Abstract

The problems that occur today show that most teachers in doing learning are more teacher-center-based where the learning is teacher-centered. This is what causes learning to tend to be monotonous so that learning becomes less active. To anticipate these problems, it is necessary to have a variety of learning models so that learning can be active, creative, innovative, and fun. The purpose of this study is to determine the application of poetry learning using the PBT model in facing the era of revolution 4.0 and to determine the application of ICT-based PBT learning in facing the era of the industrial revolution 4.0. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative by describing the data in depth which is then relevant to the theory relevant to the research. The results of this study show that the application of poetry learning with the PBT model is carried out by 1) providing introduction and motivation, 2) providing direction for project assignments, 3) monitoring project progress, 4) making videos, 5) assessing work results, and 6) evaluating the learning process. Theapplication of ICT-based PBT learning models is very relevant to the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 where this era requires teachers to utilize technology in learning so that this learning is used as a form of breakthrough in improving learning in madrasah in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of using Flipbook based on the Merdeka Curriculum and the Course Review Horay model in improving poetry writing skills and literacy of students at MI Miftahul Akhlaqiyah. This research uses an experimental design with two sample groups, class 5A as the experimental group with 35 students and class 5B as the control group with 33 students. The experimental group received treatment using Flipbook based on the Merdeka Curriculum and the Course Review Horay model, while the control group received conventional learning. Data were collected through poetry writing tests, literacy questionnaires, and student engagement observations. The results show that the experimental group experienced significant improvement in poetry writing and literacy, with a t-Value of 12.68 and a p-value of 0.000, while the control group showed no significant improvement. This proves that the application of technology in learning, such as using Flipbook and the active learning model Course Review Horay, can effectively improve students' poetry writing and literacy skills. This study suggests that elementary schools, especially MI, integrate technology and active learning models to improve the quality of students' literacy education.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using Wordwall media on Indonesian language learning outcomes in the topic of recognizing emotions among second-grade students at SDN Gajahmungkur 04 Semarang. This research employed a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental method with a One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The subjects consisted of 25 students in the 2025/2026 academic year. The research instrument was a learning achievement test focusing on students’ ability to understand emotional vocabulary and express it in simple sentences. Data were collected through pretest and posttest, then analyzed using a paired sample t-test with SPSS 26. The results indicated a significant improvement in students’ learning outcomes after using Wordwall, with the average pretest score of 56.60 and posttest score of 82.40. The sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000 < 0.05 shows that the use of Wordwall media had a positive effect on students’ Indonesian language learning outcomes. Wordwall effectively enhanced students’ conceptual understanding, motivation, and engagement during learning activities. Therefore, Wordwall can be used as an effective interactive learning medium suitable for elementary students, especially in teaching emotional topics such as recognizing feelings.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the trends, directions, theories, approaches, methods, and research gaps in language learning research at the elementary school level in the digital era. The study employed a literature review method by systematically examining national and international journal articles published between 2020 and 2025 that focus on language learning, educational technology, and digital innovation in primary education. The findings indicate that recent research trends emphasize the implementation of innovative, technology-integrated learning models such as Problem-Based Learning (PBL), Game-Based Learning (GBL), Blended Learning, and Project-Based Learning, which have been shown to enhance students’ literacy, motivation, and communication skills. Theoretical foundations commonly used include constructivism, connectivism, and social-cognitive learning theories, with dominant research approaches being Research and Development (R&D) and quasi-experimental designs. The review identifies several research gaps, including the limited integration of artificial intelligence, digital learning analytics, and long-term evaluations of technology-based language learning effectiveness in elementary education. This review provides a comprehensive overview of the future research directions, highlighting the importance of integrating innovative pedagogical approaches and digital technology to foster relevant and meaningful language learning in the 21st century.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh media KARMETA dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi imbuhan me- di kelas IV SDN Karangrejo. Latar belakang penelitian muncul dari permasalahan rendahnya pemahaman siswa terhadap perubahan fonologis pada imbuhan me- sehingga siswa sering salah dalam menentukan bentuk imbuhan yang tepat. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain pre-experimental tipe One Group Pretest–Posttest Design. Seluruh siswa kelas IV yang berjumlah 13 orang dijadikan sampel melalui teknik sampling jenuh. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes hasil belajar yang diberikan sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terjadinya peningkatan signifikan pada nilai rata-rata siswa, dari 65,85 pada saat pretest menjadi 84,77 pada posttest. Uji normalitas menunjukkan data berdistribusi normal, sedangkan uji paired sample t-test menghasilkan nilai signifikansi 0,000 (< 0,05), yang berarti terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara hasil pretest dan posttest. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa media KARMETA efektif membantu siswa memahami proses afiksasi secara lebih konkret dan interaktif. Dengan demikian, media KARMETA terbukti mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa serta layak digunakan sebagai alternatif media pembelajaran pada materi morfologi di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Pembelajaran diferenisiasi adalah sebuah strategi pembelajaran yang berorientasi guna memenuhi kebutuhan peserta didik selama proses pembelajaran. Kebutuhan tersebut dapat diartikan berupa pemberian gaya belajar, bahan ajar, dan media pembelajaran yang variatif dengan tujuan membantu siswa dalam memahami substansi materi dan menunjang hasil belajar siswa. Adapun fokus penelitian ini untuk menganalisis sejauh mana pembelajaran diferenisiasi dapat dikatakan menjadi jembatan dalam rangka meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Metode penelitian ini menerapkan jenis kualitatif dengan pendekatan kasus. Adapun subjek penelitian sebanyak 15 siswa yang mendapatkan hasil pengerjaana dibawah KKTP pada assessment formatif matri suku kata. Penelitian ini mengunakan tekhnik pengumpulan data melalui tekhnik pengamatan dan penyebaran kuisioner, dan metode analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis interaktif Hasil pembahasan penelitian ini mencangkup analisis penerapan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dengan berbantuan LKPD Kreatif pada pada materi mengenal suku kata kelas 2 SD Negeri Morkepek. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using a mini shopping wallet on the learning outcomes of fourth-grade students in Indonesian Language subject. The background of this research is the low interest and understanding of students in writing, often making errors and lacking the courage to express ideas in writing. This quantitative research used an experimental method with a One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The population was all fourth-grade students of Gugus 1 Tarutung Elementary School, and the sample was determined using purposive sampling, resulting in SDS HKBP Pearaja Tarutung as the experimental class. Data collection techniques involved multiple-choice questions in the form of pre-test and post-test. Data analysis used descriptive and inferential statistics, including the t-test. The results of the pre-test and post-test t-test showed a tcount of 2.032 and a ttable of 1.68, leading to the conclusion that there is an influence of the use of a mini shopping wallet on the learning outcomes of fourth-grade students. The mean pre-test score was 42.857, and the mean post-test score was 70.85. The use of the mini shopping wallet, which is a concrete medium in the form of toy money, provides real learning experience and effectively increases student learning outcomes, especially in understanding the concept of writing currency values.

Abstract

Reading is a major aspect of language skills, especially in the world of education. Early reading activities have been introduced from the elementary education level starting from grade I, but there are still many students who are not fluent in reading. Therefore, a study was conducted aimed at determining the reading ability of grade I students, and the effectiveness of using fiction story books on students' reading abilities at SDN Padarek III. This study used a qualitative analysis method with observation and interview techniques. The results of the study showed that many of the reading abilities of grade I students at SDN Padarek III were still not fluent in reading, but after using fiction story books, students became enthusiastic in learning. This proves that fiction story books are effective in learning to improve early reading abilities in grade I students and have a positive impact on students.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the improvement of reading comprehension and learning interest in Indonesian language through the use of digital comic media among fifth-grade elementary school students. The research was motivated by the low level of student engagement and motivation in reading activities, as well as the limited availability of engaging learning media that suits the developmental characteristics of young learners. This research employed a classroom action research (CAR) design conducted in two cycles, each consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The subjects of the study were 15 fifth-grade students from a public elementary school. Data on reading comprehension were collected through evaluation tests at the end of each cycle, while data on learning interest were obtained through questionnaires and observation sheets. The results showed that the use of digital comics improved students’ reading comprehension, as indicated by the increase in the average test scores across the cycles. In addition, students’ learning interest also increased, reflected in their growing enthusiasm, attention, and active participation during the learning process. Therefore, digital comics are proven to be an effective alternative learning medium for improving reading comprehension and learning interest in Indonesian language instruction at the elementary school level.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the limited use of interactive learning media in teaching biographical texts, which results in students’ low understanding of event sequences, characters, and moral values in biographies. This study aims to develop an interactive e-book titled “Jejak Waktu, Jejak Inspirasi” as an engaging and accessible learning medium for students. The research employed the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE development model, consisting of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. Product validation was carried out by a material expert, a design expert, and a practitioner to determine the feasibility of the e-book. The validation results indicated that the interactive e-book fell into the “Highly Valid” category, making it feasible for student trials. Practicality testing through student response questionnaires showed a “Highly Practical” category, indicating that the e-book effectively supported comprehension. Furthermore, effectiveness testing was conducted through pretest and posttest assessments, which showed a significant increase in learning outcomes, with all students achieving the Minimum Mastery Criteria (KKM). The N-Gain score was categorized as “High,” demonstrating that the e-book successfully improved students’ understanding of biographical texts. Thus, the interactive e-book “Jejak Waktu, Jejak Inspirasi” is declared feasible, practical, and effective to be used as a learning medium for biographical text material in elementary schools. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh minimnya penggunaan media pembelajaran interaktif pada materi teks biografi, sehingga pemahaman siswa terhadap alur peristiwa, tokoh, dan nilai biografi masih rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan e-book interaktif “Jejak Waktu, Jejak Inspirasi” sebagai alternatif media yang menarik dan mudah diakses peserta didik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE, meliputi tahap analisis, perancangan, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Validasi produk dilakukan oleh ahli materi, ahli desain, dan ahli praktisi untuk mengetahui kelayakan e-book. Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa e-book interaktif berada pada kategori “Sangat Valid”, sehingga layak untuk diuji cobakan kepada peserta didik. Uji kepraktisan melalui angket respons siswa menunjukkan kategori “Sangat Praktis” dan dinilai membantu pemahaman materi. Selanjutnya, uji keefektifan dilakukan melalui pretest dan posttest, dan diperoleh peningkatan hasil belajar yang signifikan, dengan seluruh peserta didik mencapai Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM). Nilai N-Gain berada pada kategori “Tinggi”, yang menunjukkan bahwa e-book mampu meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap teks biografi. Dengan demikian, e-book interaktif “Jejak Waktu, Jejak Inspirasi” dinyatakan layak, praktis, dan efektif digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran pada materi teks biografi di sekolah dasar.
