Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk kekerabatan bahasa Angkola, bahasa Simalungun, dan bahasa Toba. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan analisis data leksikostastik dan glotokronologi. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa metode wawancara dan simak dengan teknik sadap dan teknik rekam. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kosakata dasar yang berisi daftar 200 kosakata Swadesh. Sumber data penelitian ini berupa bentuk lisan dan tulisan bersumberkan langsung dari hasil wawancara penutur. (1) Kekerabatan antara bahasa Angkola dan bahasa Simalungun terdapat 85 pasangan identik, 30 pasangan berkorespondensi fonemis, 5 pasangan mirip secara fonetik, dan 3 pasangan dengan satu fonem berbeda. (2) Kekerabatan antara bahasa Angkola dan bahasa Toba terdapat 106 pasangan identik, 18 pasangan berkorespondensi fonemis, 4 pasangan mirip secara fonetik dan 3 pasangan dengan satu fonem berbeda. (3) Kekerabatan antara bahasa Simalungun dan bahasa Toba terdapat 78 pasangan identik, 28 pasangan berkorespondensi fonemis, 2 pasangan mirip secara fonetik, dan 5 pasangan dengan satu fonem berbeda. Abstract

This study aims to describe the lingual form of talkative speech spoken by caregivers at the Rantau Prapat City Orphanage, and identify the factors that cause the lingual form of talkative speech spoken by the caregivers at the Rantau City Orphanage. This study uses a qualitative approach from data taken from the words of the caretaker of the Putri Siti Khadijah Orphanage in the City of Rantau Prapat. This research was conducted at the location, namely Jl. Supratman No. 36 Rantau Prapat City, West Billa District, Labuhan Batu Regency, North Sumatra Province. The theory used in this research is psycholinguistics, stimulus-response, factors that cause talkativeness. This study uses a qualitative method with data collection used is the proficient method and the listening method with note and record techniques, and interview techniques that do not. The results found in this study were lingual forms of talkative behavior in the form of words and sentences, including: (1) Koprolalia (2) Ekolalia (3) Auto Ekolalia, and (4) Automatic Obidience.In this study, it was also found that the factors that caused the caretaker of the Putri Siti Khadijah Orphanage in Rantau Prapat City to behave in talkative speech. Factors consist of imitation, suggestion, identification, and sympathy.

Abstract

This study examines the humor language representation of Raditya Dhika on the Stand-Up Comedy (SUC) program on Metro TV by using descriptive qualitative research. The data in this study were taken from the monolog Raditya Dhika on the SUC program on Metro TV. Data collection is done by indirect observation techniques. The results showed that Raditya Dhika in his speech acts of humor represented three elements of antics, namely: 1. Locution 2. Illocution and 3. Perlocution. Locution represents the element of antics with the words of blessing, praying, and demanding with no tendency at all. Illocution represents the element of antics with the words and sentences that give permission that have a tendency in speech acts for example, thank you, offer, ask, and promise with the tendency of the partners’ response such as laughter, applause, and screams that arise. Perlocution represents the element of antics through sentences that are deceptive, confusing, encouraging, convincing, encouraging, influencing, embarrassing, and attracting attention and influence from the speech partner such as trying to guess what thought Raditya Dhika will say.

Abstract

The freedom in social media communication have not been responded wisely by the citizen of the net (netizen). Sometimes while expressing themselves in the social media, netizens used the taboo words which potentially break the law. The problems chosen in this research is a type of taboo words used by the netizen and also whether these expressed words have a potential to violate the law. The method to collect the data is “Simak bebas libat cakap“(SBLC), it is a method where there is no active communication between interviewer and interviewee but it is only taken the data from internet, then to transcribe the taken data. The following step is analyzing data which used referential equivalent method, then the results of the analysis were presented informally. The findings showed that taboo words used in social media consisted of: (1) obscene words, (2) vulgar language, and (3) nick name and insult. These taboo words potentially violate the government regulation of the Republic Indonesia number 11 of 2008 concerning electronic information and transactions article 27 paragraph (3) and article 45 paragraph (1) as well as article 310 section (1) and article 311 section (1) of the Indonesian Criminal Code concerning defamation. Therefore, netizens must be careful in the way how communicate.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to identify (1) forms of verbal violence in the form of bullying in schools (2) factors that influence the occurrence of verbal violence in the form of bullying in schools and (3) the impact of verbal violence in the form of bullying in schools on social interaction environment. This type of research is a qualitative research with a descriptive design. This study uses several methods, namely the provision of data in the form of observation, interviews, and recording. The data used in the study were in the form of utterances from research subjects about verbal violence in elementary schools. The analytical method used is by means of data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The findings in this study are forms of verbal violence, namely in the form of words, phrases, clauses. There are 4 influencing factors, namely experience, environment, knowledge and economy. The impact is divided into 2, namely the negative impact, namely quiet behavior, loners, disturbances in controlling emotions such as crying, complaining and fighting. While the positive impact is a change in behavior for the better, even though it is only temporary and an aggressive attitude against.
