Abstract

This article discusses the social restrictions: mujahadah as a spiritual bridge in Sufistic ethics in the pandemic era. Some Muslim societies do not understand the Covid-19 pandemic, so they shut themselves and even refuse to make changes, especially in implementing worship. They believe in the loss of ethical aspects of religious teachings that they believe in because of trapped in fiqh-oriented dogmas and glued to jurisprudential texts so that they become exclusive and radical. Understanding and knowing human nature is a door to knowing oneself, life, the environment, nature, and God. If a man does not know himself, surely he will not know his God. Recognition and understanding of human nature require earnest mujahadah as a bridge for the establishment of religious qualities that balance esoteric and exoteric aspects. Humans are free social beings but limited by divine laws to maintain the authenticity of humanity. Social restrictions such as constitutional ijtihad that permeates the formal aspects of religion are a manifestation so that humans remain ihsan to themselves, others, and their environment. The Covid-19 pandemic is a love letter from God as the holy verses revealed to the Prophet Muhammad as a warning because humans have been separated from the cycling of other orbits, namely God and nature. Social restrictions as constitutional ijtihad are the right moment for humans to return to greet God, themselves, nature, and khuruj from a materialistic vision of life.

Abstract

This research aims to: 1) Describe the intensity of participating in religious activities of class XI students at SMA Negeri 6 Jeneponto; 2) Describe the Islamic social behavior of class XI students at SMA Negeri 6 Jeneponto; 3) Testing the influence of the intensity of participating in religious activities on the Islamic social behavior of class XI students at SMA Negeri 6 Jeneponto. This type of research is quantitative research using an ex post facto method with a simple linear regression research design. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 6 Jeneponto. The population in this study was class XI students at SMA Negeri 6 Jeneponto, totaling 360 people. Meanwhile, the sample in this study was 50 people using a simple random sampling method. Data collection in this research used a questionnaire instrument which was analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. Based on the results of the descriptive analysis, it can be concluded that the intensity of participating in religious activities for class XI students at SMA Negeri 6 Jeneponto is in the medium category with a percentage of 70%. Meanwhile, the Islamic social behavior of class XI students at SMA Negeri 6 Jeneponto is also in the medium category with a percentage result of 66%. From the results of the analysis, tcount = 2.98, while the implication value ttable = 1.677 for a significance level of 5%. Because tcount is greater than ttable, it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and HI is accepted. This means that there is an influence of the intensity of participating in religious activities on the Islamic social behavior of class XI students at SMA Negeri 6 Jeneponto. The implication of this research is that school principals should implement more familiarization with religious activities at school. Because an institution managed by a leader who has a strong Islamic commitment and broad insight will run orderly and dynamically. Islamic religious education teachers should use several methods in delivering material which must be supported by example or the habit of good attitudes. Because without habituation, the implementation of religious activities will be less than optimal. Students should get used to following and deepening religious qualities and carrying out activities with positive values to avoid negative things. For future researchers, this research can be used as reference material in conducting research on religious activities and Islamic social behavior.

Abstract

: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh sistem boarding school (asrama) terhadap pembentukan karakter kemandirian peserta didik Program Keagamaan di MAN 3 Kota Makassar. Sistem boarding school memungkinkan peserta didik untuk berinteraksi dalam lingkungan yang terstruktur selama 24 jam, yang diharapkan mampu membentuk kemandirian mereka dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain ex post facto. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 106 peserta didik yang dipilih menggunakan teknik proportionate stratified random sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, angket, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif dan inferensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem boarding school memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap pembentukan karakter kemandirian peserta didik. Program keagamaan yang diterapkan di MAN 3 Kota Makassar, seperti salat berjamaah, pengajian kitab kuning, dan tahfizh Al-Qur’an, berkontribusi dalam membentuk sikap mandiri, disiplin, dan bertanggung jawab. Meskipun demikian, masih terdapat beberapa kendala seperti perbedaan tingkat adaptasi peserta didik terhadap kehidupan asrama dan keterbatasan sumber daya manusia dalam pengelolaan asrama. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa sistem boarding school dapat menjadi model pendidikan yang efektif dalam menanamkan kemandirian peserta didik, namun perlu adanya optimalisasi dalam pengelolaan fasilitas dan pembinaan peserta didik agar hasil yang dicapai lebih maksimal.
