Abstract

New Testament is a collection of writings that provide an important historical source about the birth of Jesus, His teachings, and, how the 'Good News' spread through the Apostles after Jesus's death. Wenham and, Walton took their portion of the vast land to provide important reading for anyone who wished to study the New Testament in terms of historical, theological, narrative interpretation and, guidance in learning other things from the various writings in the New Testament. Volume 1 discusses the Four Gospels and, Acts from the historical context at the birth of Jesus, the life of the early church and, the Roman colonial era that provides its own effectiveness when interpreting the New Testament. Wenham and Walton use simple and, practical writing patterns but it is in that simplicity that becomes even more delicious when reading them. The way of speaking is used to provide beauty for readers of the Gospels and, Acts in the present so as to provide good spiritual interaction living life as a people of Christ. The Christian's hope of eternal life in Christ was also successfully explored by Wenham and Walton, as two of the most prominent writers, teachers and, pastors in the world today.

Abstract

The main problems of writing this article are; first, some couples want to marry for the second time but do not show legal evidence of divorce from the first marriage. Second, they are not preparing for a second marriage through premarital counseling. Third, they are dishonest and open to the failure of the first marriage, so they choose to marry secretly, and certain pastors or churches can accept this. The author would like to explain the pastoral strategy a church pastor carried out in preparing for a second marriage so that it can be accepted in terms of Christian faith, law and culture. The research method used is qualitative research. So it can be concluded that there needs to be a strategy carried out by a pastor in carrying out pastoral care for second marriages so that marriages that will run for a lifetime or are expected to avoid divorce again are guided by a pastoral approach to second marriages. This is necessary to reflect to the world that the church or His people are salt and light so that the name of Jesus Christ is glorified.

Abstract

Buku ini ditulis dengan sederhana, memakai sumber Injill Markus secara ketat. Di dalamnya ada ajakan nyata untuk pembaca agar mengalami perjumpaan dengan Yesus secara nyata. Perjumpaan dengan Yesus Kristus telah dialami oleh tokoh gereja lainnya dan memberi dampak besar bagi gereja. Tentu pembaca Injil Markus masa kini akan berdampak bagi pertumbuhan dan perkebangan Gereja jika mengalami perjumpaan dengan Yesus.

Abstract

Masalah gender, bukanlah hal yang baru ditemukan. Perdebatan mengenai masalah ini sudah berlangsung dari waktu ke waktu dan selalu mewarnai kehidupan manusia. Masalah ini lebih spesifik memperdebatkan tentang kepribadian laki-laki dan perempuan serta perannya masing-masing dalam keseharian. Baik dalam keluarga, maupun dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk memberikan perspektif bagi keluarga dan gereja agar tidak melakukan diskriminiasi karena perbedaan gender berdasarkan kata “tidak ada” dalam Galatia 3:28. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah paradigma kualitatif dengan pendkatan eksegesis dan kepustkaan seperti buku dan artikel yang berkaitan. Untuk menjawab perdebatan yang ada, maka Alkitablah yang akan menjadi jawabannya.  Sebab, baik dalam Perjanjian Lama, maupun dalam Perjanjian baru, akan menyatakn kebenaran bahwa tidak ada perbedaan antara laki-laki dan perempuan, atau disebut semua setara dihadapan Tuhan. Tentu dalam hal ini, sebagai orang percaya, wajib mengakui legitimasi Alkitab sebagai otoritas kebanaran tertinggi tanpa terpengaruh serta terhalangi oleh kehidupan sosial dan budaya yang ada.

Abstract

The teaching method is a method used by a Sunday school teacher in teaching, guiding, advising and directing Sunday school children in understanding the word or works of God by using ICT. However, in reality, Sunday school teachers do not make use of ICT in organizing teaching and learning activities, even though they already understand that ICT greatly supports or helps the child's level of mastery of subject matter as a tool for achieving teaching and learning goals. In this study, the steps taken by the author to examine the literature search method. Literature search includes searching from various sources of literature from magazines, books and other sources to facilitate research, the method is to find material related to the discussion of this article, both physically and digitally or manually. Thus, so that learning can be effective and not boring, Sunday school teachers are required to be able to use ICT as a learning method when teaching. So in this case the Sunday school teacher will find it easier to provide learning as well as children will find it easier to capture and understand learning, not get bored in learning, and will have an interest and curiosity in the lessons being studied. The use of ICT as a teaching method for Sunday school teachers will generate new desires and interests for children and the media can control the pace of learning and provide a comprehensive experience for children from concrete and abstract things. So, teaching methods using information and communication technology will have a major influence or impact on learning outcomes with the desired goals.

Abstract

This study aims to find a conception for Christian students of how to understand God's call for Christian students, especially in roles in a pluralistic society. As a large nation consisting of various elements, Christian students in Indonesia cannot stand still and surrender. At the same time, it is asked to answer God's call by portraying oneself elegantly in plurality. Research is conducted with qualitative methods to find clear and correct understanding and guidance. Data was obtained from selected literature based on the suitability of variables and needed part of the answer to the research problem. The result is that differences in ethnicity, culture, religion, and social level are loopholes to carry out God's call in a pluralistic society. Practising a calm attitude and acting out religious moderation is the right way for students to attend school. Research emphasizes that student fellowship in schools is a measured and guided effort to maintain students' faith and trust. Through the fellowship, Christian values and education can be instilled. God's call becomes light, and salt in society can be realized. The diversity of society is precisely God's way for Christian students to answer the divine call.

Abstract

The leadership quality of a PAK teacher has a major role in shaping the character and behavior of students. This article explores how teachers, especially PAK teachers, become central figures who become role models for students. Teacher leadership in this context is not only limited to administrative or managerial capacity, but also includes moral and ethical dimensions that influence students in various aspects of life. PAK teachers play an important role in guiding students in understanding the values, ethics and attitudes that are considered positive in society. PAK teachers are not just instructors, but role models who are looked up to by students. Therefore, the leadership qualities of Sir teachers must be taken seriously. Traits such as integrity, empathy, fairness, and firmness are the main components in forming teachers as good role models. Teacher behavior, both inside and outside the classroom, influences how students see the world and respond to it. The high leadership quality of PAK teachers has a positive impact on student character development. Teachers inspire students to achieve academic achievements and develop positive attitudes such as discipline, cooperation and responsibility. Kualitas kepemimpinan seorang Guru PAK memiliki peran utama dalam membentuk karakter dan perilaku peserta didik. Artikel ini mengeksplorasi bagaimana guru, khususnya Guru PAK, menjadi figur sentral yang menjadi teladan bagi siswa. Kepemimpinan guru dalam konteks ini bukan hanya terbatas pada kapasitas administratif atau manajerial, tetapi juga mencakup dimensi moral dan etis yang memengaruhi siswa dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan. Guru PAK memainkan peran penting dalam membimbing siswa dalam memahami nilai-nilai, etika, dan sikap yang dianggap positif dalam masyarakat. Guru PAK bukan sekadar instruktur, melainkan model peran yang dijunjung tinggi oleh siswa. Oleh karena itu, kualitas kepemimpinan guru Pak harus diperhatikan dengan serius. Sifat-sifat seperti integritas, empati, keadilan, dan ketegasan adalah komponen utama dalam membentuk guru sebagai teladan yang baik. Perilaku guru, baik di dalam maupun di luar kelas, memengaruhi cara siswa melihat dunia dan meresponnya. Kualitas kepemimpinan guru PAK yang tinggi memiliki dampak positif pada perkembangan karakter siswa. Guru menginspirasi siswa untuk meraih prestasi akademis dan mengembangkan sikap positif seperti disiplin, kerja sama, dan tanggung jawab.
