Virtual Pesantren: Pesantren Sustainability in Facing the Challenges of 4.0 Era Moh. Rifqi Rahman; Hanun Asrohah

Abstract

Pesantren is proven to have high resilience and adaptability. This is evidenced by its development which is so dynamic that it can exist to this day. Pesantren has to deal with the challenges of this 4.0 era which is so synonymous with automation due to the birth of technology, digitization, intelligent technology, the speed of information flow, and so on. However, pesantren is still able to adapt until finally, new variants of pesantren appear, such as virtual pesantren. The birth of this virtual pesantren is really clear evidence that pesantren can maintain its sustainability amid this sophisticated era, although on the one hand it must be admitted that virtual pesantren is not fully capable of displaying the character of pesantren as a whole, including in terms of learning. Thus, pesantren continuously tries to adapt themselves to the times and seeks to utilize technology as a tool to support the goals of the pesantren itself. Virtual pesantren is an example of the phenomenon of how pesantren survive and adapt to this 4.0 era.

Abstract

Sertifikasi guru teiah dijadikan sehagai acuan untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidikan sekaligus meningkatkan mutu dan kesejahteraan guru. Mutu ptndidikan ditentukan oleh heberapa faktor penting, yaitu proses, dukungan lingkungan, sarana dan prasarana. Berkaitan denga faktor proses, guru menjadi faktorutama dalam penciptaan suasana pemheiajaran. Guru dituntut dalam menjalankan tugasnya secara profesional Upayapeningkatan kualicas pendidikan tidak mungkin terlaksana dengan baik apabila tidak diharengi dengan upaya peningkatan standar kompetensi guru. Dalam hal mi, yang harus mendapatkan perhatian adalah bagaimana pelaksanaan sertifikasi. Pelaksanaan sertifikasi canpa diimbangi kompetisi akan berubah menjadi lembaga formalisasi profesi guru. Jika guru sudah mendapatkan "sertifikat pendidik" dan mendapatkan tunjangan profesionalitas, bagaimana menyiapkan mekanisme untuk mendorong "kinerja profesional" guru. Tanpa mekanisme ini, "sertifikat pendidik" hanya akan menjadi formalitas bagi profesinalisme guru.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh program-program pembangunan karakter di MTs Alif Laam Miim Surabaya yang tidak terlepas dari peran aktif dan kontribusi kepemimpinan kepala madrasah berjenis kelamin perempuan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjawab fokus penelitian mengenai kepemimpinan kepala madrasah perempuan dalam membangun karakter siswa di MTs Alif Laam Miim Surabaya. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Informan dalam penelitian ini adalah kepala madrasah, waka kesiswaan, guru, wali murid dan siswa. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui dokumentasi dan wawancara. Peneliti melakukan analisis data menggunakan 3 langkah yaitu data reduction (reduksi data, data display (penyajian data) dan verification (penarikan kesimpulan). Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh menyatakan bahwa bentuk kepemimpinan transformasional kepala madrasah perempuan cocok diterapkan sebagai suatu bentuk pendekatan kepemimpinan dalam mewujudkan pembangunan karakter yang baik di MTs Alif Laam Miim Surabaya.

Abstract

In the era of the industrial revolution 4.0, there was the spread of information, communication and spontaneity tools, which is called the era of digital disruption. Learning innovations that are oriented towards the interests and potential talents of students can be done by developing a differentiated learning strategy. Differentiation puts forward the concept that each individual has different interests, potentials and talents, for that the teacher's role must be able to coordinate and collaborate these differences with the right strategy. This study aims to explain the important role of differentiation learning in the era of disruption. The method used is library research. Through differentiation learning in the era of disruption, teachers are given the freedom to teach material through different media. As a result, students have the ability to find, solve and follow up on the problems given. This ability exists because students are trained to study independently or in groups without coercion and dependence from educators. An educator makes variations of methods and media in the learning process by adjustingadjust students' learning styles.

Abstract

Abstract

Islamic education aims to establish students` moral, which should be developed in the classroom. Students` behavior is determined by values that understood and maintained together through interaction in the class. Various perspectives on human behavior and actions have been discoursed by experts of Islamic theology, Muslim philosophers, and other scholars, such as al-Mawardi and IbnTaymiyya. This paper will discuss the perspective of Rational Choice in Sociology of Education about the formation of the learners` behavior. According to Rational choice, classroom learning is the accumulation of the goal. Various actions of learners in learning are not only determined by the purpose of learning, but also other purposes, such as the objectives of individual learners. Learners in the class action are also based on the consideration of uses, such as to get high scores or praise. In learning, achievement of learning objectives depends on the ability of learners which lead to a probability, such as the possibility of getting high or low value. Learning is based on rational purpose and usefulness in accordance with the purpose of education, will lead to satisfactory academic results. The individual rational action depends on the perception and recognition of learners. The action was carried out together in the classroom and together will form the desired pattern of actions and behavior. The pattern of actions and behaviors can escalate into patterns of values and morality in relationships in the classroom. Thus, the rational choice theory can be used as the basis of formation of character in a class that is also a reflection of the wider community.

Abstract

Technological and digital developments have implications for integrating technology into educational practice. As a result, teachers have to deal with digital transformation. This research aims to compare the digital transformation readiness of science teachers in urban and rural areas. This research compares to the previously determined structural model of digital transformation readiness. This research used a survey method to test several research hypotheses. The respondents of this research were 206 science teachers in Indonesia, selected using stratified random sampling to ensure a balanced representation of various sub-groups such as gender, geographic location, island, age, type and status of institution, and teaching experience. This research data was analyzed using AMOS 26 to analyze CBSEM. The research results show three main points in digital transformation: the self-efficacy of rural teachers is affected by digital literacy, the information empowerment of rural teachers is affected by information literacy and digital literacy, and the information use of rural teachers is affected by information culture. Urban teachers at these three points are more dependent and require recommendations for development and optimization. The conclusion of this research leads to a recommendation that, in general, teachers in rural areas still need improvements, while teachers in urban areas are already moving towards developing and sustaining their skills.

Abstract

Pandemi COVID-19 telah memberikan dampak yang signifikan pada sistem pendidikan di seluruh dunia, termasuk di Indonesia. Pembelajaran jarak jauh yang dilakukan selama pandemi ini menimbulkan banyak tantangan bagi siswa, guru, dan orang tua. Untuk mengatasi tantangan ini, pemerintah Indonesia memperkenalkan Inovasi Kurikulum Merdeka sebagai Pemulihan Pembelajaran Pasca Pandemi. Kurikulum Merdeka adalah kurikulum yang dirancang untuk memperkuat keterampilan abad ke-21 pada siswa dan menekankan pada pembelajaran yang berpusat pada siswa. Kurikulum Merdeka juga menekankan pada pengembangan keterampilan seperti kreativitas, kritis berpikir, kolaborasi, dan komunikasi. Dalam penelitian yang dilakukan, Kurikulum Merdeka telah terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil pembelajaran siswa. Penelitian ini membahas Inovasi Kurikulum Merdeka sebagai Pemulihan Pembelajaran Pasca Pandemi. Penelitian ini membahas tantangan dan peluang yang dihadapi dalam implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka. Penelitian ini juga membahas dampak Kurikulum Merdeka pada keterampilan abad ke-21 siswa dan efektivitas pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi literatur dengan data sekunder berupa jurnal, artikel, dan sumber-sumber lain yang relevan. Kurikulum Merdeka memberikan kontribusi yang signifikan dalam meningkatkan hasil pembelajaran siswa. Dengan penggunaan metode pembelajaran yang lebih aktif dan kreatif, serta penerapan kurikulum yang lebih terpadu, siswa dapat lebih mudah memahami materi pelajaran dan meningkatkan minat belajar mereka. Selain itu, pemetaan gaya belajar siswa dan pemberian reward juga dapat membantu guru dalam melakukan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi dan meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Meskipun implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka masih menghadapi beberapa tantangan, penelitian ini memberikan rekomendasi untuk meningkatkan implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka dan memperkuat sistem pendidikan di Indonesia.
