Abstract

The dynamics of adapting to new habits during the COVID-19 pandemic have had a major impact on various fields, especially in the field of education. Adjustment of adaptation to online learning is a priority policy in adapting to a new life. The Institute of Domestic Administration, West Nusa Tenggara Campus, which initially carried out direct face-to-face lectures, shifted to the use of online media and distance learning as a strategic step that must be taken to prevent the transmission of the Covid-19 virus. The purpose of this study was to know the effectiveness of online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic at IPDN NTB Campus. Methods The research uses a quantitative model with closed and open survey methods. Respondents from this study amounted to 392 Praja/students. The results of this study indicate that 50% of Praja/students want partly online learning (online), 24% want online learning, and 26% want face-to-face learning, so it can be concluded that online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic was quite effectively implemented.

Abstract

This study examines how the development model of the data soban application is used to provide public services to the people of South Kalimantan for the welfare of the community. Descriptive research is research used by researchers in this study. Researchers describe facts, data, and information obtained from literature studies such as books, journals, and research results related to the research topic. In this study, it is explained that along with the development of technology and information, people's demands for the availability of fast, accurate, and factual information are increasing. This is also felt by the South Kalimantan Social Service as part of the local government tasked with improving the welfare of the community through various programs, one of which is distributing social assistance funds to people in need. South Kalimantan Province has 26 PPKS and 12 PSKS must be recorded accurately and factually. The goal is that the funds that are channeled are right on target. Therefore, the Social Affairs Office of South Kalimantan in collaboration with Kominfo developed an application model named Datu Soban which is used to facilitate public services and overcome the above problems to improve the welfare of the people of South Kalimantan.

Abstract

Samarinda is the capital city of East Kalimantan Province. Geographically the location of Samarinda City is very strategic, thus making Samarinda a city of services, industrial trade and settlements with environmental insight. As the capital, the rapid urbanization and migration from other areas has spurred the development of settlements which tend to deviate from the concept of sustainable development without proper mitigation. This incident resulted in the frequency of flood disasters in Samarinda City being increasingly encountered by the public. The flood disaster hampers the traffic activities of people's lives and causes losses suffered by the community. The Samarinda City Government must pay attention and make efforts to improve and restore governance in flood control strategies. So that flooding in Samarinda City can be mitigated and prevented in order to create a flood-free on Samarinda City.This reasearch intends to formulate a strategy of flood control in the city of Samarinda using the theory of the strategy proposed by Bryson, with a qualitative descriptive ap- proach. Data collection through interviews and documentation.

Abstract

The Civil Service Police Unit is a regional government apparatus in maintaining public order and peace and protecting the community as well as enforcing regional regulations and regional head regulations that take place dealing with the community. In helping to carry out these main tasks and functions, the Satpol PP of North Kalimantan Province made an application of the Strategy for Control of Public Order and Public Order (SIAP KAKA), the application (SIAP KAKA) is an application service whose job is to monitor conditions around areas/areas that are prone to Tramtibum violations via Circuit Closed Television (CCTV) based on Information Technology (IT) which is installed at various street corner points and at traffic lights. The purpose of this study was to determine the optimization of the SIAP KAKA application to facilitate supervision and control of the community by the Civil Service Police Unit of North Kalimantan Province. The method used in this scientific study is descriptive qualitative using a literature study approach, namely in collecting information and data, conducting a review of literature books and information from various internet. The results obtained show that the optimization of the SIAP KAKA application in supporting the implementation of the tasks and functions of the Satpol PP in Tramtibum is very easy and helpful, but there are still some obstacles that cause the SIAP KAKA application to not work properly, one of which is a budget problem.

Abstract

As a country that has a very high potential related to forest and land fires (karhutla), Indonesia especially South Kalimantan Province needs to have media that can be used in efforts to manage disasters such as forest and land fires more effectively. The benefit of this study is to find out the efforts of the South Kalimantan Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) in tackling the karhutla disaster that occurred. The method used is a descriptive qualitative study which is carried out through the study of literature related to the topic of discussion, journals, articles, books, to research results. The result of our study to show up how the utility of LAPAN : Fire Hotspot as one of the ICT-based media in dealing with disasters such as forest and land fires has various benefits and great advantages. This media can provide an overview related to disasters, especially forest and land fires such as statistical data, risk indexes, and spatial planning. From this study, we can be conclude this LAPAN : Fire Hotspot will have great benefits if it is used properly by the community, government, and other interested parties. Therefore, it is necessary to provide sufficient literacy and information regarding the use of this application, especially to the South Kalimantan BPBD as the front guard in tackling the problem of forest fires in South Kalimantan.
