Abstract

Background: Data shows that smoking behavior in adolescents in Indonesia is a health problem that still deserves to be considered. Data shows that the prevalence of smoking in the population aged 10-18 in 2013-2018 in Indonesia has increased, namely Riskesdas 2013 (7.2%), Riskesdas 2016 (8.8%), and Riskesdas 2018 (9.1%). Pamekasan is one of the regencies in Indonesia that has a teen smoking rate of 25.64% (Riskesdas, 2018) with outdoor cigarette advertisements that are still scattered, especially in urban areas. Purpose: Analyzing the influence of cigarette advertising in Pamekasan Regency, by emphasizing comparisons in urban areas and village areas in Pamekasan Regency.. Method: This study is an observational study. In terms of time, the study was cross-sectional because the data collection, which includes free variables and bound variables, was conducted over a period of time. Sampling through online questionnaires by random methods. Results: There is a significant influence between the role of cigarette advertising on adolescent behavior in urban areas with a value of p = 0.029 (OR 2.718 95% CI 1,110-6,652). There was no influence on adolescents in rural areas. Conclusion: A communication message that can affect adolescent smoking behavior in urban areas is cigarette advertising, regardless of how many times the frequency of exposure.

Abstract

This research discusses advanced linguistic principles related to tafsir, specifically regarding lafadz as a vessel of meaning, al-mudhaf as isim al-jami', and nouns that are mentioned individually but indicate a general meaning. Through analysis of various examples in the Qur'an, this article emphasizes the importance of a deep understanding of these terms in the context of interpretation. The study shows that lafadz is not only a linguistic symbol but also a medium that conveys broader and more complex divine messages. By understanding the use of lafadz and terms in the Qur'an, we can uncover deeper meanings, thereby providing a more comprehensive understanding of Islamic teachings and humanity's responsibilities in a larger context.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze in depth the harmony in husband and wife relations as implied in Surah al-Baqarah verse 223. This study integrates two relevant theoretical frameworks, namely the Mubadalah theory and Attachment theory. Mubadalah theory, with its focus on reciprocal and mutual relations, is used to examine the implications of the verse on the dynamics of equal and mutually beneficial interactions in marriage. Meanwhile, Attachment theory, which emphasizes emotional bonds and the need for security in relationships, is applied to understand how the verse contributes to the formation and maintenance of intimacy and emotional support between husband and wife. This study uses a qualitative approach that is library research. In interpreting the verse, this study uses the tahlili method. The primary data sources in this study are several classical and contemporary tafsir books, the book on mubadalah theory by Faqihuddin Abdul Kodir and the psychology book on attachment theory by John Bowlby. The secondary data in this study include articles, journals, dissertations, books on family relations, and scientific papers that are relevant to the discussion of this study. The results of the study indicate that the integrative analysis of mubadalah theory on QS. Surah al-Baqarah verse 223 states that wives have equal rights in the household, including intimate relationships, love, rights and obligations, and decision-making. An integrative analysis of the Attachment theory with Surah al-Baqarah verse 223 implicitly indicates that a husband is the caregiver for his wife, and a wife is the caregiver for her husband. The sacred covenant of marriage requires that both partners, both husband and wife, be present not only physically but also emotionally, so that both can share a sense of security within the household.
