Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of education, access to information, experience, and Islamic banking socialization on the level of public knowledge regarding Islamic banking products. The study employed a quantitative approach using a survey design. Data were collected through Likert-scale questionnaires distributed to 264 respondents in Sawahan Koto Majidin Village selected through a sampling technique. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression, including partial tests (t-test), simultaneous tests (F-test), and the coefficient of determination (R²). The findings reveal that, partially, education, access to information, and experience do not have a significant effect on the public’s level of knowledge regarding Islamic banking products. In contrast, Islamic banking socialization has a positive and significant effect. Simultaneously, all independent variables significantly influence the level of public knowledge. These findings indicate that improving public literacy regarding Islamic banking products is more effectively achieved through intensive and sustainable socialization and educational programs. This study highlights the importance of integrated educational strategies in strengthening public Islamic financial literacy.

Abstract

This Community Service Program (PkM) aimed to improve the understanding and skills of the Majelis Taklim group in Simpang Tiga Rawang Village, Sungai Penuh City, in managing organizational finances effectively, transparently, and accountably. The main problems faced by the majelis taklim group were the limited ability of the administrators in financial recording, cash report preparation, budget planning, and monitoring the use of activity funds. The implementation method employed a participatory approach through several stages, including observation, needs identification, material delivery, practical training on preparing simple financial reports, discussions, and activity evaluation. The participants consisted of administrators and members of the majelis taklim group who actively participated in religious and social community activities. The results of the program indicated an increase in participants’ understanding of the importance of systematic and transparent organizational financial management. Participants were also able to prepare simple cash inflow and outflow records and understand the basic principles of activity budget planning. Furthermore, this activity encouraged the development of collective awareness in maintaining organizational financial accountability to increase the trust of members and the community. This training is expected to become an initial step in building a more professional and sustainable governance system for the majelis taklim organization.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to examine the antecedents of customer loyalty by analyzing the effects of service quality, trust, and customer satisfaction on customer loyalty at Mixue Sungai Penuh. The research seeks to develop an empirical model explaining how these key relational constructs contribute to strengthening long-term customer commitment in the food and beverage industry. Design/methodology/approach: This research employs a quantitative approach with a causal design. Data were collected through structured questionnaires distributed to 85 customers of Mixue Sungai Penuh using a purposive sampling technique. The measurement items were adapted from established scales in the marketing literature. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with IBM SPSS Statistics version 25 to test the direct effects of service quality, trust, and customer satisfaction on customer loyalty. Findings: The results reveal that service quality, trust, and customer satisfaction simultaneously have a significant effect on customer loyalty. Partially, service quality and trust significantly influence customer satisfaction, and customer satisfaction significantly affects customer loyalty. These findings indicate that customer satisfaction plays a crucial role in strengthening loyalty, while service quality and trust function as key drivers in shaping positive customer perceptions and behavioral intentions. Research implications: This study enriches the empirical literature on customer loyalty by confirming the importance of service quality, trust, and satisfaction in a local food and beverage retail context. Practically, the findings suggest that managers should prioritize consistent service performance and trust-building strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and ultimately foster loyalty. Future studies are encouraged to involve larger samples and additional variables to improve generalizability and theoretical development.

Abstract

Research Objectives: This study aims to analyze the influence of financial literacy, financial inclusion, and financial technology (fintech) on the financial behavior of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Sungai Penuh City. It also seeks to examine the simultaneous effects of these variables and identify the dominant factor influencing MSMEs’ financial behavior. Design/ Methodology / Approach Research: The study adopts a quantitative associative research design. The population consists of 30 MSMEs in Sungai Penuh City, all of which are selected as the sample using a simple random sampling technique. Data are collected through structured questionnaires using a five-point Likert scale. The research instruments are tested for validity and reliability. The data analysis techniques include: Classical assumption tests (normality, multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity) , Multiple linear regression analysis, Hypothesis testing using t-test and F-test, Coefficient of determination (R²) analysis, Statistical analysis is conducted using SPSS software. Research Results: The findings reveal that:Financial literacy has a positive and significant effect on MSMEs’ financial behavior, making it the most influential variable, Financial inclusion has a negative and insignificant effect, indicating that access to financial services does not necessarily translate into improved financial behavior, Fintech also shows a negative and insignificant effect, suggesting limited adoption and utilization among MSMEs, Simultaneously, financial literacy, financial inclusion, and fintech significantly influence financial behavior, as indicated by the F-test, The explanatory power of the model is relatively weak (R² = 28.7%), implying that other external factors also play a substantial role in shaping financial behavior. Implications of Research Results: The study implies that improving MSMEs’ financial behavior should primarily focus on enhancing financial literacy, as it is the key determinant of effective financial management. Additionally: There is a need to strengthen financial education and training programs for MSME actors, Efforts should be made to increase awareness and practical utilization of financial inclusion services, Policymakers and financial institutions should promote user-friendly and accessible fintech solutions, accompanied by education and mentoring, The findings also suggest that future research should incorporate additional variables, such as psychological factors, business experience, and policy support, to better explain MSMEs’ financial behavior.
