Abstract

The purpose of this research is to verify the effects of leadership, motivation, and work environment toward the performance of employees at “PT AJ Beringin Jiwa Sejahtera” Semarang. The populations of this research are all employees of “PT AJ Beringin Jiwa Sejahtera” Semarang. In this research, the researcher uses all populations that there at the company and the method called “census method”, because the amount of the populations are only 69 employees, and all of the populations are also the samples. The collected data are analyzed using the “factor analysis” to verify the validity of question items, “cronbach alpha formula”to verify the instrument reliability, “regression analysis” to verify the effect partially of each independent variables that are verifiedby the determination coefficient and fit model test to verify and prove the effect partially of each independent variables. The hypothesises are : (1) the result of statistic calculation with the linear regression analysis can be shown by the regression equation Y= 0,275 X1 + 0,380 X2 + 0,204 X3. From the regression equation, we know that leadership, motivation, and work environment havethe positive and significant effect towards the performance of employees. (2) The result of determination coefficient calculation is 0,439. It means that independent variables (leadership, motivation, and work environment) have the role as big as 43,9% simultaneously, can describe the dependent variable (performance). While the rest, 56,1% is described by the other variables that don’t used in this research. (3) From the hypothesis that used in this research, we can conclude that : 1. There are positive and significant effects between leadership towards the performance of employees. 2. There are positive and significant effects between motivation towards the performance of employees. 3. There are positive and significant effects between work environment towards the performance of employees. Keywords : Leadership, Motivation, Work Environment, Performance of Empoyees

Abstract

The research objective was to examine and analyze the effect of motivation on employee kenerja, test and analyze the effect of leadership on employee kenerja, test and analyze the influence of organizational commitment to employee kenerja the Department of Transportation, Communication and Information Semarang City. In this study population were all employees of the Department of Transportation, Communication and Information Semaraang City. The sampling technique used in this study is the sampling technique using non-probability sampling (sampling by not giving equal opportunity to the members of the population to be sampled). Non-probability sampling method used is purposive sampling / judgment sampling. Purposive sampling, the sampling technique to establish certain criteria consistent with the objectives or problems studied. The criteria used for determining the sample is already working at least 3 years, at least high school education and a minimum age of 22 years.Based on the results of model calculations derived summary size adjusted R2 is 0.797 this means that 79.7% of the variation in staff performance can be explained by the variation of the three independent variables of work motivation, leadership and organizational commitment.Based on the results of multiple regression analysis can be seen that motivation has positive effect on employee performance. The effect is statistically significant at 0.020 probability (sig / p <0.005). Leadership positively terhadapkinerja employees. The effect was statistically significant at the probability obtained less than 5% α (0.000 <0.05). Organizational commitment positively toward employees performance. The effect was statistically significant at the probability obtained less than 5% α (0.000 <0.05). It is identified that all the hypotheses accepted or proven

Abstract

This study is to test the influence of leadership, communication, motivation, and promotion on employee performance. One attempt to improve quality of human resources is a good leadership, communication within the organization is good, high employee motivation and promotions based on employee perfomance. Perfomance assessment is an important factor in determining salary increase and employee career development. In this study, researchers used a validity test to measure the level of test validity and reliability of an instrument to measure the stability of a measuring instrument in measuring a symptom. After testing the validity and reliability, then the next step researchers formulate regression equations. As formulated the regression analysis that is oftenused to predict how big the effect of independent variables on the dependent variable. The result is a variable leadership, communication, motivation, and promotion has a positive value or improve employee performance. This means that the higher the influence of leadership, communication, motivation, and promotion the higher employee performance. This studies have limitations, namely a short sampling period and do not consider other key variables that can affect the perfomance of the employee. Therefore, further research is suggested to consider the other main variables and the time of the study need to be even longer so that it can be generalized. Key words leadership, communication, motivation, promotion on employee, performance

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are one of the most developed creative industries in Indonesia and are able to make significant contribution to Indonesia's GDP (Gross Domestic Product), but the high growth of MSMEs has not been able to create sustainable MSMEs performance. Factors that influence each other include network capability, marketing performance, knowledge creation, and product innovation. This study aims to empirically prove the effect of network creation on marketing performance and knowledge creation, the effect of knowledge creation on product innovation, and the effect of product innovation on marketing performance. The sample in this study were 250 respondents of MSME owners in Semarang City. The data collection method used questionnaire distributed to MSMEs owners through Google Forms. Data analysis used descriptive statistics and structural equation modelling with the Smart PLS program. The results showed that network capability has positive and significant effect on marketing performance and knowledge creation, knowledge creation has positive and significant effect on product innovation, and product innovation has positive and significant effect on marketing performance

Abstract

Work performance is a work result achieved by an employee which is seen from his personal characteristics and perception of his role in work, or a separate form of assessment in implementing and improving his work program. This research aims to determine the effect of welfare and health benefits on the work performance of BRI Karaban Pati unit employees. The population in this study were 31 BRI Karaban Pati unit employees. The sampling method used was non-probability sampling with an accidental sampling technique using the census method. The data analysis technique used in this research is multiple regression with the help of calculations via the SPSS application. The results of the calculations that have been carried out show that the t-calculated value of welfare benefits is 2.804 > t-table 2.048. This shows that the welfare benefits variable has a positive and significant effect on employee work performance, so the calculated t value for health benefits is 4.134 > t table 2.048. This shows that the occupational health benefits variable has a positive and significant effect on employee work performance. The coefficient of determination (R Square) is 0.752. This means that the welfare and health benefits variables have a role of 75.2%, together they are able to explain or explain employee work performance variables. It is best for the BRI Karaban unit to distribute bonuses or commissions in the form of performance levels or based on position and responsibility.
