Abstract

Objective: To establish fetal biometry nomogram using percentilemethod based on normal population.   Methods: A descriptive retrospective study in order to establishfetal biometry nomogram using percentile method basedon normal population. Four fetal biometry measurement (BPD,HC, AC and FL) was collected from ultrasonography examinationresult in Fetomaternal Division Ultrasound Unit - AnggrekClinic and from medical record unit Dr. Cipto MangunkusumoGeneral Hospital, from January 2015 until April 2016. Databeing documented using case report form and being tabulatedusing Microsoft Excell 2011 Version 14.7.0 (161029). All datawere analyzed using SPSS 20.0 dan Matlab R2016a.   Results: There were 6169 pregnant women underwent fetalbiometry ultrasound within January 2015 - April 2016. Basedon inclusion criteria, 2798 (45%) were eligible as researchsample distributed from 12 until 42 wga. Due to evenly distributiondata, 2205 (78%) were distributed from 20 until 40 wgato develop fetal biometry nomogram. Most pregnant womenwere 28.9 years old (SD  5.74) in range of 21-30 (55%) yearsold. The youngest was 13 years old and the oldest was 45years old. Four fetal biometry were collected and distributedevenly using percentile method to establish fetal biometrynomogram. As for estimated fetal weight curve was developedby Hadlock C formula. Each biometry was calculated the 10th,50th and 90th centile curves according to gestational age. Thus, representing the fetal biometry and modified Hadlock C estimatedfetal weight nomogram based on normal population inJakarta.   Conclusion: Each biometry and modified Hadlock C estimated fetalweight were calculated in 10th, 50th and 90th centile curves accordingto gestational age represent fetal biometry nomogram based onnormal population in Jakarta. Keywords: biometry, estimated fetal weight formula, nomogram

Abstract

Abstract

BACKGROUND Fetal growth restriction (FGR) has multifactorial etiology, including nutrition. Fetal nutrient status depends not only on an adequate supply of key nutrients but also optimal delivery, served by the placenta as a major metabolic and transport organ. This study aimed to evaluate the status of placental oxygen and nutrient concentration and their transporters between appropriate for gestational age (AGA), small for gestational age (SGA), and FGR. METHODS This cross-sectional study was conducted at Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital, Jakarta, from July 2018 to December 2020. Patients were divided into 3 groups, namely AGA, SGA, and FGR. The placental samples were taken following delivery. Placental concentration of glucose, amino acids (AAs), and fatty acids (FAs) were measured by calorimetric assay, liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry, and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry, respectively. Placental concentration of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), glucose transporter 1 (GLUT1), system y+L, and fatty acid transport protein 1 (FATP1) were examined using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. RESULTS A total of 57 subjects participated in the study. Compared with the AGA group, the SGA and FGR groups had lower placental AA concentration (p = 0.004), higher placental FA concentration (p = 0.048), higher placental expression of VEGF (p = 0.003), system y+L (p = 0.07), and FATP1 (p = 0.021). No difference in placental glucose and GLUT1 concentration was observed among all groups (p = 0.301). CONCLUSIONS The similar profile of macronutrient concentration with increased expression of oxygen and several nutrient transporters in SGA and FGR groups might indicate similar pathogenesis between these groups.

Abstract

This study analyzes the effect of price and promotion on customer satisfaction and loyalty at MSME Laundry QIWA in Batam. For five years, QIWA Laundry has built loyalty through competitive pricing strategies and promotions, such as shuttle services and discounts. The study aims to identify the role of customer satisfaction as a mediator between price, promotion, and customer loyalty to maintain competitiveness in the laundry market. A qualitative approach was used with in-depth interviews and participatory observation, as well as purposive sampling techniques to select respondents. The main variables include price, promotion, customer satisfaction as mediation, and loyalty as dependent variable. The results show that competitive pricing and attractive promotions increase customer satisfaction, which in turn plays a significant role in increasing loyalty. Satisfied customers are more likely to return to use QIWA Laundry services and recommend it to others, confirming the close relationship between customer satisfaction and loyalty
