadi. Rata-rata yang kecanduan game online adalah anak usia sekolah, mulai dari usia 12-18 tahun. Banyak hal yang mempengaruhi dan menjadi penyebab mengapa fenomena tersebut terjadi. Mulai dari remaja itu sendiri, orangtua atau keluarga, faktor lingkungan, maupun proses pembelajaran yang diikuti oleh remaja di sekolah. Dampak yang ditimbulkan dari kecanduan game online ini berdampak pada aspek kehidupan remaja yang meliputi aspek kesehatan, psikologis, akademik, sosial, dan keuangan.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana penerapan pembelajaran andragogi di Pusat Kegiatan Belajar Masyarakat (PKBM) Hanuba di Jalan A.H. Nasution, Medan, Sumatera Utara. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat membangun motivasi dan sebagai referensi dalam membentuk lembaga pendidikan masyarakat melalui penerapan pembelajaran andragogi di PKBM Hanuba. Metode penelitian dilakukan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi dan studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh yaitu PKBM Hanuba telah menerapkan pendekatan pembelajaran andragogi berbasis kontekstual, prinsip pembelajaran yang diterapkan seperti pembelajaran berbasis masalah, cara cara belajar, evaluasi diri, melibatkan perasaan dalam mengatur emosi serta bebas dari ancaman. Asumsi belajar yang digunakan seperti: kesiapan diri, motivasi dan gaya belajar andragogi yang diterapkan adalah gaya belajar visual dan audio visual. Pelaksanaan sudah dilaksanakan dengan sangat baik namun terdapat  permasalahan yang terjadi di PKBM Hanuba adalah orientasi belajar warga belajar berpusat pada ijazah dan motivasi dalam diri warga belajar yang rendah.Analysis of the Application of Andragogy Learning at PKBM Hanuba MedanAbstract: This study aims to determine how the implementation of andragogy learning at the Hanuba Community Learning Activity Center (PKBM) on Jalan A.H. Nasution, Medan, North Sumatra. This research is expected to build motivation and as a reference in establishing community education institutions through the application of andragogy learning in PKBM Hanuba. The research method is a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data collection techniques were carried out by interview, observation and literature study. The results obtained are that PKBM Hanuba has applied a contextual-based andragogy learning approach, applied learning principles such as problem-based learning, learning methods, self-evaluation, involving feelings in regulating emotions and being free from threats. The learning assumptions used are: self-readiness, motivation and andragogy learning styles applied are visual and audio-visual learning styles. The implementation has been carried out very well, but there are problems that occur in PKBM Hanuba, namely the learning orientation of learning citizens is centered on diplomas and low motivation in learning residents.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and describe the results of the Supervision, Monitoring, and Evaluation carried out on educational standards at the SOS Children's Village institution, Medan City. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The results of the research from the supervision of the standards of educators and education staff were found that educators and education staff at SOS Children's Village were known as educators, foster mothers, and aunts who served their souls. Meanwhile, the results of supervision on graduate competency standards are that SOS seeks to prioritize life skills for foster children by having at least 1 life skill, and is facilitated. The results of monitoring the standard of facilities and infrastructure are found that the standard of facilities and infrastructure owned by the SOS institution is categorized as good and maintenance is carried out to keep it in good condition or ready for use. Meanwhile, the results of monitoring of SOS financing standards are sufficient for economic needs to provide a very decent education for foster children. And finally, from the results of the evaluation of the content standards, it was found that SOS Children's Village provided two programs, namely SFC (SOS Family Care) and FSP (Family Strengthening Program). Meanwhile, based on the results of the process evaluation of the SOS Children's Village management that the existing program is running well.

Abstract

In online learning that uses e-learning, whether it is effective or not is largely determined by the effectiveness of the LMS model used. This study aims to describe the effectiveness of using LMS SIPDA compared to LMS Google Classroom at the Department of Public Education, State University of Medan. The assessment indicators used in this study include indicators of teaching quality, level of teaching, intensity, and time. The research method used is quantitative research with a descriptive approach. The research instrument used in this study was a questionnaire distributed via Google Form. The data analysis technique of this research used descriptive quantitative analysis in the form of percentages. The results obtained an average of 77.66% with the category agreeing that the level of effectiveness of using SIPDA LMS is higher than Google Classroom. So it can be concluded that users feel more effective in using SIPDA LMS than Google Classroom, with a negative value on internet connection (WiFi or Internet Quota) in accessing SIPDA LMS which is much stronger and more stable than accessing Google Classroom.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi jumlah pengangguran di Indonesia 7,86 juta orang pada Agustus 2023. Salah upaya menurunkannya adalah dengan melakukan pendidikan kecakapan vokasional yang dilakukan di Lembaga Kursus dan Pelatihan (LKP) F2F sebagai salah satu bentuk pendidikan yang memberikan layanan pendidikan bagi masyarakat yaitu kursus menjahit. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan pendidikan kecakapan vokasional di LKP F2F dan menganalisis permasalahan dalam pelaksanaannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan subjek penelitian yaitu isntruktur kursus menjahit dan warga belajar sebanyak 11 orang. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini adalah pelaksanaan pembelajaran ada tiga tahap yaitu; 1) perencanaan dengan melibatkan warga belajar dan unsur-unsur pendukung lainnya, 2) pelaksanaan program dilakukan dengan waktu yang ditentukan instruktur akan tetapi dianggap kurang efektif karena warga belajar kurang melakukan praktek, 3) metode pembelajaran menggunakan metode demonstrasi dan dilengkapi dengan media pembelajaran audiovisual, 4) penilaian dilaukkan secara langsung dan uji kompetensi, 5) instruktur kurang mampu meningkatkan motivasi belajar warga belajar.
