Smartphones can have a positive or negative impact depending on their use. This study aims to determine whether there is an influence of smartphone communication technology on social interaction. The research method used quantitative methods, the population was carried out at PT Paragon Technology and Innovation with a sample of 150. The results showed that there was an influence in it, that smartphone communication technology has links with users related to the process of social interaction, this can be proven by how someone uses communication tools in everyday life. The social interaction built by employees within the company seems to be very good, this is evidenced by the hypothesis obtained from data processing that smartphone communication technology in every interaction with colleagues has no effect. Abstract

In the era of globalization and rapid industrial growth, energy efficiency and resource management are crucial to addressing complex environmental and economic challenges. Efficient management reduces costs and contributes to sustainability. Technological advancements in Artificial Intelligence (AI) enhance energy efficiency and resource management through faster data analysis, better predictions, and automation. Despite progress, challenges like inaccurate energy demand predictions and inefficient resource allocation persist. This study explores AI's role in improving energy and resource management efficiency, focusing on prediction, optimization, and automation using Deep Learning approaches, including Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) and Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) networks. The findings show that AI models significantly enhance efficiency and sustainability by providing accurate predictions and automation recommendations. This research underscores AI's practical relevance, suggesting companies integrate these technologies to optimize energy use and achieve sustainability goals.

Abstract

Waste management has become a significant issue in Tangerang Regency, despite the presence of a Final Disposal Site (TPA). The open dumping method at TPA has negative environmental impacts, necessitating government involvement in policy regulation and enforcement. This study aims to analyze government communication strategies in waste management, evaluate the effectiveness of Reduce Reuse Recycle Waste Treatment Sites (TPS 3R), and identify challenges in their implementation. The theoretical framework is based on environmental communication sociology, particularly in managing public participation. This research employs a qualitative method with a case study approach at TPS 3R Mustika over a three-month period. The findings indicate that communication strategies through social media and field activities effectively increase community participation. Furthermore, TPS 3R Mustika is effective as an educational center, despite facing challenges such as low public awareness and limited financial support. In conclusion, increased socialization, cooperation with third parties, and improvements to TPS facilities are necessary. This study offers a reference for other regions in developing sustainable waste management programs. The novelty of this research lies in its strategic communication approach through TPS 3R as an educational center aimed at enhancing public participation in waste management.

Abstract

Waste management in Serang City faces challenges, such as low community participation and limited facilities, leading to increased waste volume and environmental pollution. The Digital Waste Bank, as an innovative solution, leverages digitalization to enhance waste management effectiveness through community participation. This study, applying a Sustainable Development Communication approach, aims to analyze communication strategies in digital waste management, identify factors influencing community participation, and propose an effective collaborative communication model between government, communities, and the private sector in the context of the Digital Waste Bank (BSD) in Serang City. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were gathered through in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and focus group discussions. The findings highlight that adaptive communication strategies, the use of social media, and community-based approaches are crucial for engaging the public. Abstract

The global agricultural sector currently faces a serious threat in the form of a farmer regeneration crisis amidst the ambition to achieve sustainable food security. Although Smart Farming technology is readily available, its adoption rate is hampered by a sharp communication gap between senior farmers and the younger generation. This study aims to construct a convergence communication model capable of harmonizing the social capital of senior farmers and the digital capital of the younger generation. The method used is a qualitative systematic literature review approach . The analysis was conducted on various reputable literature from the Scopus, Web of Science, and Sinta databases spanning the past ten years. The results show a divergence in characteristics between the bonding social capital of senior farmers, which tends to be exclusive, and the digital capital of the younger generation, which is technocentric but lacks social relations. As a solution, this study constructs a Convergence Communication Model that integrates reverse mentoring strategies and cyclical dialogue to achieve mutual understanding . The implications of this model are the creation of an inclusive acceleration of farmer regeneration, increased resource efficiency based on a green economy , and strengthened national food stability through resilient intergenerational asset synergy.
