Abstract

In the realm of business management, the focal point has shifted towards innovation as a pivotal endeavor for attaining a competitive edge. This study aims to delve into the repercussions of innovation in business management and accentuate its pivotal role in forging pathways to competitive advantage. The Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis, employing the SmartPLS tool, was employed to scrutinize data gathered from 150 respondents representing Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) in Indonesia across four distinct sectors: fashion, furniture, home decoration, and services. The analysis reveals a noteworthy impact of innovation on various facets of business management, encompassing strategy, organizational operations, and marketing. These findings underscore that organizations adept at integrating innovation into their management practices can cultivate sustainable competitive advantages. Furthermore, the research spotlights critical factors influencing the implementation of innovation, including leader support, organizational culture, and the ability to navigate risk. This study furnishes invaluable insights for practitioners and decision-makers by underscoring the significance of innovation in fortifying competitive positions. The practical implications of these findings suggest that MSMEs fostering a culture of innovation, backed by leadership support and adept risk management, stand poised to enhance their performance and competitiveness within the increasingly intricate and dynamic markets.

Abstract

The adoption of online learning in colleges as a response to the COVID-19 pandemic has profoundly influenced education. Knowledge acquisition dramatically depends on a person's interest and willingness to learn. A platform that fosters student motivation in effectively completing activity hours is required. The available learning strategies include collaborative and creative learning, which aim to attain successful graduation outcomes with the assistance of the Independent Campus program. This project aims to develop gamification strategies that enhance students' creativity, innovation, and interactivity by integrating principles of learning and play. Furthermore, blockchain-based learning platforms can be a regulatory mechanism for ensuring secure and pleasurable learning experiences while supporting esteemed educational institutions. By implementing gamification tactics in conjunction with blockchain technology, all devices linked to the network will be transformed into nodes or servers. This study employs agile development methodologies, namely iterative and incremental models, to design distributed storage blockchain algorithms. The GamiChain iLearning educational model, which incorporates gamification blockchain, is constructed using IPFS. GamiChain, a gamification blockchain, can effectively assist the Independent Campus initiative by providing students with the necessary resources to cultivate their potential and produce exceptional and successful graduates.

Abstract

This study examines the role of digital transformation strategies in enhancing business management practices within Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Tangerang, Indonesia. SMEs in this region face ongoing challenges in adopting digital technologies, including limited financial resources, inadequate digital skills, and internal resistance to change, while increasing competition and rapid technological advancement demand adaptation to remain competitive. The purpose of this research is to analyze how digital transformation strategies cloud computing, digital marketing, automation, and data analytics affect business outcomes such as operational efficiency, customer engagement, and market competitiveness. A quantitative approach was applied using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) based on survey data from 150 SMEs actively implementing digital initiatives in Tangerang. The findings show that cloud computing and data analytics significantly improve operational efficiency through workflow optimization and data-driven decision-making, while digital marketing and automation have a positive impact on customer engagement and competitive positioning. SMEs that adopt these strategies demonstrate enhanced management performance and stronger market responsiveness. The study offers empirical evidence supporting the strategic value of digital transformation for SMEs in emerging regions and highlights the importance of investment in digital capability building. These insights may guide SME leaders and policymakers in strengthening digital adoption to support sustainable economic development. Future research should incorporate longitudinal approaches to evaluate longterm impact and qualitative perspectives to better understand contextual challenges in digital transformation implementation.
