Abstract

This Holistic Village Development and Empowerment Program (PHP2D) aims to increase the productivity of broiler duck farmers in Dayu Village, Nglebok District, Blitar Regency, covering the level of knowledge, skills and income. The disseminated system is an integrated farming system between livestock waste in the form of duck droppings and wood shavings as a medium for growing maggots. Furthermore, the cultivated maggot is processed and used as one of the feed ingredients for broiler ducks. This activity is carried out for 5 months in 2020. The method used is counseling, training and mentoring. The material provided consisted of maggot cultivation, broiler duck cultivation, making ration formulations, and implementing an integrated farming system between maggot and broiler ducks. Monitoring and evaluation is carried out through pretest before the activity and posttest after the activity. The data were tabulated using excel and analyzed using a qualitative descriptive approach. The results obtained are that there is a trend of increasing partner knowledge by 40%, increasing partner skills by 45%, and increasing partner income by 40%. Feed management and broiler duck farming activities based on integrated farming can increase the level of knowledge, skill level and income level of broiler duck farmers in Dayu Village, Nglegok District, Blitar Regency.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan di Desa Krisik, Kecamatan Gandusari, Kabupaten Blitar untuk mengetahui tingkat pengetahuan peternak tentang mastitis. Metode penelitian meliputi pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif, dengan data dikumpulkan melalui survei, wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa 75% peternak telah berusaha lebih dari 15 tahun, 75% berusia di atas 40 tahun, 79,2% berpendidikan SD, dan 37,5% memiliki 11-15 ekor ternak. Penanganan mastitis meliputi tingkat kejadian 100%, dengan 45,8% kejadian dalam 1-6 bulan terakhir. Sebanyak 66,7% tidak memberikan antibiotik intra-mammary, 75% memberikan antibiotik injeksi intramuskular, dan 70,8% memberikan vitamin secara injeksi atau oral. Penanganan tradisional tidak dilakukan oleh 70,8% peternak, dan tingkat keberhasilan penanganan mencapai 41,7%. Upaya pencegahan meliputi sanitasi lingkungan dan ternak dua kali sehari (100% dan 58,3%), teat dipping tidak pernah dilakukan oleh 91,6%, pengecekan mastitis rutin tidak dilakukan oleh 58,3%, penggunaan bedding 1 ternak 1 alas (70,8%), dan striping puting sebelum dan sesudah pemerahan (54,2%). Tingkat pengetahuan peternak terhadap mastitis di Desa Krisik mendapatkan skor 3,1 (tahu).

Abstract

This study aims to determine how much influence Motivation and Work Discipline have on the Performance of Traffic Unit Members of Bekasi Metro Police. Good motivation and work discipline are predicted to be variables that can continuously improve member performance. The author's purpose in conducting this study was to determine and analyze motivation, work discipline and member performance as well as the magnitude of the influence of motivation and work discipline on the performance of Traffic Unit members of Bekasi Metro Police, both simultaneously and partially. The method used in this study is a method with a quantitative descriptive approach. The sample in this study was 36 members of the Traffic Unit of Bekasi Metro Police. The data in this study are primary data, where the data was obtained from respondents' answers to the questionnaire that the author distributed. Based on the data analysis results that the author has done, it was found that there is an influence of motivation and discipline on the performance of Traffic Unit members of Bekasi Metro Police, both partially and simultaneously. Member performance is influenced by motivation and discipline variables by 56.6% and the remaining 43.4% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study.

Abstract

PT. Sabindo Raya Gemilang is an exporter of shrimp and fish in Indonesia. This company requires an enormous flow of electricity to support activities so that it is not bothered by blackouts from the PLN. A generator set or genset is a substitute for a voltage source. The problem is that genset damage requires reliable mechanical handling. Junior mechanics sometimes misanalyze damage, requiring the supervision of a senior mechanic. This study applies an expert system with the Case-Based Reasoning (CBR) method to detect genset damage. It meets the case researched for having old cases to compare to new ones through the Retrieve, Reuse, Revise, and Retain so that problems are solved easily and quickly. The validity test showed that 5 of 6 test data were equal to the expert's diagnosis. Expert system accuracy 83%. There was a system diagnosis different from experts because the system’s diagnosis was based on the symptoms weight calculation and made a diagnosis with the highest similarity value. Meanwhile, experts observed the genset damage directly.
