Abstract

Profile sketch dan profile nesting merupakan solusi yang ditawarkan sebagai referensi dari proses pemotongan dan pemasangan profil.  Profile sketch dan profile nesting  juga digunakan untuk mengetahui detail dari profil yang akan diproduksi, baik jumlah profil, posisi penempatan profil, hingga jumlah pelat yang dibutuhkan untuk proses pemotongan..  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses pembuatan  profile sketch dan profile nesting dan jumlah keseluruhan profil dari Blok B10 kapal Tanker. Dari hasil pembuatan profile sketch dan profile nesting, didapatkan jumlah profil sebanyak 369 buah. Dengan jumlah profil FB 47 buah dan profil HP 322 buah. Dari jumlah ini dapat diestimasikan jumlah profil yang kemudian digunakan dalam pembelian pelat oleh pihak industri.

Abstract

A schedule is crucial to the success of a project so that it is completed within the specifiedtimeframe. Construction of a block on a tugboat is one of the projects used as a case study. The aim of timeestimation is to determine the length of time required to complete a block with the stages of work involved. Inorder to ensure the work process runs on a schedule, a time estimation is done before the work is performed.This data is processed via a computer program. Microsoft Project is a familiar application used in projectmanagement or to assist in the processing of a project. The purpose of this study is to estimate the constructiontime of Block 1 and the work in the critical path on the 35-meter ASD tug ship. In this study, researchersobserve and participate in the construction of a ship block using the observation method. The results obtainedfrom this study are the estimated construction time of one ship block which is built in stages from marking,cutting, fitting, quality assurance, welding and grinding, to the final inspection by the Quality Controldepartment.
