Abstract

The construction industry has a significant role to the contribution of the development both in developed and developing countries.  The importance of the industry is not only in its product but also in the scale of the industry, its share in the national economy and how it affects society. Moreover, construction products, such as roads, bridges, railways, irrigation, schools, hospitals, dwellings, offices and factories are an important element in the economy and in improving living standards. An important issu of the construction industri in developing countries is to improve the quality of the industry due regard to social, envronment and sustainability aspect.  One of the alternative solution is to develop a Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB).  However, the detailed way in which all of aspects in the CIDB interact is not well understood.  This paper presents a possible system of CIDB model by using a prototype model from National Accreditation Body of Higher Education System. Keywords: construction industry development, government, CIDBPermalink: http://www.ejournal.undip.ac.id/index.php/mkts/article/view/3953[How to cite: Wibowo, M.A. dan Hadihardaja, J., 2006, Badan Akreditasi Nasional Industri Konstruksi Suatu Kebutuhan, Jurnal Media Komunikasi Teknik Sipil, Volume 14, Nomor 3, pp. 277-286]

Abstract

The role of religious moderation is very important in the school environment, because school is the place where students spend most of their time and receive a lot of influence from peers and teachers. In a multicultural environment such as at SMP Negeri 04 Kualuh Hulu, religious moderation can help students develop mutual respect and understanding of existing differences. This research aims to explore the influence of religious moderation on the religious behavior of generation Z at SMP Negeri 04 Kualuh Hulu. The research method used is field research with a descriptive qualitative approach. The analysis technique applied is Descriptive Analysis which provides a complete and orderly picture of the research object. Data was collected through observation and interviews with primary data sources in the form of three teachers and three students, as well as secondary data from previous studies. The research results show that students' understanding of religious moderation at SMP Negeri 04 Kualuh Hulu is quite diverse. Some students understand and apply the concept of religious moderation well, while others still show extreme or apathetic tendencies. The implementation of religious moderation in this school helps some students develop attitudes of tolerance and mutual respect, but there are still challenges in implementing it as a whole. Family environmental factors and the influence of social media also influence students' understanding and behavior regarding religious moderation. Therefore, further efforts and collaboration between schools and parents are needed to increase understanding and implementation of religious moderation among students.

Abstract

This study was conducted on soil improvement works development Pelabuhan Indonesia III projects, Teluk Lamong Surabaya. The aim of the study was to obtain the optimization of the acceleration of soil consolidation using preloading with prefabrication vertical drain (PVD) and prefabrication horizontal drain (PHD). The method used in this study is the optimization of value engineering methods, which generally consists of phases: information, creativity, analysis, development and recommendation. The study concluded that the consolidation of the soil with alternative preloading system using  landfill with  gd = 1.91 kg/m3 and using  PVD/PHD brand Geowork type MW- 408/Geowork  type SD 100 X 20 with a distance of 80 cm is a method the most optimal soil improvement. This alternative produces a faster consolidation of 53 days from the scheduled time and cost savings of about Rp 1.77 billion from the planned start-up costs.
