Abstract

This type of research is an experimental study involving two groups given different treatments. This study aims to find out (1) how much the mathematics learning outcomes of fourth grade students of Makassar City Rama Sejahtera Private Elementary School were taught using a problem solving approach, (2) How much the mathematics learning outcomes of fourth grade Rama Sejahtera Private Elementary School Makassar were taught using the problem posing approach, (3) There is a difference between the results of mathematics learning in fourth grade students of Rama Sejahtera Private Elementary School in Makassar City between those taught using a problem solving approach and those taught using a problem posing approach. The population of this study was fourth grade students of Makassar City Rama Sejahtera Private Elementary School in the even semester 2018/2019 which consisted of 3 classes and 2 randomly selected classes as the research sample. Data collection techniques were carried out using learning outcomes tests (pretest and posttest) and observation sheets. The collected data was analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical analysis techniques. The results obtained from descriptive statistical analysis are: (1) Mathematics learning outcomes of students taught by using problem solving approaches are in the high category with an average of 73.36 and standard deviation of 10.20 of the ideal score of 100. (2) Learning outcomes Mathematics students taught by the problem posing approach are in the low category with an average of 67.96 and standard deviation of 8.29 from the ideal score of 100. From the results of inferential statistical analysis it can be concluded that the mathematics learning outcomes of students taught by problem solving approaches are different from mathematics learning outcomes of students taught by using the problem posing approach.

Abstract

This research aims to see the extent to which the implementation of study program accreditation based on 9 criteria in two different study programs ranked at the last accreditation, namely the Mathematics Education study program at IAIN Ambon and the Mathematics Education study program at UIN Raden Intan Lampung. The research method used is a comparative qualitative method, namely analyzing to find and find similarities and differences in phenomena. Data collection techniques in this study were interviews and documentation. The research results are described qualitatively in the form of advantages, disadvantages, similarities and differences in the implementation of 9 criteria-based accreditations in the two study programs. The results showed that the two study programs had fulfilled many of the 9 criteria-based accreditation assessment items. On the other hand, there are several items of accreditation assessment from each assessment criteria that have not been fully met by the two study programs.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of learning videos on mathematical ability. The design used to test the research questions is a meta-analysis. Based on searches on the ERIC, SAGE, SpringerLink, and Google Scholar Databases, 28 measures of effect were found that met the specified inclusion criteria. Data analysis was carried out with the help of JASP 0.16.1.0 software. The results of the analysis showed that the use of learning video media had a major effect on mathematical ability when compared to conventional learning media (d = 1.12; p < 0.01). The results of the analysis based on moderator variables found that the influence of the flipped classroom model compared to conventional teaching on mathematics ability differed according to the level of education (Qb = 36.25; p < 0.05), and the measured ability (Qb = 15.7; p < 0.05), but did not differ according to the sample size group (Qb = 0.98; p > 0.05) and the year of study (Qb = 2.31; p < 0.05)

Abstract

This research aims to find out the development of interactive multimedia-based learning media in the material of class VII MTs Negeri Ambon. This research uses Research and Development with development models proposed by Thiagarajan, Semmel, and Semmel. The development research stage consists of 4 stages known as 4D models, namely define, design, develop, and disseminate. The results of this study showed that interactive multimedia-based learning media was declared very valid, judging from the final results of the assessment of media validators and materials by 89 percent with criteria that are very valid or worth using without revision. Interactive multimedia-based learning media is stated to be very practical with the dissemination of student response questionnaires, meeting positive categories. Obtaining scores of 86.43 percent with very practical criteria and worthy of use without revision, interactive multimedia-based learning media is otherwise quite effectively used in known learning from student N-Gain results of 0.66 or 66 percent with moderate categories. Interactive multimedia-based learning media developed meets the valid, effective, and practical categories. It deserves to be used in mathematics learning on set material for students of class VII MTs. Negeri Ambon.

The data used in this study were data from the 2015 Science Subject National Examination for Junior High School in Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta (DIY) province. The samples taken in this study were 9054 students. Test takers are grouped into high groups and low groups based on the total score obtained. Estimation of item parameters using Excel and QUEST. The results of the analysis show that based on the classical test theory approach, the average item difficulty level ) in the high group is in the easy category, while in the low group, it is in the medium category, the average item differential index ( ) shows that the test ability to distinguish students with high abilities and low abilities in both the high and low groups is in the unfavorable category; and the reliability coefficient of the test (ρ) in the high group has high reliability, and the low group has perfect reliability

Abstract

Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri Fakfak merupakan salah satu Madrasah di Kabupaten Fakfak yang  mengimplementasikan nilai pendidikan karakter dengan pendekatan kearifan lokalnya yakni melalui konsep Satu Tungku Tiga Batu. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat implementasi nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter dalam kearifan lokal Satu Tungku Tiga Batu di MIN 1 Fakfak. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan  pendekatan kualitatif. Data diperoleh melalaui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi kepada beberapa narasumber seperti kepala sekolah, guru dan peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Kearifan Lokal “ Satu Tungku Tiga Batu”  memiliki nilai pendidikan karakter antara lain: nilai religius, nilai toleransi, nilai kerjasama, nilai semangat kebangsaan dan nilai cinta damai. Kelima nilai tersebut diimplementasikan dalam berbagai cara seperti kegiatan pembiasaan, bimbingan dan internalisasi nilai dari kearifan lokal tersebut. Beberapa contoh kegiatan pembiasaan  dikelas  seperti memulai pelajaran dengan membaca doa , menghafalkan asmaul husnah , kegiatan beribadah sholat duha berjamaah,  dan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler pramuka. Para Guru  mengajarkan kepada peserta didik untuk saling menghargai dengan teman yang berbeda keyakinan seperti ikut kerja bakti dan membersihkan tempat ibadah yang sedang melaksanakan perayaan hari besar keaagamaan. Implementasi nilai nilai pendidikan karakter tersebut ditanamkan sejak dini sebagai  bentuk  merawat keharmonisan kehidupan beragama yang berbeda dan masyarakat yang multikultural dengan pendekatan kearifan lokalnya. Konsep ini tidak hanya menjadi landasan pembelajaran di MIN Fakfak, tetapi juga menjadi fondasi untuk membangun harmoni dan persatuan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari mereka

Abstract

Geometry education is often considered difficult by students because of its complex concepts. This study aims to explore the effectiveness of using microlearning and Padlet in culture-based geometry learning at MTs Negeri Ambon. This study used a pretest-posttest experimental design with a control group. This study used two VIII classes as samples, where one class was an experimental class and the rest were control classes. The results showed an increase in the average value of geometry understanding in the experimental class, although it was not significantly different. The magnitude of the effect (r = 0.163) showed a small effect but showed the positive potential of using this technology in geometry learning. This study emphasizes the importance of integrating technology and local culture into the mathematics curriculum to improve students' understanding.

Abstract

Manajemen kepala sekolah penggerak adalah suatu tindakan yang akan dilakukan seorang atasan yang meliputi proses perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pengarahan, dan pengawasan usaha-usaha para anggota organisasi dan penggunaan sumberdaya agar mencapai tujuan yang telah ditetapkan. Sementara Prestasi belajar adalah hasil yang dicapai seseorang setelah melakukan proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh manajemen kepala sekolah penggerak terhadap prestasi belajar siswa di SMP Negeri 1 Huamual, Seram Bagian Barat. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian korelasional dengan instrument penelitian yang digunakan yaitu lembar angket manajemen kepala sekolah penggerak. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa data angket dan hasil prestasi belajar siswa. Selanjutnya analisis data yang digunakan berupa analisis statistic deskriptif dan analisis statistic inferensial yang memuat uji kualitas data, uji asumsi klasik dan uji hipotesis (Uji t). Hasil uji kualitas data dari 42 item diperoleh data item valid dengan nilai Rhitung > RTabel (0,183). Selanjutnya uji reliabilitas dengan menggunakan Cronbach alpha diperoleh nilai 0,666 > dari 0,60 sehingga diputuskan 42 item reliable. Untuk uji asumsi klasik berupa uji normalitas diperoleh data prestasi belajar sebesar 0,144 dan data manajemen kepala sekolah sebesar 0,200 yang lebih besar dari 0,05 sehingga diputuskan kedua data normal. Sama halnya dengan pengujian linieritas tampak nilai signifiknasi lebih besar 0,05 yang menunjukkan kedua data linear. Selanjutnya dilakukan analisis hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa adanya pengaruh manajemen kepala sekolah penggerak terhadap prestasi belajar siswa di SMP Negeri 1 Huamual, Seram Bagian Barat. Hal ini ditunjukan dengan adanya uji hipotesis menggunakan uji parsial (uji t) diperoleh nilai signifikansi (0,000) yang lebih kecil dari nilai sehingga hipotesis alternatif (Ha) diterima. Besar pengaruh atau kontribusi manajemen kepala sekolah penggerak terhadap prestasi belajar peserta didik yaitu sebesar 11,1% dan sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak menjadi perhatian dalam penelitian ini.
