Abstract

Abstract

In the era of globalization and business digitalization, improving the quality of customer service is a crucial aspect for company success. Companies that are able to provide optimal and responsive service tend to maintain customer satisfaction and compete effectively in an increasingly tight market. Therefore, the use of the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework is a strong foundation for managing and improving service quality. This research focuses on analyzing service quality in the ITIL V3 Service Design domain, by applying this framework to a significant e-commerce application, namely Lazada. Lazada, as a leading platform in Southeast Asia, has been an example of providing superior customer experience through its services. This research explains the role of ITIL in managing service quality, with an emphasis on the Service Design domain. This study uses a combination of methods, including literature study, questionnaire survey of Lazada users, and observation of application infrastructure. The analysis results show that Lazada has reached a high level of maturity in ITIL V3 Domain Service Design, with all subdomains reaching maturity level 4. However, there is room for improvement, especially in information security. The conclusion shows that Lazada can continue to maintain customer satisfaction and competitiveness in a competitive market by continuing to improve service quality, especially in aspects found through gap analysis.

Abstract

This research aims to systematically examine the strategic role of family businesses in entrepreneurship education for students with special needs in Indonesia. Entrepreneurship education has become an important approach to increase economic independence, especially for individuals with special needs who face challenges in accessing formal employment. Family business as a family-based economic unit has great potential as a contextualized, flexible and supportive means of entrepreneurship learning. This Systematic Literature Review (SLR) analyzes 25 relevant national and international journal articles, published between 2019-2025, with a focus on the integration of family business in entrepreneurship education for people with disabilities. The results show that family businesses can provide an inclusive learning environment, build practical skills, and strengthen family involvement in the education process. However, challenges still arise in the form of limited resources, access to training and supporting policies. This study recommends the need for collaboration between schools, families and government in designing a family business-based entrepreneurship curriculum that is adaptive to the needs of students with special needs. The findings make an important contribution to the development of a more inclusive and sustainable entrepreneurship education model in Indonesia.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic brought some challenges to the continuity of educational activities around the world. In the Indonesian context, the government mandated the shift from face-to-face classrooms to online learning which burdened science teachers in maintaining laboratory instructions. Due to the closure of the schools, Indonesian secondary science teachers were forced to alter their methods of laboratory instruction by integrating digital technologies. Therefore, a qualitative methodology and a case study method were used to investigate the experiences of Indonesian secondary science teachers in conducting laboratory learning amid the Covid-19 outbreak. Moreover, the TPACK framework was utilised as a theoretical basis to map participants’ experiences. The data was obtained using semi-structured interviews with open-ended questions with two Indonesian secondary science teachers. The data then was analysed using a thematic analysis strategy to identify themes that emerged from the participants’ experiences. The emerging themes were choosing teaching content, teaching science concepts that require laboratory activities, using digital technology to facilitate students in conducting laboratory activities, using digital technology to assess students’ laboratory learning outcomes, and facing challenges in integrating digital technology into laboratory teaching. These experiences were mapped into a number of TPACK knowledge domains, such as CK, PK, PCK, TK, TCK, TPK, and XK, using the TPACK framework as a guide. However, no indication of TPCK was found in the participants’ experiences.

Abstract

This study pioneers the mapping and analysis of the blue economy's potential across the 35 regencies/municipalities of Central Java by constructing a novel Blue Economy Index (BEI). Notably, this research is among the first in Indonesia to build the BEI using granular satellite data and digital sensor information, and to apply the Two-Step System GMM approach to dynamically analyze the factors influencing its development. This combination provides unprecedented sub national detail and robust insights into effective policy levers. The findings reveal significant disparities among the southern coastal, northern coastal, and non-coastal areas. The southern coastal regions exhibit higher BEI values compared to their northern coastal and non-coastal counterparts, which fall below the average. Results from the Two-Step System GMM regression analysis indicate that internet usage, infrastructure, and the COVID-19 period exert significant effects on the BEI. Specifically, infrastructure development, proxied by Nighttime Light (NTL), demonstrates a negative impact on the BEI, suggesting that environmentally unsustainable infrastructure may undermine the sustainability of the blue economy. Meanwhile, access to digital technology through internet usage plays a crucial role in fostering inclusive blue economy growth. Based on these findings, the proposed policy recommendations include optimizing environmentally friendly infrastructure development, leveraging digital technology to expand market access, and strengthening the resilience of the blue economy through Adaptive-Responsive-Innovative (ARI) crisis policies. Consequently, the development of the blue economy in Central Java is expected to enhance the sustainable welfare of coastal communities while fully optimizing the potential of coastal areas.
